Why cant Nikhil forewarn Jhanvi about the customs

Nikhil should be well aware of the customs in his village, he could have easily forewarned Jhanvi. I can understand some mistakes, but not taking her husband's name is pretty common. She should have been aware of this.....

Suman bhabhi is clearly no help

And Nikhil should know that there is no way of Janvi to be aware of the silly customs of the village

Just a little heads-up on what toexpect won't exaclty kill him

Would'nt he like to see people love and respect Janvi, rather than looking at her strangely all the time?

I think the better question is why did he bring her there? He is independent and has his own place. He knows she would be treated like the scum of the earth and be brought her there anyway, under the impression that his bhabhi was sick. Fair enough, but now that he knows that she is actually not sick, he should pack up and get out of there.

Of course the real doofus in this situation is Jhanvi. I'm sure even if Nikhil had the half a brain necessary to get her out of there, she would insist on staying and being humiliated.

i agree with yuks... a heads up would have been a bit helpful for janvi .. but i guess he doesn't realize what janvi is going through.. the rudeness that is..
