December 31^th 2008 Written Update

Sid's family, along with everyone else at the party leaves the Garodias upset and distraught. Chandni leaves the party and receives her pay from Rasili, and leaves. Rasili looks on with a smirk. Inside, Surya rebukes Menka for lying in the first place. She tries defending herself saying all she wanted was Jhanvi's happiness. Surya leaves after telling her that she has humiliated them all. All leave while Menka falls to the floor in tears.

Jhanvi cries in her room while Surya and Sav come there to console her, and they assure her that if her love is true, Sid will surely come back. There, Rasili tells Kajri the news of the rishta breaking and they rejoice. The next day, all are eating dinner. Jhanvi comes there without wearing any makeup or jewelry and the family is hurt seeing her this way. The bell rings, and Gauri opens it to find Sid. She calls out his name, and the entire family rushes to the door. He asks to talk to Jhanvi, and she comes downstairs. He hands her back the ring, telling her that he breaks all relationships with her today.

He tells them all that he cannot change his decision now, and begins to leave. He turns back to Jhanvi and requests her not to repeat to some1 else what she did to him. Surya taunts Menka for ruining Jhanvi's life in the first place, and ruining it once more. He leaves, and Jhanvi is left disappointed.

Precap – A customer comes complaining to Surya, abt the cheap material he is using lately.
