Later Kiran became busy attending her husband, and she nearly forgot about Geet..
When Maan came home for the holidays, he inquired Kiran about Geet… then only Kiran called that neighbor to get some news about Geet’s college and maybe they could go see her at her college….
Then Kiran got the shocking news of Geet’s marriage….. that was truly a shocker for everyone, specially Maan…
What? Geet was still minor...
How could they do that? In what age are they living?
Geet getting married? What about her consent? Did they even ask her about the marriage? That too with her mami's cousin brother who is 12 years elder than Geet…
In those two years when Geet was in the boarding school, her Nanni passed away and her mamaji suffered a stroke and got bed ridden…
That was when her mami turned against Geet as she was wrongly manipulated by her cousin brother who had an eye on Geet….
Geet’s mami rejected Geet’s plea to join college…
Geet revolted and wanted to let her go to Delhi… she was kept in house arrest…
Then one day Geet tried to escape from the house and go to Delhi .. to her misfortune, that mami’s relatives spotted Geet at the bus terminal and they took Geet back to mami..
That’s when the mami decided that she couldn’t manage Geet alone, she seeked her cousin’s help, they planned to get her married to that cousin so that Geet would stay with that mami forever…
Geet threatened that she was still a minor and that it was against the laws to get her married…
They knew that Geet was pretty knowledgeable about the laws, and so decided to wait until Geet turned 18…
Until then they sent Geet to that mami’s sister’s place…
Geet was almost jailed in that house… once when tali mamaji, Geet’s other mama, came to see Geet, Geet wrote a letter to Kiran and asked that mama, who had a soft corner for Geet, to post it for her…
But our tali mamaji took it with him home, he then gave it to that mami thinking that Geet had sent that for her, Geet told that it was for her buaji..
That woman saw that it was written in English and understood that Geet was trying to contact her buaji..
Then they became more strict… immediately the wedding preparations started and invitations were given..
Luckily for Geet, Sheetal and Kiran found Geet in time and saved her…
Geet came to Delhi and stayed at KM…
Annie took Geet with her whenever she went out with friends, she never left Geet alone except college time..
Maan was at Manipal and so he missed being with his Mishty…
Geet was relieved that Maan was not there… .
But whenever Maan called home he tried to interact with Geet…
Geet ke paas uska apna mobile hai, par Maan ke call ko Geet ignore karegi na…
Aur woh donno utna bhi friends nahi the ki personal calls karein…
Maan got to know about Geet from either Annie or Dadi…
One day Dadi tells Maan that Geet looks pretty upset and is in silence for the past two days…
She has refused to go out with Annie too… she didn’t even come to meet Dadima…
Dadi says that at times she goes into her shell and is lost in the past…
Maan knows that, he had seen her do that a lot of times… .but Maan hates that she keeps putting herself in pain for what happened in her life once…
Yes, it is bad that she had to endure everything, but for God’s sake you have had enough of it, just grieve for once and get rid of the pain out of your system once for all…
Why keep thinking about it again and again thereby punishing yourself for no reason?
Maan gets mad at her for this, she won’t talk with him or others about her pain and get rid of it by sharing, she keeps it with herself and keeps hurting herself more and more…
Maan wants to get her out of those unwanted thoughts somehow…
Maan ka mann kartha ki chalo ek bar Geet se baat bhi karthe hai…
Maan calls Geet…
It’s Maan… Geet knows his number from seeing it on Dadi’s mobile…
Geet pareshaan hothi ki ye kyun phone kartha?
As expected she ignores the call…
Maan too is not going to give up that easy…
He keeps calling again and again… .
Geet’s mobile is continuously ringing…
7 missed calls…
Geet attends the next call…
Geet: halo
Maan is happy that she finally talked…
Maan: Ms.Handa, tumme patha hai ki ye mobile tumme kyun diya gaya hai?
Geet doesn’t like when he addresses her like that…
Geet blinks… ye kaise sawaal hai?
Its like insulting her surname, jaise Khuranas are far superior and the others are far below, and that the mobile is given to her to attend his calls and serve him like a slave…
Geet: halo, who is this?
Geet pretends that it’s an anonymous call….
Maan: so you don’t know who is calling?
Geet: nahi
Maan: don’t lie, you may not be knowing, but you are a bad liar
Geet remains silent…
Ab usko patha chal gaya hai ki Geet ne jaanpoochke uske call ko ignore kiya….
Maan: phir se muh band kardhi? Kaise ladhki hai?
Geet gets angry…
Maan: toh Miss.Handa..
Maan is trying to irritate her…
Geet cuts the call….
What’s he thinking about himself?
