- Kakul calls Samman to wish him a happy diwali, at first he really doesn't want to talk to her but wishes her happy diwali as well. Dadi is telling Amarnath not to question the kids today about what they are doing and where they went. Dadi says think of this as my last diwali and listen to me. Amarnath says he won't question them. Samman comes with a phonecall for Dadi, its Kakul. Dadi hands the phone to Amarnath later to talk to Kakul. Kakul tells Amarnath that she knows he doesn't want to talk to her but she only wanted to wish everyone a happy diwali. Amarnath says its not like that he only wants his daughters happiness, and then kakul says but aren't those that aren't your blood someone elses daughters as well.
- Sujeet and Trisha are celebrating Diwali. Sujeet is playing cards and his gives all his winning to his friends as a diwali present.
- Tulika goes to meet Abhi at the hospital and wish him both a happy diwali and tell his goodbye. Abhi says my dad warned me that this love would lead me nowhere, but it was me who couldn't understand. Abhi says that he will never come in Tulika way every again. Sharad also comes and wishes him a happy diwali, and asks about Nana's health. Sharad tells Tulika its time to go, Tulika turns around one last time to see Abhi.
- Devika is talking to some boy on the other line, and they discuss that tommorrow they will set up a time to meet.
- Ghutum comes to see if Vanshika is ready, of course she is not. Later they arrive at Samman's house. They wish everyone, and then Ghutum convinces Amaranth to play cards with him. Uttra comes and tells Amarnath she is leaving to go hand out some Diwali presents.
- Sharad tells Tulika he wants to meet Neha and Khoushaliya and wish them a happy diwali, but is afraid of mom and dad finding out. Tulika says they should follow his heart, and they head towards Neha's house. They show that Uttra is also headed in the same direction.
-Sharad and Tulika arrive, and are greeted nicely by Neha. Khoushaliya is a little annoyed, but welcomes them in.Khoushaliya says that this is the first diwali that they celebrating by themselves. Tulika wants to taste some of Khoushaliya favorites sweets, and Sharad mentions how this is the first diwali that in their house the sweets are coming from a shop. Then suddently in walk in Uttra. She looks to see Sharad and Tulika there.
- Uttra says that so you two are here, Tulika says they just got here, and are leaving. Sharad and Tulika leave, and Uttra says that I brought you guys some sweets, and hands over a box. Uttra says I want to talk to you but first open the present. Khoushaliya opens it up and its filled with money, and Uttra asks is that enough for you two to leave this town. Uttra starts all her lecturing about how Khoushaliya such a bad mother, they should realize their status etc. Neha tries to speak, but Uttra says didn't your mom teach you anything, Khoushaliya hushes up Neha. Uttra tells them to keep the money and get out of here. Uttra is leaving when Khoushaliya says Uttra-ji (instead of the normal Bhabhi she use to call her). Uttra is shocked, Khoushaliya looks angry.
