Part – 46

Continuation of the past…

One day Maan came home a little late and found out that Geet was not seen anywhere at the apartment…

Maan had looked for her everywhere including her room ..

Maan was scared now… she had written about some nonsense in that note…..

What if she did something stupid?

Maan gets even more scared and looks for her in the whole house one more time….

Maan went to her room again…

This time she was there only… she was in the restroom when he came in search of her for the first time…. .

Geet was alone and her thoughts won’t let her stay in peace… she thought that a shower would help get rid of her past memories…

But even on the washroom she was standing there still holding to the mug lost in her thoughts for a long time…

When she came back to reality she dropped the mug filled with water on her foot and hurt her toes….

She had come out and was sitting on the bed…

Maan kept looking at her for a while….

Then he saw her bending down and looking at her toes…

He saw blood dropping from her little finger…

What has she done to herself now?

Maan got angry and ran towards her…

Geet was scared as Maan was looking very pissed off…

Just the other day he advised her to stop thinking about the past for that would only harm her, and look what she had done to herself?

Maan caught hold of her foot and looked at the wound…

It was nothing serious… just a superficial cut….

Maan couldn’t stop from looking at her further…..

Maan’s eyes hovered over her beautiful self and stopped at the wrong spot… .

Geet got a strange feeling, she felt shy and also scared…

That meant trouble, her brain alerted her though her heart was pumping faster in excitement… that was the time she had a huge crush on Maan and Maan’s care and concern didn’t help but exaggerated that…

Geet started to shout… she was not only scared of Maan but also of herself, she had no control whatsoever and would have surrendered without much resistance if he had wished to take their relationship to the next level….

But he didn’t, because he is the MSK… always dignified being the impeccable gentleman that he is…

Maan tried to shut her mouth and in the process he accidentally fell on her, as she leaned backwards when Maan tried to reach her….

After Maan took his hands off her mouth Geet kept looking at him silently…

Maan would have wanted more but he was not in any hurry… now that he has got the confirmation from Geet too that she is his forever…

Maan got up and kept looking at Geet….

She was still lying on the bed and staring at him…

That was not what Maan wanted, this girl was all set to land him in trouble someway or the other…

Maan: utjao Geet

Geet gets up and sits…

Maan takes a duppatta and covers her with that…

He then took the first aid kit from the drawer to dress her wound…

Geet was always frightened about the burning feeling when the wound is sterilized with hydrogen peroxide…

When Maan came towards her with the bottle she started shouting for help for she didn’t want him to apply it on her wound ..

It’s already burning a lot, Geet can’t imagine what would happen if Maan puts that on it…

That’s when Maan said that dialogue…. If anyone remember….

Maan: chillane se koi faida nahi hai Geet, agar tumne mera madat kiya toh mera kaam asaani se ho jayega aur tumme zyada takleef bhi nahi hoga

Geet: nahi, mujhse nahi hoga, ye apne aap teek ho jayega, aap chodo mujhe

Maan: Geet, chup bilkul chup

Maan carefully dressed her wound and left quietly as Geet had a hard time controlling her feelings….

All the while Geet kept looking at him in awe…

Then came her birthday…

It was just another day for Geet, she has not thought about all this in the last few years…

But she always celebrates with her family in her mind ..

Geet went to college and was not ready to celebrate with her friends like the other girls…

She still missed her parents, her family…

She thought that there was no reason for happiness and joy in her life when the ones who wanted to see her happy were no longer with her…

What was there to celebrate?

It was just another year that passed without her family all alone in this cruel world….

She was rather happy reading her books and staying in the virtual world, she felt safe and secure there, she was happy in her own world where she could meet her parents whenever she wanted to…

She had already celebrated her birthday with her family in her imaginary family like always… that’s enough for her ..

There was no need for any fancy cake there…

They were at Hoshiarpur…

Ranno made her favorite kashmiri pulao…

Maninder got her a bicycle ( sapnon mein bhi eco-friendly hona zaroori hai humare Geet ke liye)…

Darji ka saath hi Geet ke sabse bada tofa hai….

Darji aaj bhi waise hi hai, he never aged?

Infact, no one but only Geet aged in that world….

The others were just the same as they were when they left the real world, their images of that time were imprinted in Geet’s memories forever….

How would she forget them?

Geet has been hurting and feeling lonely ever since she lost her family.

She might have a little intimidated by Maan for some time, but other than that there is nothing very negative in the past conerning him.

The biggest unresolved issue is the loss of the baby.

Everyone took care of Geet but no one understood her loneliness and what she wanted.

and it seem like she was falling hard for him

its her birthday and the sad part is that she celebrates

her birthday thinking her family is with her

and that was enough for her just spending time in her imaginary world

with her family happy

Continuation of the past…

Maan had planned to surprise her, not like any grand celebration, Maan knew Geet better than anyone else…

Maybe a special date in his room with his Mishty after everyone slept…

Then he would pour his heart out and make her realize that she could have a family of her own if only she could see the possibility, if only she could see the reality, that the man in front of her has made her his life, his family and his everything…

Annie had other plans as you know…

Geet went with Annie…

Maan was waiting for her to come back, actually his surprise plan was intact, Maan thought that Geet would come back in time for that..

So Maan didn’t worry much and was preparing himself for the special date…

He wanted to make it memorable for he was going to go away from her for quite a long period of time…

At the party after Annie got the call from her mother, Annie left….

Annie: Geet tum Pinky aur Payal ke saath aajaana, mein Arjun ke saath chalthi hoon

Geet had to agree… it was not her party, it was their party… she decided to stay back, specially for Dev ..

Geet felt happy for Annie for Dev would take good care of Annie in the future, they would make a good pair, Annie likes to be pampered a lot, thanks to her bhai for that bad habit, and here Dev was nothing less than Maan in that matter…

Arjun had suggested that Dev got an expensive gift for Geet and open his heart on her birthday…

Dev got a diamond ring for Geet, it was like a mini proposal… proposal for a date you could say…

After dinner, Payal and Pinky were getting ready to leave..

They look for Geet, she had gone to the restroom and has not returned for a long time…

By then Arjun had returned after leaving Annie at the apartment….

Payal: Arjun, Geet kahan hai? Humme bhi ab jaana chahiye

Arjun: Geet, Dev ke saath chali gayi

Pinky tries to call Geet but her mobile was not reachable …

Arjun: Geet jaane ki zidd kar rahi thi, toh Dev usko lekhe chala gaya, they should be on the way

But Arjun was only helping Dev to get some alone time with Geet… he wanted Dev to get out of his way so that Annie would start seeing his love….

So the girls left…

Geet drank something that made her sick ..

She went to the restroom and puked…

Her dress was spoiled…

Dev who came there asked her to use the room that he was using…

Dev had stayed there for the whole day looking into the arrangements….

Dev took Geet there, he left her there and went to get her something to change…

Meanwhile Geet took a shower and came out…

She lied on the bed as she was not feeling sleepy, she then started dreaming about Maan.. yes, Maan, her DD..

Geet never knew when that Dhuat Danav became her dreamy prince… her Rajkumar..

Though Geet initially got irritated by Maan’s unnecessary interference in her matters, she then realized that she missed her DD’s watchful eyes the most when she was at her Mama’s place…

When she returned she started liking Maan’s concern about her and she secretly admired how he always tried make her forget her worries at least when he was around…

After coming to the Handa House and having spent more time with Maan, Geet had actually fell head over heels in love with him ..

She had started dreaming about him even in the daytime… she had become so desperately in love with him…

She was in her dreamland romancing with Maan when she heard the doorbell….

Geet went and opened the door….

She was pleasantly surprised to see Maan there .. so he had come to wish her at last…

When Maan gave her the ring, Geet was overwhelmed and she right away knew that he had come to propose her ..

But then she had a doubt if it was just a birthday present, she took it from him quietly when the power went off… He moved forward to reach her as he thought she would be frightened…

Geet was embarrassed as she was still in the robes, she stepped backwards and she tripped….

He caught her on time and he carried her to the bed…

He too had lost control of himself when Geet readily offered herself to him…

It was a mutual union, it was her way of showing her love…

Though she was still under the influence of the drug, she knew what was happening and she was really happy with it .. she didn’t even have a second thought…

Then slowly she lost her consciousness….
