Part – 36

Its celebration time at KM…

Annie’s friends are here…

And Pari has also come…

Pari is Maan’s friend Aman’s sister…

Aman and Maan were classmates at the boarding school and Pari too studied there only…

Pari is a year younger to Annie and Geet…

She is Geet’s classmate at Singapore…

Maan let Geet go to Singapore for he knew Pari was also going there…

Pari, Geet’s Singapore buddy, is here….

Geet is happy to see Pari…

Pari is the one who knows Geet better than anyone else, at least the recent Geet…

That Geet who had problems with the MSK always…

Maan was in the US when he learnt about Geet’s wish to join college at NZ….

Geet was searching for an escape from Maan, for he had plans to come back to India then…

But after Geet left to Singapore Maan continued to work in the US for he was not in any hurry to return for Geet is not there….

Geet was determined to go to NZ…

But Maan was not ready to send her someplace, so far, all alone…

Maan knows that she can’t survive on her own even here…

She either needs Annie, or Pinky or Preetho for that matter…

Maan has known her from childhood and she always needs company…

Annie has just finished her course at Singapore and she has come back…

So Geet can’t go there too…

Luckily Aman told Maan that Pari wanted to go to the University where Annie did her course…

Maan immediately called Annie and asked her to persuade Geet to change her decision and make her join her Uni instead….

Annie succeeded in persuading Geet and then Geet got to know Pari for they had to catch the same flight to Singapore…

Pari knows Maan from school itself and Maan was her first crush…..

She still has feelings for Maan…

Maan’s marriage with Geet was a blow for Pari but she was surprised that Geet used her surname Handa only at the Uni… Pari initially thought that Geet might be embarrassed to reveal her marital status….

Geet did know that Pari is Aman’s sister, she has visited KM a few times with Aman…

Geet didn’t like her closeness with Maan then…

Pari openly admires Maan and she is not embarrassed even now to show her affection…

She is a bindas girl with an open heart… she is like an open book unlike our private Geet Handa….

But Maan just saw her as a friend and nothing more than that…

Pari was heart broken hearing the news about Maan’s sudden unannounced wedding with Geet…

She was at college and couldn’t even attend the reception….

Aman sent her photos and she recognized Geet from that photo…

Pari had not known Geet much, as Geet always liked to stay inside her room itself whenever there was some guests at KM….

Geet made friends with Pari easily at college, for she had no other options, she needed a company as always….

Pari seemed to be a nice girl, very talkative and makes friends instantly….

No wonder she is the only girl friend that Maan has as far as Geet knows….

At Singapore, Pari was Geet’s bestie and they stayed together in the same apartment there….

Pari knew that Geet seldom talked with Maan….

And she was surprised when Maan never tried to introduce Geet to her and she only knew from Aman that Geet is also going to be coming with her to Singapore….

But later Pari understood that there was some kind of a cold war going on between them…

Pari didn’t ask Geet much about that for she quickly understood how private Geet was….

Pari tried talking to Maan about it, but Maan only kept inquiring about Geet whenever she called him… she knew that Maan is madly in love with Geet….

Geet shut Pari everytime saying that she is avoiding any distractions, for both Maan and Geet have their own goals and everything else could wait…

Pari thought that Geet being a geek is not understanding Maan’s feelings and she always felt bad for Maan…

But she thought they would be happy together now…

That looks doubtful though…

As usual Maan talked more with Pari than Geet…

Is this tug off war still going on?

Pari has to find out… she is more interested for she could never forget Maan….

Annie is also close to Pari… Annie is happy that Pari is here… she will be here till Annie’s wedding… everyone at KM likes Pari…

Sheetal even had a plan to make her Maan’s partner…

The Raichands are pretty good people, well settled like the Khuranas…

Sheetal personally knows them very well, when they frequently met at the boarding school…

That was also a reason that Sheetal was shocked to hear about Geet’s dramatic wedding with her son…

Geet and the girls are busy applying mehendi…

Pari: Annie, so what’s this Arvind like?

Annie: a male version of Geet I must say

Pari: so both the brother and the sister are interested in boring nerdy people only

Annie: hare, Arvind is a good listener, and Geet has changed a lot

Pari: you should ask your brother about Geet

Annie: you are right, Geet, do you still argue with bhai about Wikipedia facts ?

Pari: luckily I have escaped

Geet: tum donno ko koi aur kaam nahi hai kya?

Geet tries to change the topic…

Pari: Geet, abhi toh tum donno ka goal pura ho gaya na? Ab toh maza aayega, I want to see the sparks, nanath ki shadhi se badiya mokha kahan milega?

Annie: aaisa meine kuch bhi nahi dekha

Pari: meine Maan ko hi nahi dekha, Geet, tumne unko chupaya toh nahi mujhse?

Annie: poor Geet, ye bhai ki purani aadat hai, hamesha kaam mein busy hothe, haina Geet?

Geet: haan, aaj kal kaam ki bahut tension hai

Annie: Geet joined KC, you know

Pari: so that’s why Maan is busy at work, office romance?

Annie: maybe I should have peeped into the office someday ?

Pari: toh, you missed out? Annie, you are no better than your Arvind

Annie: tum yahan apne pyaar ka gyaan dene aayi ho kya?

Pari: what is life without love?

Ye toh Pari ne sahi kaha…

Geet ko bhi ye baat abhi samajh mein aana hai…

Annie: bhai, aap?

Pari turns to look in excitement…

But Geet doesn’t respond….

Ye toh weird hai…

Pari is quick to see that Geet has not changed, and the cold war or whatever it maybe, is still on…

Looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun for Pari, she was waiting for such a chance and it has come her way right away, come on, Pari, you got this .. let’s rock it….

Maan was always looking out for Geet. But she didn't see that because of his high handed behavior.

Pari was crushing on Maan. Hope she will not take advantage of the divide between Maan and Geet.

Pari knows too much about their equation, even if Geet never shared.

What kind of chance is Pari after? Is she trying to help the two or herself?

Interesting update.... amazingly written

so Pari still has crush on Maan

of cos she was heart broken when Maan married Geet

great that Maan saw Pari as a friend

at least she knows Maan is madly in love with Geet

but as she was with Geet in Singapore, she has seen Geet's disinterest in Maan

so Maan was always concerned for Geet

oh so Maan's mom wanted him to marry Pari

well Pari has seen Geet's reaction to Maan's arrival

now she is going try her luck

will Geet be jealous?

Interesting and Fabulous

Pari a friend to the Khurana family

while she also had a crash on Maan

later she found out both Maan and Geet are married

but she realized there is some cold war between the two

I hope soon Geet can just be her old self and both she and Maan

can at least start to be friends again
