New On IF and Intending to start a FanFiction on Maaneet

Hi everyone! I am Dhwani. So, during the Covid 2nd wave, it was completely depressing for me as I lost one of my loved ones. One fine day, I was just researching on soulmates, etc. for one of my projects and that's how I tumbled upon "Till Death do us part", a MG FF by Ritzy09.

That's how I was introduced to IF. Long back I have seen a little bit of the actual serial "Geet hui sabse parayi", I liked it and that's that. But Ritzy's FF hooked me to the story completely and it affected me so much that I went back and started watching Geet again.

I realized that stories are always an essential part of our lives and can have a great impact on the readers. Having our favorite characters in it is the cherry on top. So I decided to channelize all my thoughts, personal experiences and the "What ifs" running in my mind, as a Maaneet FF.

I have written a few parts, but wanted to know if anyone would be interested in reading it, before posting. Also wanted to know if there are any guidelines and permission required to start writing a FF. And the most important question, "Should I start the FF also as a Topic?".

Kindly let me know, if anyone can. Thank you!! Looking forward to explore IF more as a reader and a writer. :-)

So.. the core concept of the story is about the real life of a girl. I am someone who listens to somebody’s experience and cry with them. Her story was the first time I saw it happening in front of me for real. And I wanted to talk about her.

So this story will have a very strong female lead, who doesn’t fear to do the right thing when needed and still tries not to hurt anyone intentionally. This female lead has her own baggage of struggles, insecurities, fights and victories. She will be that girl, who will act and react in ways that many a times we all girls want to, but don’t.

The male lead is a complete imagination of my “what if”. What if there exists a guy who doesn’t get threatened by an independent woman. What If he is supportive in ways unimaginable.

so yeah.. this is the basic idea and there are a lot of characters involved to make the story fun, emotional and adventurous.
