The show starts with the inspector walking in and questioning everyone on how a suicide case was handled without informing the police. Uttara thinks to herself, Oh god, I hope my plan flop again.
The doctor walks in and the inspector starts questioning him as well. The doctor replies saying that it is not a suicide case just a depression case which I am treating and shows the papers to the inspector.
Everyone gets worried. The inspector asks Uttara what happened when she saw Devika unconscious etc and she says I thought Devika had taken an overdose however I wasnt sure. The doctor again tells the inspector that this is not a suicide case and you can leave. Sujit looks at Kakul and she smiles and nods to Sujit. Sujit then tells the inspector, I think this is all a confusion, come with me, I will explain everything to you. Sujit takes the inspector outside and talks to him about something which is not shown to us and the inspector goes.
Sujit then walks in and shouts at the doctor that how come he lied to everyone and saaid that the patient is about to die just to make money. He holds the doctor by his collar and starts screaming at him.
Uttara stops Sujit and says, leave the doctor, the big thing is that Devika is all right, what more do we want. Sujit lets the doctor go. Uttara starts saying, Thank God, my daughter is safe. Sujit thinks to himself, Thank god, I am safe.
Amarnath, Ahaan and Sharad are talking in the living room of Amarnath's house and discuss how SUjit managed the whole thing else we could all have been in police custody and how the doctor kept lying to us. Amarnath says that I am more worried about Devika since she is anyways in a state of depression.
Uttara comes there with tea and they talk about Ahaan's food. Ahaan says that the hotel food is bad, so Uttara and Amarnath asks him to come and stay with them and he agrees.
Kakul is in the kitchen when Uttara comes there and congratulates her. She says it was a good move but I am your MIL and i will ensure you lose. Kakul says sure, I have learnt my tricks from you, so I wont let you down.
Ahaan is in the office when Tara and Sharad walk in and they have a funny scene about Ahaan's knowledge of hindi language. Tara invites him to a charity concert she is organising.
Kakul is talking to Sujit and she says that all this is so bad. Sujit says that had Uttara not been Kakul's MIL, he would have killed her by now. The levels she has gone down to is not a joke. He then says that the sad part of this is that the one person who is suffering in all this is Devika.
Uttara and Devika are talking and Devika says that Kakul is very smart. She looks very simple, but she is actually very cunning. Uttara tells her that I know Kakul is very cunning but I will ensure she gets thrown out of this house. Just then Chirag who is lying there in his pram starts crying and Devika says, why doesnt he stop crying? I have started having a headache now by his constant crying.
Just then Kakul enters and she notices that Uttara and Devika are talking and ignoring that Chirag is crying. She walks in and picks up Chirag. She realises that he is hungry and requests Devika to hold him while she gets some milk for chirag. Devika ignores her. Kakul then requests Uttara to hold him and she says that I am not here to take care of random babies. Uttara then asks Kakul to get the kundli of Chirag checked to figure out who is going to be his mother and will take care of him in this lifetime. Kakul is shocked.
The door bells rings and Kakul opens the door. Its Ahaan with his bags. She asks him how come he is here, so Uttara comes and says that he will stay here from now on. Kakul says that how come you didnt tell me that, so Uttara rudely says, I am telling you now; go and get the guest room ready.
Kakul is setting up the guest room when Ahaan comes and says 'Hi Babes, dont worry about the bed'. She asks him to call her Bhabhi and not babes. He then says ok baby, I will not but I am a family member who dont worry about me. Thank you'. She says If you are a family member then dont say thank you to me.
Just then Ahaan sees a lizard in the room and screams and comes towards to Kakul. He hides behind kakul and holds her arms in fear. She asks him what happened and he points the lizard to her. She starts laughing and says, let me go I will throw her from the room. Just then Uttara enters and sees Ahaan holding Kakul and them laughing. She says to herself ' Mil gaya mujhe trump ka ikka'
