ALL THE NAMES & PLACES ARE FICTITIOUS (if any resemblance to persons & places is purely coincidental). Any royal titles, RELIGIOUS STORIES AND TERMS; MEDICAL PROCEDURES, MEDICAL TERMS, MILITARY PROCEDURES, MILITARY TERMS, Punjabi terms, architectural terms, IT terms & programs, office hierachy, wedding rituals, etc. are from my imagination hence THEY ARE NOT TRUE. I'M NEITHER ENDORSING NOR ENCOURAGING ANY NEGATIVE BEHAVIOUR & CRIME TOWARDS CHILDREN. Its just a "fictional" story for entertainment purposes! PLEASE READ KEEPING IN MIND THAT THIS STORY IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT & DRAMA IS PART OF IT !!!!! If you don't agree with the concept of the story as well as my point of view (POV) of story presentation, kindly DO NOT READ THIS STORY!

TWO HOURS LATER
Everyone had finished dinner with relish. Panditji had also gone home happy after getting to eat 'gujiya'. Vaidehi, Geet and Nakul were busy serving dinner to impatient and irritable Thakur Harshvardhan, hence Geet did not have time to ask Nakul how he managed to make gujiya so soon. After dinner everyone was busy discussing about Meera and Vicky's wedding preparation whereas Geet was busy with Nakul and Lalitha (house maid) clearing the room. Geet was on her way out of kitchen after finishing her work and was walking toward the living room all alone when she was pulled by her arm into a secluded corner. Before she could scream a strong but gentle muscular hand covered her mouth. Geet was about to use her Karate moves but when she heard strict male voice saying, "CHUP EK DUM CHUP!" (SILENCE ! NOT A WORD!)
Geet stopped struggling.
"Yeh aap kya kar rahe hain?" (What are you doing?) Geet whispered in alarm when Maan swung her in his arms and carried her away.
"Agar tum chahti ho ki koi tamasha naa ho aur hum dono ke parivaar ko patta naa chale ki tum kahaan ho toh chup-chaap mere saath chalo!" (If you want that there should be no scene, and our families don't know about where we are, then comw with me quitely!) On reaching his room, Maan dropped Geet gently on his bed and went to lock his bedroom door whereas Geet quickly scrambled out of the bed.
"Suniye jo aap kar rahe hain woh theek nahi hai. Agar hum dono ko Daarji yaa Nanaji ne ek saath ek kamre mein dekh liya toh bahut badi samasya ho jaayegi. Please hummein jaane dijiye." (Listen its not correct what you are doing. If Daarji or Nanaji see both of us in one room, there will be lot of problems. Please let me go.)
"Theek hai mai tumhein jaane doonga magar jab meri baat poori ho jaaye tabh." (Alright I'll let you leave but only when our conversation is over.)
"Aap kya kehna chahte hain?" (What do you want to talk about?)
"Yeh 'Gayatri Singh' ka dhong kyun?" (What is this charade of 'Gayatri Singh'?)
"Kyunki hum nahi chahte the ki Khurana Constructions mein hummein naukari iss liye mile kyunki hum Thakur Vidyasagar ki naatin hain. Hum apne bal-boote par naukari paana chahte the." (Because I didn't want anyone in Khurana Constructions to know my true identity i.e.I'm Thakur Vidyasagar's grand daughter. I also wanted the job on my own merit.)
"Mujhe toh batta sakteen theen?" (You could have at least told me?)
"Kyun?" (Why?)
"Kyunki Geet tum meri ho sirf meri. Aur chaudah saal pehle yeh "haq" samaaj aur tumne mujhe diya thaa. Iss liye tumhare baare mein mujhe jaan ne ka poora "haq" hai." (Because you are mine, only mine. This right had been given me 14yrs. back by you and society. Hence, I have full right to know everything about you.)
"Aap bhool rahe hain ki tabh hum masoom bacche the magar abb nahi." (You are forgetting we were innocent and immature children 14 yrs. back but not now.)
"How does it matter? Humari feeling jo tabh theen abb bhi wohi hain." (How does it matter? Our feelings are still the same what they were 14yrs. back.)
"Aap nahi jaante ke tabh mein aur abb mein bahut faraq ho gaya hai. Tabh jo hua thaa abb usse naa toh samaaj, naa parivaar aur naa hi kanoon maanega. Iss liye jo aap chahte hain woh kabhi nahi ho sakta." (You don't know what all has changed from that time until now. Anyway whatever happened at that time neither the family, nor society and law will accept. Hence, I cannot fulfill your wishes.) Geet said with tears running down her eyes.
"Aisa kya ho gaya hai mere peeche ki tum itna badal gayeen?" (What major thing has happened in my absence that you have changed so much?)
"Abb hum aapke layak nahi hain, hum abb "apavitr" hain. Iss liye aapke Daarji bhi iss rishte ke liye kabhi bhi ijazzat nahi denge. Yadi aap hummein ek bachpan ki dost ki tehre apna sakte hain toh theek hai warna hummein aap...se...dur...jaa...na...ho...ga..." (I'm no longer worthy of you, I'm now "impure"! Hence, Daarji will never give permission or approval for this relationship. If you can accept me as a childhood friend fine otherwise I'll...have...to...go...far...fr..om...you)
Geet said becoming hysterical ran towards Maan's room balcony then climbed over the parapet joining both homes and left.
Next morning again Maan was awake before the rest of household not that he slept the whole night anyway. Geet's words kept haunting him,"Hum aapke layak nahi hain hum abb "apavitr" hain." (I'm no longer worthy of you, I'm now "impure"!)
"Hum aapke layak nahi hain hum abb"apavitr" hain." (I'm no longer worthy of you, I'm now "impure"!)
"Hum aapke layak nahi hain hum abb "apavitr" hain." (I'm no longer worthy of you, I'm now "impure"!)
"Hum aapke layak nahi hain hum abb "apavitr" hain." (I'm no longer worthy of you, I'm now "impure"!)
Maan was confused that what had happened to his Mishty in his absence when he felt a warm hand on his shoulder. He turned to see his mother. "Beta, kya hua? Itni jaldi utth gaye?" (What is wrong my son? How come you are awake so early?)
"Maa, 'jet lag' ki wajeh se mujhe needh nahi aayee." (Maa, its due to 'jet lag' that I couldn't sleep any longer.) Maan said staring at a point in far distance.
"Maan yeh needh naa aana 'jet lag' ki wajeh se nahi kissi aur wajeh se hai. Battao beta kya pareshaani hai?" (Maan, your being unable to sleep is not because of 'jet lag' but because something else is worrying you. What is the problem, my dear?) Vaidehi said rubbing Maan's back encouragingly.
"Maa, mere peeche Geet ke saath kya hua?" (Maa, what happened to Geet in my absence?) Vaidehi became quite. "Maa, mai sach jaanna chahta hoon. Aapko meri kasam." (Maa, I want to know the full truth. Swear on me and tell me the complete truth.) Maan put Vaidehi's right hand on his head. Unable to hide any longer, Vaidehi slowly narrated about Geet's past and Dev Singh Rathore's disgusting behaviour. After sometime Maan asked, "Does anyone blame Geet for this incident?" Seeing Vaidehi confused, Maan rephrased his sentence, "Kya Daarji yaa Geet ke Nanaji usse iss hadse ke liye doshi maante hain?" (Do Daarji or Geet's Nanaji in some way blame Geet for this incident?)
"Tumhei aisa kyun laga beta?" (Why do you feel so?)
"Kyunki Geet ne mujhse kahaa ki woh "apavitr" hai. Aur jab yeh hadsa hua, woh bahut choti thee difference karne ke liye ki "pavitr" kisko kehte hain aur "apavitr" kisko!" (Because Geet said that she is "impure". The time when this incident happened she was too young to understand the meaning as well as the difference between being "pure" and "impure"!)
Before Vaidehi could answer Maan, Thakur Harshvardhan and Savitri Devi came near Vaidehi and Maan.
