April 13, 2009 Written Update

Jhanvi refuses to marry Nikhil. Nik requests to speak to her in private, where he questions her abt her decision. She explains to him that she can't get married before her older sister Gauri does. He agrees to wait and postpone their marriage. They go downstairs and tell the family that they are not getting married but Nik says that if he's getting married, it wud be to Jhanvi only. He leaves and the family ask Jhanvi why she took this decision, but she is silent.

Later, she explains to Menka that it was for Gauri… but Menka says that waiting for Gauri, both of them will remain unmarried forever. Gauri hears all this and is about to run away but drops a pot down, and both Menka-Jhanvi see her. Gauri runs to her room, locks the door, and gulps down a handful of sleeping pills. When the family manages to get the door open, they find Gauri on the floor. They get a doctor for Gauri, meanwhile Jhanvi explains to all the reason for cancelling the marriage. The doctor comes out and assures them all that Gauri is perfectly fine.

When she wakes up, they surprise her with flowers and promise her that their first priority now will only be her marriage. Later, Sav tells the betiyaan how Kshitij seems overwhelmed with the workload these days, and tells them that they shud help him. They decide to start work from today, but when they arrive to the factory they see a crowd of people. Kshitij is being beaten up, and the factory is locked. A guy tells them all that this factory no longer belongs to the Garodias, but to Balwant Chawda.

Precap: Kshitij explains that Balwant has taken over their business.
