May 13^th '09 Written Update

When the betis ask Sav and Menka where they'd gone, Sav lies that they were at the temple preparing for the havan, although she feels bad lying to them. In the office, at the board meeting, Gauri gives some suggestions regarding their upcoming project, by which Devyani and the rest of the board members are impressed, but not Akash and Tina. Devyani asks Gauri to handle the project and suggests Akash take Gauri w/ him to the conference and the after party later. Gauri is glad when Akash entrusts her w/ some imp work but this upsets Tina. When the havan starts and the pundit asks for the Suryakant's son to do the puja, Sav asks Nik and Kshitij to do it instead. This upsets Menka and she leaves from there. At home, Sav finds Menka crying for Yuvraj and tries explaining to her that he is undergoing punishment for the crimes he has done and to let it go. She's horrified when Menka states that his crimes weren't so large for him to suffer like this and makes it clear to her that she will get her son out of prison at any cost. Later Menka gets a call from Rasik who mocks her for listening to Sav and the betis and not doing anything for Yuv. Menka finally decides not to listen to anyone and do as she pleases. There at the after party, Akash is w/ Tina totally drunk. When she leaves him to go get another drink, he accidentally trips but Gauri catches him. (hmm, isn't it usually the other way around?) He hallucinates that she is Tina and flirts w/ her. He takes her glasses off and lets her hair go off the clip she's tucked it in. Gauri feels shy, but just then Tina arrives there and pushes her away taking Akash back into her arms. (haha a tug of war!) She orders Gauri to get the car. At night, Menka arrives to visit Yuv in jail. She walks along the hall passing thru each cell looking for him. Just then inside one cell, she spots Suryakant's sketch on the wall and Yuv standing in front of it, pleading for forgiveness. (woah, didn't know he was such an artist! and looks like he's clean-shaven too, guess this jail is very lenient) He turns around stunned when Menka calls out to him.
