Sav and the girls worry wondering where Niy may have gone, while Niy is out on the streets all alone thinking abt what Yuv did. Saras calls up Shitij at work to inform him abt Niy's disappearance. Shitij shares this info with Yuv and rebukes him for how he has treated Niy. Overwhelmed with guilt, Yuv goes with Shitij to look for her. Niy enters a temple and breaks down b4 God. Yuv searches for Niy, but to no avail. Shitij even comes to the temple, but worries when he doesn't find her there. At home, the girls decide to go look for Niy themselves. But Kaj stops them and asks them to serve lunch for her. They go in to do their work, and Saras calls Shitij to find out if he got any info on Niy. He tells her that Niy is nowhere to be found. During lunch, Kaj compliments Sav and the girls on the tasty fish they have made and tells them to cook butter chicken for her tomorrow.

Later all are in the main room worried for Niy, when Saras notices Yuv going to his room. She mocks him for his callous behavior and just then Niy walks in and tells Yuv that she has something to give him. She then grabs her mangalsutra off of her neck and hands it to Yuv demanding a divorce from him. She hands him the divorce papers and tells him to sign them. He tries to convince her to rethink, but she is adamant in her decision. She tells him that he has hurt her over and over again and now she wants to end it all and leave. She threatens to take him to court if he doesn't agree mutually. The girls try to change her mind, but she remains obstinate in her decision. She asks Yuv to choose b/w her and Kajri. Kajri is standing there gladly watching all this. All are shocked when Yuv tells Niy that he will sign it on the condition that she doesn't leave the house cuz he doesn't want her out there homeless, in her condition. Kajri is irritated by Yuv's decision. Niy agrees to it when the girls urge her to stay in the house since she is the bahu of the house despite the divorce. Yuv signs and leaves to his room, while Niy breaks down into tears.
