Yuvraj races home in the car quickly to stop the engagement on time and just as the rings were about to be exchanged, he barges in and announces that Akash is a liar and is out to destroy Gauri's life w/ this marriage. Saras fumes in anger and explodes on Yuv for throwing false accusations on Akash. But when Yuv shows Akash's pics w/ Tina in the park, all are dumbfounded. But yet Saras asks Akash to tell them the truth. Akash tells them that the pics have been morphed and it's not him. So Yuv summons the photographer to the house and asks him to tell everyone the truth but when the guy gets there and Akash gives him a cold stare, he turns around and accuses Yuv of paying him to morph the pic and then he leaves. Yuv is stunned and realizes that Akash may have paid him off. He urges everyone to believe him, but Saras slaps him and orders him to stay out of their lives (huh, where was all this fire when she was on fire?). Gauri too rebukes him for it (there goes ms. desperate again' she of all people should have believed Yuv, she knows how much of a casanova Akash is). Yuv is feels terrible and leaves when Saras goes on and on abt how evil he is. After he leaves, Sav apologizes to Devyani and Akash, and the engagement resumes. Menka goes to Yuv on the terrace and tells him that she believes he was saying the truth, but insists that he should stop protecting the ppl who don't even care for him. She advises him to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to everything in the betis' lives (for once, menka was the only one today who made complete sense!). Sav comes there and gives him an earful for the scene he created downstairs. He tries to explain to her that he was telling the truth, but Sav replies that she doesn't know who is right or wrong, and that all she knows is that after a very long time, Gauri has happiness in her life again and she doesn't want anyone or anything to ruin that (o wow, so basically in other words she just admitted that she doesn't care if Akash is a cheat or a loser, all she wants is Gauri to get married to anyone' she'd probably even agree if Gauri had to marry a monkey).She makes Yuv promise to not create hurdles in Gauri's happiness ever again and he obliges.

Comments: Also, there was yet another dance scene in today's episode with all the betiyaan. The less said about that the better :P
