That night…
Geet is lying with her head resting on Maan’s arms as he runs his hand through her hair…
Geet: Maan, ek sawaal poochoon ?
Maan: phir se?
Maan gets naughty…
Geet: Maan, mein aapse kab se poochne ki koshish kar rahi thi
Geet is serious, she wanted to ask this but didn’t have the courage, everytime she tried and ended up asking him how much he loved her instead…
But now she feels like she has gained her place in Maan’s life and she has the rights to know everything…
Maan: kya baat hai Geet? Maan is worried that she would be asking about Mansi again…
Geet: aap nahi chate toh aap tnahi bathao, mujhe koi problem nahi hai, par agar aap chate toh aap mujhe batha sakte ho
Maan: Aaise kaunsi baat hai jo tumme pareshaan kar rahi hai?
Geet: Woh, Sameera didi aapko kaise chodke gayi?
Maan is silent for a moment…
Geet feels like she has made a blunder… everything was going great… abhi usko Maan ki adeet ko yaad dilana tha kya?
But Dadima too didn’t have any proper idea of what happened..
Poor dadi was stuck in the house while everything happened..
Maan shut himself up and has never shared his pain with dadi or anyone else…
Geet feels that he is unnecessarily burdening himself by keeping it within, he should get it out of his system once for all and know that his life is not the same, he has a new friend in Geet, with whom he should be able to share not only his happiness but also his sorrows… when Maan is ready to move on and start afresh for her sake, he must also realize that she is not here to be just a part of his future, but she is here to accept him along with his past, she needs to know what he went through in order to help lessen his pain …
Geet hugs him tight….
Geet: aap sojao Maan, mein ne bhi kamakaam aapko pareshaan kiya
Maan: tum Sameera ke barein mein kya jaanthi ho Geet?
Geet didn’t expect such a question from Maan…
Geet: I’ve only seen her pictures, she is beautiful, aap ko unki bahut yaad aathi hogi
Maan is lost in his thoughts…
Geet wants him to get over those memories that is haunting him by sharing it with her… it must be painful for the moment but he will be much more relieved later…
Geet: no one can believe that she is gone so early, aaisa kya hua?
Maan: mujhe bhi patha nahi ye sab kaise hua aur kyun hua, meine sapne bhi nahi socha tha ki woh aaise hum dono ko chodke jaayegi
Geet: unko pehle hi koi problem thi kya? Koi kamzori?
Maan: she was always active and happy throughout the pregnancy, actually I was the one little worried about the delivery, she was so confident and clear that she would have a easy normal delivery like her sister
Maan pauses and thinks about the past…
Geet: phir kya hua?
Maan: it was a month before the due date that she complained about little discomfort, I was right there with her all the time, we went to the hospital, by then she was all fine, the doctor said that it must a false pain and we stayed back to be sure that she is fine, all of a sudden her water broke and she was rushed to the theatre, the baby was delivered by C-section, they showed Mansi to me and said that I can see Sam in a couple of hours as she is still unconscious, then there was panic and the doctors rushed to her help, they said she had a cardiac arrest, no one knew why, she died without having a word with me, not even seeing our daughter, I don’t even know if she knew that we have a daughter
Geet: she will know now, aap fikar mat karo, woh hamesha hummare saath rehke Mansi ki raksha karegi, aap dekho, Mansi kaise jaldhi hummare paas aayegi aur aap ko didi ko yaad karne ki moka hi nahi degi, aap ko lagega ki didi aapke saath hai
Maan: aur tum bhi haina ab mujhe sambalne ke liye
Geet is happy that she could be a small reason for his happiness…
Geet: mein kabhi aapko chodke nahi jaaoongi, ab toh babaji se mere ek hi vinathi hai, ab hummare pariwar ko hamesha surakshit rake
Maan: babaji ko patha hai ki mujhe teri zaroorat hai, issiliye tumme mere paas bheja hai Geet
Geet: aap sab kuch babaji ke upar chod dijiye, unko patha hai ki humme kab kiski zaroorat padegi
Maan: mujhe toh tumse milne ke badh hi zindagi pe dubara viswas hone lagi hai Geet, ab mein tummare aur Mansi ke zindagi mein koi aanch nahi lagne dhoonga
Geet: mein bas aapko kush dekhna chahti hoon Maan, hamesha, aur uske liye mein kuch bhi kar sakti
Maan: tum saath ho toh mujhe kushi ki koi kammi nahi hai Geet
Geet: aap ne bhura toh nahi laga na mujhse ye baat karke
Geet is still skeptical about what Maan might think about it…
Maan: waise tumme mere zindagi ke barein mein sab kuch jaanne ka pura haq hai Geet, mujhe kushi hai ki tumne mujhe poocha, mein bhi kissi aur ke saath ye baat share nahi kar sakta, haina?
Geet: hmm, I know Maan, issiliye mein kab se aapse poochne ki koshish kar rahi thi, par achanak aapse poocg nahi sakti thi
Maan: tum mujhse kuch bhi pooch sakti ho Geet, tumme aaise koi bhi dikkat nahi hona chahiye, tum meri patni ho
Geet: I love you Maan
Maan: I love you more Geet
Maan starts kissing her, maahiiiii….
Geet is happy that Maan has started talking to her openly about the past…
But still he doesn’t tell anything about that Tara…
Geet thought that she will get to know more about that Tara from the past story..
But Maan just stopped at the passing of Sameera and didn’t talk about how Tara took Mansi with her and why is Maan not able to get her back as and when he wishes, why is he waiting for that Tara’s permission?
Who is she to have a say in Mansi’s life, let alone Maan’s life?
Mansi is his daughter, he only has all the rights over her…
Geet wants to know more about the current situation…
Why is Maan afraid of that Tara? Why is he not ready to openly acknowledge their marriage?
He has kept it a secret to Tara, but Geet did tell her about the wedding, Geet did tell her that Maan was forced to marry her though…
Does Maan know that Tara knows about the wedding?
Tara believes that Geet has seperated from Maan, Maan thinks that Tara has no idea about the wedding… .
Geet should talk to Maan about this… but she is scared for Maan looses his temper whenever he hears Tara’s name….
He is already pissed off that Geet met Tara behind his back… now if Geet tells that she told Tara about the wedding then Maan would never trust Geet in the future in any matter…
Geet is only concerned about getting Mansi back either by hook or crook..
Geet is now aware of the real tricky situation that Maan is in and she is little unhappy that Maan still doesn’t believe that she could be his strength, he thinks that accepting her in his life could take away his daughter from him…
That’s understandable for no father would give up his daughter for anyone else, haina?
