gauri was right to reject akash! she should have been insulted that he would even have the nerve to approach her with such an offer. then sav rushes to her side to convince her to marry him, after he sexually humiliated her?! she has confirmed what everyone else already suspected: that gauri can't do any better. this also confirms the fact that she MUST get married, and that working and leading a respectable, dignified life is less preferable to living a humiliating married life. she has to marry whatever jerk approaches her first only because she won't get any better offers. and why. because she wears glasses! i think the guy, whose family demanded a huge dowry for her, was even better than akash...

a stupid woman . an utterly stupid woman , slightly wanting in the head . honestly , she is no better than menaka .

and even more stupid r the daughters who listen to her ridiculous advice .

saraswati is the epitome of empty bhashanbaazs .

the other four give parakeets a complex .

one bad decision after the other is savitri for u . btw it is also the story of the serial ........one bad decision after the other . the creatives fail to see that a plethora of bad decisions cannot make a good story . even greek tragedies didnt show so many bad decisions all at once . they had some respite .

i dont know how indian women can tolerate savitri . even women in villages have more character , more substance and more common sense .

Savitri needs to be slapped and slap real hard too. Why on earth would she want Gauri to get married to a man who has done nothing but humiliate her is beyond my understanding. It's like she's so desperate for Gauri to get married that she doesn't care who she gets married to just as long as she gets married. This woman, instead of saving her children from the fire she pushes them in it.

i agree with u g_spice.savitri is pushing her child in the fire rather than saving.she should have stood by gauri's side but can't believe she is forcing gauri to get married to the guy who insulted her like no tomorrow.

Even if Sav persuaded Gauri, it is Gauri who should have stood up for herself against Sav & told her - no way am I going to marry a man who has no respect for me!

Agree on this completely. It's not Sav's fault. Her daughter should of stood up and saif something. Can't blame Sav. If she wasn't told by her daughter then why would she question it...it's all gauri's fault
