Maan n geet ignore each other.. Finally he decides to end the awkwardness before things go out of hands. ..

She forces him to speak...

Finally he reveals his feelings but the idiot she is doesn't understand it..

But it's good to see that she at least understood that he is hurt n doesn't want to hurt him more.

Part – 67

That evening…..

Geet gets ready and goes to the mandap with the Sharmas while Maan decides to skip it…

Maan goes out and comes back very late…

Geet has slept as she is too tired…..

Maan is not even interested in looking at his sleeping beauty like before… .

Maan has safely locked his heart back inside the iron box like before…..

He is not ready to take any risk…. Having tried his luck at a normal life has only given him pain and regret… he is better of being that MSK, the giver, the care taker of his family…

He is cursed not to be at the receiving end in his lifetime…

Maan wants to be a giver and strongly believes that only the incapable and weak end up at the receiving end… he never likes to be at the receiving end…

That is ok for any other thing but love, Maan slipped a bit and expected to receive something back in return for hie pure love once in his lifetime and he is denied on his face leaving him shattered completely… .now he has nothing to give for her….

Maan finally falls asleep after deciding to accept defeat at the hands of this girl with a golden heart but who has lost it even before knowing it’s value….

How can he blame her for she herself believes that her heart is not with her but with someone else…

Maan can’t demand her something that she doesn’t possess…

Maan has to accept the reality and stop hurting the bith of them… for that he has to slowly learn to end this bonding, whatever it may be with Geet….

Next morning Maan goes to pick up Raksha from Chandigarh….

Maan has left even before Geet wakes….

Geet gets ready and goes down to meet Rohini…

Rohini has made aloo paratha specially for Geet… it’s Geet’s favourite….

Geet keeps looking for Maan… has he gone back to Delhi without her?

He could do anything in his present state of mind….

Rohini understands that Geet is missing Maan…

Rohini is surprised that Maan didn’t inform anything to Geet…

Rohini: Geet, tum Maan ko dhoondh rahe ho?

Geet: nahi

Rohini: he has gone to bring Raksha

Geet: hmm, I know, I just forgot

Rohini is happy to see Geet not letting down Maan smartly…

Maan and Raksha come back in the evening…

Raksha is hanging out with Maan all the time and Geet just keeps watching Maan from a distance….

Maan thinks that he needs this break….

And the four of them start talking about the past and Geet is reduced to a mere audience…

Maan is really comfortable with Raksha… she is just a year or two younger to him and is a divorcee..

She married a foreigner against her parents wish and ended up divorcing him within months…. .

But much like Maan, she too looks much younger for her age and keeps herself fit…

That’s a good thing… moreover she is happy with her life and doesn’t seem to be remotely regretful about her earlier marriage decision or its failure… she lives life on her own terms…

Geet likes her attitude and her courage to own her decisions, most importantly she is ready to accept the fact that she did make a wrong choice and she is unapologetic about her choice but is also brave enough to ditch it when it went wrong… that’s life, it’s a trial and end process, it’s not like successful people never make mistakes, it’s just that people who learn from their mistakes are only successful….

Maan was the preferred choice of her parents but Maan denied saying that he has no such interests in Raksha…

Geet is surprised how Maan is surrounded by divorcees…

All are potential matches for him…

Maan would have had a lovely family had he married in time…

But no, Maan has to wait for his Geet, and the wait seems never ending….

Geet feels like someone is trying to take her place, it’s all good that Raksha is Maan’s childhood friend and bestie, but Geet is his present friend, haina?

Raksha might have known Maan for years but where was she all these years?

Geet is the one who is with Maan 24*7 for the past three months…

And within the short period, Geet knows everything about Maan, that’s what she thinks, and most probably Maan knows everything about Geet, even more than her very own family….

Geet seems to be more possessive about her friendship with Maan than her so called true love….

What’s wrong if Geet values this friendship more than her other relationships?

After all not everyone is lucky enough to get the right life partner, but all are entitled to one genuine relationship,bit can be with a brother, a sister, an uncle, an aunty or anybody else for that matter… And found a such a rare bonding with Maan… and she is not ready to give up whatever she has….

At dinner…. .

Geet helps Rohini in making the dinner, Aswin takes charge of the tandoor as he is the tandoori master… they make authentic punjabhi naan and tandoori chicken…

Geet is happy that Aswin is the master chef for he is a shudh Desi, who loves his butter unlike the others who ruin the whole maza of eating food in the name of a healthy diet…

Agar desi khana hai toh usse desi ghee ke saath hi khao warna mat hi kao, haina?

Raksha aur Maan refresh hokke aathe hai…

Rohini: Geet, jao Maan ko bhulake aao

Geet goes to call Maan…

Geet knocks…

Maan: darwaza khula hai

Maan thinks she must have come to take her stuff…

Geet doesn’t feel like going in and she shouts… .

Geet: khana tayaar hai

It’s as if she is saying that it’s dinner time, khana hai toh khalo, I don’t care much…

Maan goes and opens the door but she has left…

Maan doesn’t want to go… he stays in the room itself…

Maan have taken right decision if his love not interested in him so y hurting him self in wait fr her closing door fr love is better

But its really painful decision seeing his love daily and knowing she never b his

Geet value her friendship with maan than her relation with dev and Raksha showing authority on maan and their frankness making geet disturb so she trying to show maan she too didn't care by calling him this way fr dinner

I am feeling really sorry for maan

& annoyed by geet’s ignorance

On one hand she is fairly intelligent but on the other side she is so stupid

Again geet feeling jealous of raksha & others spending time with maan

When will she realize that she has fallen in love with him ...... this is more than friendship

When will her tube light turn on ???

Interesting Update

Maan has decided once again that he has been defeated by Geet

but I find Geet's behavior strange even if she thinks or considers herself

and Maan to be friends , she has never acted or portrayed any thing

that would say they are friends

and now she feels Ruchika is taking her place , surely there is something wrong with Geet

Part – 68

Its all set… Geet can smell the aroma of the delicious food and she can’t wait to dig in…

Pipping hot butter naan is ready, everyone is here except Maan…

Raksha: ye Maan kahan hai?

Rohini looks at Geet… .

Geet: I told him

Raksha: I’ll go get him

Raksha makes a quick wrap with the naan and tandoori chicken… it’s easy that way, she is used to eating like that..

She takes a bite…

Raksha: dad, 7 stars for this, too good

Rohini: what? I made them

Aswin: yes yes, she only feeds the chicken daily, haina homemade organic Rohini chicken?

Geet laughs… : uncle just transformed it into this mouthwatering dish with his magic

Raksha: I like it Geet, dad at last you found a cheer leader

Raksha grabs the wrap and goes to call Maan…

Geet is actually missing this kind of food at KM…

She is enjoying her food…

In a moment Maan comes with Raksha, he is sharing the wrap from Raksha’s hand… .

Maan: hmm, super delicious uncle, you should open a restaurant

Rohini: Maan, I have come to enjoy my retirement, don’t you dare put those unwanted ideas into his stupid mind

Maan: but these are genuinely good, uncle can enjoy his retirement by doing what he enjoys doing

Raksha: you don’t know Maan, he will convert it into a langar

Rohini: we know him better, he has to learn to value hard earned money even if it’s his

Maan: that’s true, I think you will make a better business woman aunty

Rohini: koi shak, everyone knows whi is the better Sharma

Aswin: the Lady always takes the credit in the end, bhagwan, agle janam mein mujhe aurat banadho

Raksha: he is fed up with always being the minority in the family

Maan has noticed that though Geet pretends to ignore… .

Maan didn’t miss her staring him as he took that bite from Raksha’s hand…

Geet is only watching him and Raksha with her big eyes….

Rohini: why? She is such a darling, I wish I had a daughter like her

Raksha: halo what about me? Am I adopted?

Rohini: subh subh bolo, iss ladhki ko toh muh mein tala lagana padega, darling you are in India

Raksha: but I’m always Raksha

Maan: that’s what I like about you

Geet is burning….

Raksha: but seriously Maan, you were all like you are going to be a saint forever at that time, what happened now? I was desperately looking forward to marrying you this time, I actually agreed to come back for that only

Raksha is holding Maan’s hand as she looks at him and talks…

Geet doesn’t like anything she is hearing…

Maan just doesn’t react…

He can’t say he is more happy now… it might have been better if he remained single…

Raksha: but I like Geet, so I forgive you

Looking at Geet, Maan thinks he should change the topic…

Maan: what about you? Do you like the idea of settling here?

Raksha: oh I just got to know that Geet is your business partner, I am eager to see her work

Rohini: we are going to Geet’s Nana’s place tomorrow, are you coming?

Raksha: why not? Maan, you are coming na?

Maan: haan

Raksha: Then I will also be coming

Geet is fuming already looking at Maan…

Maan thinks it’s better to keep quiet…

After dinner Raksha takes Maan for a walk…

Geet talks with uncle for a while and goes to the room…

She is thinking about what those do must be doing out there….

She finds it hard to kill every minute… every second looks like a minute..

Geet keeps watching the time and the door alternately…

But neither the clock seem to be ticking nor there is any sign of Maan…

Its almost eleven.. what are they taking about at this hour?

Raksha has loads of stuff to share with Maan…

Geet doesn’t bother about anything, she wants Maan to come back immediately…

Geet is waiting all night… she is so frustrated… she keeps walking to the balcony and looking down to find Maan…

They have gone far… Geet walks up and down the stairs as if she wants to go fetch Maan by grabbing his shirt…

She then gets restless… she tries to sleep but how could she?

She hears footstep and gets out of bed to look at the door…

Its Maan only…

Maan is not surprised to see her awake… he knows she can’t sleep while he was with Raksha…

The lights are still on and Geet stares Maan as if he has committed a crime…

Maan tries to ignore her as he has decided to stay away from further mess, he switches off the lights and goes to the couch….

Geet keeps sitting and watching him for a while before she goes back to sleep…

Maan can sense the hotness of her angry red eyes hitting him…

Maan pretends to be sleeping to escape….

Nice update. Maan got a diversion from Geet thoughts thru Raksha. Geet doesn't seem to like it.
