Mehta’s house is decorated and there sure is some function happening….

Maan is not ready to go in at such a time…

They are not even invited…

Maan turns back suddenly….

Geet is standing right behind him…

Geet who is about to take the next step couldn’t move as Maan has turned back…

Geet who didn’t expect it looses her balance and almost falls when Maan catches hold of her….

Maneet eyelock….

Geet forgets herself and goes into her imagination….

Maan just scoops and lifts her…

He carries her in his hands..

Geet keeps looking into Maan’s eyes…….

Geet is happy to go with Maan wherever he takes her to….

Geet quietly watches Maan as he carries her…

Geet is reminded of Dadi’s orders….

Geet: Maan, humne invitation dena hai

Maan: hum aaise nahi jaa sakte hai Geet

Geet: kyun? Kya hua?

Geet looks at herself and also Maan, are they dressed properly, yes, they are…

Geet: invitation dene ke liye bhi aapko invite karna padega kya?

Maan stares Geet….

Maan automatically follows her…..

Mrs. Mehta welcomes them…

They are taken to the place where the function is happening…

It’s their granddaughter’s namkaran ceremony…

Geet ek minute mein sabse gulgayi….

Geet looks and admires the cute little princess…

If everything went well in their life then they would be having their own princess by now….

The pandit asks the father to write the name of the child on the grain…

He writes…and Geet peeps as she is curious ….

“Anvi”…

Geet just whispers to herself, “Avni”

Then the parents and dada, dadi, Nana, Nani call the beautiful name in the baby’s ear….

Geet is so excited…. She keeps repeating with them…

“Avni”

Mohini: aap ko naam pasand hai beta?

Geet: Haan, Avni, bahut pyara naam hai, jaise apni nanni pari

Mohini: Sana, give the baby to Geet

Geet takes the baby and holds her in her arms ..

She keeps looking at her, she is reminded of the imaginary baby she had and how much she loved it. ..

What if she had a baby with Maan actually, she would give her life for that baby…

Maan ne toh uss baby ko kitna pyar diya aur usko kaise apnaake apna naam bhi diya…

Geet becomes sad thinking about what she has done to their lives and her eyes moisten…

Maan notices the change in Geet’s face and he knows that Geet has not changed a bit, she has not given up her habit of revisiting the past and regretting….

Maan moves closer tobher and holds her from the side…

Maan: Geet, kya kar Rahi ho? Baby ko naam lekhe pukaro, sab tumme hi dekh rahe hai

Geet looks at Maan in astonishment…

How could he forget about his worries and think about Geet?

Whatever it might be, Maan can’t see her becoming emotional and weak in front of anyone else…. In fact he hates to see her like this anytime….

Geet now is looking at Maan in admiration….

She forgets where they are and continues watching her man….

Maan bends and whispers in the baby’s ear…

“Anvi, Anvi, Anvi”…

Then Maan shakes Geet up…

Maan: Geet, ab tum karo

Geet too calls out the baby’s name thrice ..

Mohini: agle saal aap bhi apne bache ki namkaran karwana aur humein bhi bhulana, Savithri is just waiting for that day when she would get to hold her Geet’s baby

Yes, Dadi always says that she wants to see Geet’s child and she doesn’t say Maan’s child…

Dadi knows very well that if not Geet, Maan would never have a life with anyone else…..

So if she wants a grandchild from Maan then it would only be possible with Geet… haina?

Maneet take leave from there…

Geet goes silent…. She is very sad….

Maan wants to break her silence….

Maan: where are we going next?

Geet just gives the list to Maan…

Maan: you only know where the next party is, dadi must have told you, if I go by the list you would call Dadi again, I don’t want to trouble you, so, the me Geet, where are we going next?

Maan takes her to a popular restaurant at a star hotel instead….

Geet is surprised…. Why have we come here? Is there really another party there?

aww....maan can never see geet sad or upset..he will put up with whatever he has to..

that is wht he does when he sees her going into the past and getting upset seeing the baby...but how beautifully she jelled with everyone right...

geet is so admiring maaan the way he came and stood by her and stood with her...

lets see what you have in store for them...

geet has started dreaming whatshe wants toshare with maan...aww the longing to have that amazing life

but she only destroyed it
