Recap: Vans & Sam are married. He sees the reports and tells Vans he is ending all relations with her and will find out the truth even if it means he's going to have to questions his mom.
Vans stops Sam from leaving, she picks up the report saying everyone had a reason to put some blame on me. Kakul blamed me coz she wanted me to get away from you and Sujit helped her coz he only wants her happiness. I know you love Kak and that's why just like others you blamed me but you show me where does it say on the report that Vanshika Saxana has poisoned Kakul. I know Neha gave you this report coz she favors Kakul over me, she didn't want us to get married. She's had this report for so long, why did she wait until today to give you the report. She says the report is from some hospital in Patna, it's very easy for Sujit to get a fake report from there. Sam tells her to stop it, he says you have blamed everyone else, yet that does not free you of your mistakes, you can try as much as you want, but you cannot save yourself now. Vans says why should I free myself from what - the truth is that it was Uttara aunty who sent those Laddoo to Kakul, now are you also going to think that ur mom wanted to poison Kak. She tells him to think rationally - they wanted our marriage to fall apart, and if you believe this report then along with our marriage Amarnath uncle's life will be at stake also. Back at home - Rishab and Cynthia are in their room. He is saying I was so happy when I was coming back home from US but here I am and the entire family is falling apart. Cynthia consoles him saying everything will be fine.
Sam is sleeping on the couch (why, why didn't he go to his parents?). Vans brings him tea, he tells her to stop pretending to be my wife. She say why should I pretend, I am your wife. He says only for the outsiders, for me you are nothing, we have no relations.
She says marriage is a strong bond and cant be broken so easily. He looks at her in disgust saying you are saying this for whom breaking marriages is like playing a game, first you broke your marriage with Gautam, then you broke mine and Kakul's. Now I will break this marriage with you to prove that no relationship can be held together on basis of fraud and lies. She says I have not betrayed you, I love you and I know that soon you'll realize the truth.
He says I am not confused, I know it for sure that it was you who tried to make Kakul crazy, and now the distance between us will grow more. I will get to the bottom of this even if I have to question my own mother. He leaves from there. She thinks to herself that its all coz of Neha but first I must warn Uttara aunty.
In Patna - Sujit is there to see Bau Sahib. Apparently he fell, the doc says that his BP is too high and he needs to work less. Upon hearing this Bau sahib laughs, says he'll have to work like this as he is going to run for the General secretary position. Sujit says that's fine but first you must take care of your health. Bau Sahib asks how Kakul is doing, Sujit says she is not talking to anyone. Bau Sahib says I will go to Mumbai and will bring here. Sujit says no need for that, I'll try to talk to her and bring her here.
Sam is at home - asking his mom about the report. Uttara says I don't want to see the report. We've known Vans for so long, she is not capable of poisioning anyone. She is your wife and carrying your child, she needs your love and support at this time. And here you are questioning her on the basis of this piece of paper. She tells him to forget about the report and focus on his married life. He says No, not until I find the truth about this report, I will not keep quiet.
Rishab is sitting with Kakul and says Thanks for helping with his rescue. He says Sam has done injustice to you, me and Cynthia are really worried about you. Kak says thanks but your concern for me will make me weak, I don't want to be weak in life. Devika comes with tea. Rishab asks him if she is going to stay here or move back to Patna. Devika says she is not going anywhere, she'll stay here with us. Devika asks Rishab if he met Sam - he says no we have all broken all ties with him when he married Vans. Kakul tells him not to do that, he will be all alone, he needs your support. Rishab says he's grown up and can make his decisions. Kakul says we always need loved ones, and I can understand the pain when our loved ones leave us. She leaves saying she wants to be alone.
Sam is in his office thinking when Kakul told him about the poisoned laddoos. He remembers Devika also told him about the report and it was Vans. He calls Kakul on her cell- she doesn't answer her phone. He then dials the phone in her room, she is still not answering. Devika comes in with some food asking her to eat something. The phone rings again, Devika is going to pick up, Kak tells him its Sam calling and I don't want to talk to him. Devika picks up - Sam says can I talk to Kak, she tells him she doesn't want to talk to him.
Uttara goes to meet Neha, gets mad at her saying why is she always interfering in our familiy matters. She asks her what proof does she have that the report is not fake. Neha tells her that it was Devika who gave the report to me for safekeeping. Uttara says you betrayed Devika's trust. Neha says I didn't betray anyone's trust, I did what was right. Vans is my sister, I would never hurt her on purpose, but both Sam & Kak are family to me also, I don't want them to get betrayed. So I showed the report to Sam.
Uttara says this is our family matter - who are you to interfere. Neha says I am something to the family which is why Devika entrusted me with that report and not anyone else. Uttara says nothing changed, Sam & Kak are still divorced, by doing this you have just created more havoc at home, and stay away from my family.
Sam comes to see Kakul. He says I know I shouldn't have come, but I have to talk to you. She walks away from there without talking to him. He tells Devika I just want to ask for forgiveness and maybe Kakul will get back with me only if you tell me the truth about that report. Devika is in shock about the report - he says yes the one you gave to Neha. She says where did you get it - he tells her that Neha gave it to me but he really needs to know the truth behind it, its important for mine and Kakul's life. Just then Sujit opens the doors. Sam asks Devika is it true that Vans poisioned the laddoo's on purpose. He is begging her - Sujit says she is very much familiar with this questions, it's the same question but the only difference is the person asking.
