At the apartment that night…

Geet keeps thinking about Maan…

What she can’t forget is Maan’s painful eyes, he is badly hurt….

He is broken beyond repair… maybe it’s better for her to go far far away from Maan, she can’t see him suffer like this…

Geet has decided to go back to Singapore already, she has got a job there, she will leave once the wedding is over…

She has to leave Delhi if she has to forget everything and start afresh, but she doesn’t know that the problem is not with the place but within herself..

She has to leave her pessimistic thoughts and start believing in a happy life ahead.. that’s not possible without Maan by her side… that she too knows…. She has been happy whenever Maan was around, she lived in fear and without any hope whenever she went away from him…

Next day…

Maan realizes what happened last night…

He doesn’t remember much…

Geet came to drop him, only that much he knows..

He shouldn’t have drunk, but what could he do after seeing Geet like that?

She really looked breathtaking, she has everything to mesmerize him… it’s like Nature has made her just for him, they say “made for each other”… it might not hold good for Geet but it’s true for him…

But what’s the use when she doesn’t love him?

Maan tries to forget Geet but that seems impossible…

Maan gets ready and goes to KC… he hopes that Geet doesn’t come there…

But no she has to be there to annoy him, she is here…

That too to welcome him, yes Maan sees her in the lift itself, he takes the steps obviously…

Geet too is not here to meet him, but she couldn’t stop herself from coming and finding out how he is doing after last night…

Geet has never seen him like that before, he was always the macho man, big brother, the saviour or the devil…

But last night she saw a different MSK, the one whose only weakness is Geet…

She saw a desperate man who was searching for something that he had lost, he was looking to find that in her, as if she had stolen something from him…

What does he have to lose? He is a man and the men have nothing to lose unlike poor women, she has everything to lose, her honor, her dignity, her future, her life and also her child’s life… haina?

Stupid girl, what do you know about Maan? You would not be here suffering if you had known him better…

That poor guy looked pathetic like a wounded lion, completely helpless and hopeless…

Geet has been in that state many a time, but she is seeing Maan in that condition for the first time…

She might not be able to forgive Maan, but still she is worried to know that the MSK is in pain…

She just wants to see him back in form, ready to roar…

She wanted to make him pay for his deed, and that’s done…

She doesn’t mean to see him suffer like this, she expected him to feel sorry and understand her loss… but he has not realised what he has done, he is hurt by her actions… as if he expects her to forget everything and act like nothing had happened…

Maan has gone to his room…

Geet waits at the reception with Pinky to see him…

She’ll leave once she gets to see the MSK, and not that crying baby Maan…

There is no sign of him coming out, how would he come out knowing that she is here?

He is the boss and he can get things done sitting inside his room, but he has to go to the meeting… he has to go meet the clients waiting in the conference hall…

Maan comes out and heads to the conference hall in a hurry..

Geet runs after him but couldn’t see his face though…

The meeting is over, and everyone has left except Maan… .

Maan is alone in the conference hall looking at some papers…

Geet gets in…

Maan gets angry, what does she want? Why is she after me?

Maan: go back Geet, just stay away from me

Geet inches forward…

Maan stands up and tries to leave…

Geet comes in his way and blocks him…

She looks up at his face…

She keeps staring him trying to find out more… why is he hurt while she is the one who has lost everything?

What could hurt him this bad?

And what was he saying last night?

Maan too looks at her, she has gone pale and looks scared like the Geet from the past…

She is not happy after getting what she wanted? She wanted his downfall and here he is ruined both in business and personal life… does he have a life after all this? He doesn’t think so… He has lost his love, his life..

But Geet has won, she should be happy… but she is not..

What should he do to make her happy?

Does she want to see him dead?

He can do that instead of seeing her like this….

What went wrong? Why did his love fail? What’s his mistake?

He keeps watching his Mishty in disbelief… why Geet? Why?

You never trusted me and it’s not your fault alone Geet, whatever it is and however hard I tried, I failed in the end, I failed to gain your trust, I failed to fulfill my duties as a husband, I failed to make my lovely wife feel secured, I couldn’t instill the faith in my dear wife that her husband would take care of her and her life, come what may….

Geet has finally succeeded in her mission but she is not so happy to see Maan like that though….

Geet: tumne kaisa nahi kiya?

Maan doesn’t answer ..

Geet: sab kuch tumne kiya aur meine saza paya, ab tum mujhe hi gunegar banana chahte ho?

Maan: tum bilkul pagal ho gayi ho Geet, mein tumse baat nahi karna chahta

Geet: mere bache ko tumne nahi mara?

Maan: tum kab tak past mein rahoge? Mein kaise bhool gaya ki bagwan ne tere aankhon ko peeche rakh diya hai, tum se aage dekhne ki umeed bhi kaise kiya meine?

Geet: tum sab ko ullu bana sakte ho, par mujhe nahi

Maan: tum toh kudh apne aap ko ullu banathi ho Geet , doosron ki koi zarurat nahi hai

Geet: you aren’t happy even after taking away my baby? What do you want? You thought I too will die?

Maan: no one died and no one will die, understand?

Geet: how can you lie like that?

Maan: tum toh kissi virtual world mein rehthi ho Geet

Maan: Geet, apne stories se bahar aao, tummari koi baby nahi thi

So, it’s not Geet’s baby for it was Dev’s, Geet baby has to be Maan’s only?

Geet: tum ne nahi, meine hi apne haath se apne hi baby ko maara, it’s all my fault, I should have gone with the baby too

Geet hits herself with both her hands… she tries to find something to hit herself…

That’s it… Maan can tolerate anything if it was just about him, but now she is harming herself…

Maan runs and stops her by holding her hands….

Maan: why are you punishing yourself for what is not true? You didn’t kill the baby Geet, you can never do that, it’s not your fault Geet, don’t do this to yourself, I never knew that you were blaming yourself all this time, it’s all my fault, I blew up everything, if only I didn’t do this wedding drama, you wouldn’t have faced all this, you wouldn’t have suffered like this, I thought that this wedding would bring back your happiness, but no Geet, I was wrong, this only created unwanted problems for you and hurt you so far, I don’t want you to continue this drama

So saying Maan takes off the mangalsutra from her neck…

Maan: you are free now Geet, you are not bound by anything now, you were , you are and you still will be Geet Handa only until you find someone you can trust, I have released your handcuffs, go find your happiness Geet, I have failed to give you that, you deserve to be happy Geet

Geet never thought that her happiness lies elsewhere… she thought that she had unknowingly killed a life in seeking her happiness, her happiness always lied with Maan and Maan only…

Geet: do you think this will make me happy?

Maan: I don’t know what will make you happy, but please don’t hurt yourself for something that never happened, for something that never existed, there was no baby Geet, you were never pregnant with any baby, I thought the Dr told you that and you knew everything

Maan leaves from there immediately totally devastated…
