A wonderful prologue to another great story in the making. I felt very touched by the prologue because its so so true...No matter at which generation we are...we girls are always at the mercy of others...from parents & elders of the family...to societal rules & norms to the family that girls get married into...The life of a girl is never hers to live as she wishes...She is always imposed on...And her life is always run by others...That should never be the case. Girls should grow strong & independant mentally, & emotionally...They should be brave enough to stand up against people and problems to safeguard themselves, for their happiness, for their rights.

Looking at the prologue I am very eager to see how the Kathputli is going to win over and melt the dominant:):):) Excited and waiting dearie:):)
