Kakul turns to go back but is stopped by Dadi who tells her to stay over till the goad bharai. Kakul agrees but says she will only stay in Nana's house till the ceremony. Devika and Uttara do not welcome Dadi's decision but tolerate it as they anticipate a positive impression on Shekhar's family. Vanshika becomes over-eager to know that Sammaan is going to stay over. He reassures her that he is doing this just to satisfy Dadi's sentiments. Kaushalya warns Neha not to dig up dirt by showing too much interest in the case just to prove Saxena guilty.
