Next morning, getting some disturbance in his sleep, Maan woke up and adjusting his eyes in sun light, he slowly opened his eyes and saw Geet was present in the room. He saw her, brushing her hair - for a moment, he was mesmerized by her simple look. He wondered why he never noticed her before, she used to look same before also. Maan's chain of thoughts breaks when he saw her applying Sindoor on her hair partition. He reminisced how harsh he was with her after their marriage, he even refused her as his wife but still she's doing all her duties as a wife. After preparing well, Geet left the room when Maan gets up and sat on the bed thinking, "Geet has now all the qualities which I always wished to see in my partner. Should.. Should I give a chance to this marriage..?!" But in next moment, he shrugged away the thought saying, "No.. No.. What are you thinking all this Maan..! You can't be so selfish." He ruffled his hair to distract himself from her thought.

After getting freshen up, Maan walked down and saw the entire family was sitting in the hall, he scanned the hall and spotted Geet with his family - he was dumbstruck seeing her smiling openly. 24hours passed, he returned and finally he's seeing her freely smiling.

"Arey bhai come.." As Dev called him, he noticed Geet's expression changed. "Is my presence making her discomfort.?!" He wondered while coming to the sofa when he heard Geet telling, "Dadi, will you have some coffee or tea.?"

Maan understood, she's making some excuses to avoid him but thanks to Dev who stopped her saying, "I'll ask the servant, you take a seat here." He then turned at Maan telling, "Come bhai.. We're discussing about Annu's wedding. See..! Geet gave us some ideas about the theme wedding."

"Dev.. Chotey papa.. I think, we can hire some event organizers to arrange everything, I want the wedding to be grand." Maan suggested.

"Not a bad idea..! But when we have an organizer in our house, then why would we hire someone from outside..?" Param chuckled while saying which made Maan confuse, seeing him giving weird expression, Dev cleared the fact saying, "Oh, bhai.. You don't know but Geet is running her own event company."

Maan's eyes almost popped out hearing that, he looked at Geet who just smiled at him. "Really..?" He was still in shock as which Geet, he knew.. was supposed to get scared while talking to an outsider and now this Geet who is handling her business - both are completely different. That's something really new which Maan got to know about her but he liked the changes in her.

"In these two years, she even finished her fashion designer course and recently designing cloths for new coming brands." Dev said while Maan just amazingly looking at Geet and thinking his own behaviours towards her, she don't deserve this now.

"Chotey papa.. Please confirm the engagement date with Raichand's and inform me then I will start preparing accordingly." Geet said while wrapping up her documents from the table.

"Sure beta..!" Smiling to them, Geet left from there while Maan followed her.

Geet walked in the study room and placed the documents when she heard him saying, "You never told me that you have interest in fashion designing."

"What's there to tell you Maan..? And more importantly, I never thought that I needed to do all this, so I never told you about it." She turned at him smiling and was going to leave when her feet stumbled and she fall on him, with a sudden jerk on his body, Maan moved few steps back but giving support on a table, he prevented himself from falling while his another hand protectively wrapping around Geet's waist. Maan lost himself in her eyes - his heart beats faster than usual in her proximity and they shared an intense eye lock but again Geet was the one who moved back from him mouthing, "Sorry." And avoiding his gaze on her, she left the room while Maan stood there placing his palm on his chest to bring his heart beat back to normal.

After having lunch with his family, Maan was sitting idle as Dev went for his painting exhibition while Prateek went with his friends and Geet.. She also left for her work.. Though her presence or absence doesn't matter to him. Maan was searching for something in wardrobe when a diary fall on the floor. He received it and read the cover 'My feelings'. He opened the diary and found his childhood picture with Geet - he smiled remembering those memories and about to place the picture inside the diary when he saw another quote behind the photo 'Best Friend Forever'.

"Best friend..?" He wondered as he never thought Geet as his best friend, she was a good friend to him and even Geet never told him the same. He remembered they used to fight a lot in their childhood. Maan's curiosity grown up about the diary. Though he knew that's not good manner to read someone's personal diary but he then thought, "She's my wife.. So it won't be any crime if I get to know her secrets."

Maan turned the page, ' Hey dear diary.. Myself Geet, your new friend. You must be thinking, why did I suddenly call you my friend.. Right..? Actually today my best friend left me alone and went to Cambridge. So, I left alone here and to share my thoughts, feelings, I need a friend. That's why I want to make you my friend. :) '

"London..! After schooling, I went to Cambridge for further studies. Oh..! From then Geet started writing." He smiled finding a new hobby of her.

He turned the page again and read ' Today I saw a white toned girl (British) with my Maan on social media, feeling like....' But before Maan read further his phone rang.

"Wrong time." He cursed her caller mentally for calling in bad time, placing the diary in her cupboard, he went to attend the call.

After he returned in the room, he saw Geet doing something with her diary, seeing him coming, she simply glared at him. "Why are you staring at me? I know, I look handsome but that doesn't mean you would check me out." He smirked teasing her.

For a moment, Geet felt happy that he's teasing her like he used to do before but she can't forget the fact about their marriage. "Please stop dreaming. I am not checking you out." She said composing herself. "Why did you touch my diary?" She asked direct.

"Diary? What diary..?" He behaved normal as if he don't know anything.

"Don't lie to me Maan. I know well about your habits, you've habits to see things secretly. Don't you remember, when we were in school, you were copying your homework from my copies secretly. Now tell me, you opened my side of the wardrobe and read this diary. Right?" She said showing him the diary.

"Diary? What diary.. Show me..!" He snatched it from her hand and about to open it when Geet snatched back. "I know, you found it before."

"How can you be so sure about that..? Did you see me?" Maan asked though, while asking his heart was in his hand as he knew what reaction he would be getting if Maan caught him.

"No.. I didn't see you but the diary wasn't at it's place where I kept before." She said glaring at him.

Maan bit his lips and pretend to be normal saying, "So..? That doesn't mean I touched it. May be you forgot after keeping it there." He said confident.

Geet still not convinced and staring at him doubtful when Maan said, "What will I do with your diary when I don't have interest in you then how come you think I have interest in your stuffs..?" Maan's words pierced in her heart.

"Yeah, you're right. I am sorry." Apologizing to him, she left with the diary when Maan sighed but he knew that wasn't a good way to escape from the situation and he again hurt her. But he liked that she still kept their memories with her after all he had done with her.

"Not today but one day I will surely read your diary." He smiled.

"God knows.. Where's she gone..!" Gayatri was anxiously waiting for Geet and trying her number continuously.

"Puttar.. Why are you looking so worried..?" Dadi asked seeing Gayatri walking to and fro in the hall.

"See.. Your ladli bahu isn't receiving my phone calls since evening." Gayatri said sighing as well as worried.

"Why..? Where's she gone?"

"She told me that she has a meeting with her clients, so she went to the office. Now it's almost 10 at night, she didn't show up yet. She never took so long time. I hope everything is fine with her." Gayatri said worried and prayed for her safety.

"Yes.. Don't worry, she will be fine. Did you call in the office?" Dadi asked.

"Yes. The receptionist said, the meeting was over at 9pm.. And Geet left the office around 9:30pm.." Gayatri replied still trying her number.

Now, Dadi also gets worried for her. "Then by now she should return. Call her again." Nodding at Dadi, Gayatri again called her but this time she found her phone switched off.

"Oh God mummyji.. I am telling you something wrong happened." Her eyes got moist in worry. "I.. I think, I should inform Maan. Now only he can find her." Saying this, she was going to leave when Prateek and Dev came there and seeing Dadi and Gayatri worried, Dev asked, "What happened ma?"

"Dev... Geet..." And Gayatri explained them everything.

"... And you're informing me now.." Dev yelled in worry but controlling his anger, he assured, "Don't worry, I am going to find her." Saying this, he was going to leave when he heard Maan calling him.

He stopped, Maan asked, "Where are you going on this time?"

"Bhai, I think Geet isn't married to your family that you're roaming around so freely without any responsibility." As usual, Dev's patchy words went over his head.

"Tell me straight Dev." Maan said stern.

"Bhaiya, Geet bhabhi hasn't arrive yet. We're going to search for her." Prateek said worried.

"What..!" He moaned while checking the watch, which is near 10:30pm. Without wasting time, Dev immediately left in her search while Gayatri told everything to Maan.

"Don't worry mom. She will be safe. Prateek take care of them." Saying this, Maan left Khurana Mansion making phone call to someone.

Dev and Maan searched for her individually. Dev checked every possible place where she can go..! While Maan checked her office and then searching her on the roads. "Where's she gone.." He banged his fist on the steering worried when suddenly he got a call.

"Yes Adi, did you get to know anything?"

"Sir, as you asked me.. I traced her mobile, it's last location showing near to the highway." Aditya informed.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes sir.." Disconnecting the call, Maan drive away while on his way, he informed Dev to reach at the spot. Taking short cuts, Maan reached there, he was passing by a car when suddenly something caught his eyes, he moved back and saw the car hit the tree badly, his eyes fall on the number plate and he gets shock. "Geet..!" He could only able to mouth her name on that time.

Maan immediately ran to her car and spotted Geet inside the car injured badly. He made her sit properly on the seat while tapping on her cheek, "Geet.. Geet.." But he didn't get any response, he saw her head was bleed badly. Without wasting time, he scooped her in his arms and headed to his car when Dev reached there. Seeing Geet injured, he helped Maan to make her settle inside the car and they immediately left for hospital in their respective cars.

Lovely update so maan is discovering more about geet...she is running a business by herself he was surprised to see daily her new sides geet was constantly avoiding maan...he was alone at home..there he spotted geet's diary...which had all her feelings for him but there was call and he couldn't read the diary...it's 10.30pm and geet is not at home maan and dev searched for her but maan spotted geet's car being in accident... hopefully geet should be fine waiting to read more ❤️ 😘
