What the hell is happening, what was the problem with the way it was made earlier with such beautiful characterisation, performances, subtle scenes,no ham scenes....its sooo cheap and disappointing that i cant tell you,i dont know what made Ajay Sinha make these ridiculous changes to kill his own show, earlier i always felt the duration of GES is so short,it ends leaving you wanting for more and now I surf channels many a times during the scene..we dont waste our half an hour to watch these unintelligent loud characters and baseless childish cat and mice fights, baseless loud negetive characters, aweful experiments,I have been a great admirer of Ajay Sinha,he has been one of the finest and intelligent makers since the time of justjoo and I think astitva was also his show, but I cant believe he can be so bad in the process of following the trend when it was not required and we never wanted and expected it.This is not the same GES.This is not the same Ajay Sinha.

I TOTALLY agree with you. I haven't been watching the show for about 2 or 3 weeks (have been away from home), but when I last watched it, I could sense a change in the characterisation and the style of storytelling. Uttara was never out-and-out evil, yet now she gradually seems to be turning into a typical Balaji-style evil saas. The make-up and costuming have become progressively less natural, and characters I previously liked now tend to annoy me. In short, a show I was once glued to is probably a show I will end up avoiding when I go back home to Indian cable TV. It's sad, really.
