Shitij is arrested by the cops, and Saras and the rest try to convince the cops that Shitij is innocent. They plead to Kaj to take the case back, but she is unmoved. Saras even pleads to Yuv, who simply stands there in silence. Shitij tells Saras to not plead anymore and he is taken away by the cops. Sav and the girls go to the police station and the cop tells them that there is nothing much he can do, and the only one who can help them is Kajri. They are disappointed hearing that and wonder what they will do now, cuz they are sure Kaj will not lift a finger to help them. At home, Niy goes to yuv's room and expresses her disappointment in him and tells him that she is appalled seeing how insensitive he can be to his own family. She warns him that Kaj is going to destroy their family and it will too late till he realizes his mistake. She tells him how disgusted she is by the fact that she is carrying his child. Sav goes to a jeweler and sells off her jewels for 60,000 rupees.

The girls are at home devastated thinking how they are going to help Shitij when they have no money. Just then Sav comes there and assures them that Shitij will be released. The girls are very upset when they realize that Sav sold her ancestral jewelry for the money. Sav explains to them that they have more imp matters to handle, than worry abt the jewels which are of no value to her w/ Surya in her life. She then hands Saras the money but Kaj comes there and snatches it from their hands and accuses them of stealing the money. Sav defends herself, but Kaj goes on with her insults and taunts. Jhumki furious at all this, threatens Kaj to give back the money to Sav or else. Kaj mocks her and threatens to tell baa everything if she doesn't shut her mouth and asks her to leave the house if she doesn't like to live this way. Jhumki agrees that leaving would be the best thing to do. The girls are shocked to hear that and they try to make her stay. She tells them that they may be able to live w/ these sufferings and sadness, but she can't and she won't, when she has never let anyone dictate her all her life; she is not going to start now. Kaj and Ras look on gladly.

Precap: Sav, Menka, Niy are worried and wonder abt Jhumki and how she left just like that. Saras tells them that she is upset that Jhumki left them all at such a time when they all needed each other's support, and adds that she feels as if Jhumki has betrayed them.
