"Why won't you tell us anything?" Meera frowned looking between Maan and Geet.

"Because like we said, it's a surprise. Leave it to us" Geet replied.

"That's not fair bro, we deserve to have some sort of clue" Vikrant crossed his arms.

"Speak to Geet, she knows everything" Maan answered not looking up from his phone.

"You're planning everything then?" Meera asked.

"All you have to do is be there"

"I bet we're going to have the Disney characters or something" Meera huffed.

"I'm not a baby" Geet scowled.

"Ek baat bata" Amelia looked at her confused. "You don't know how to shop for yourself, so how are you going to shop for them?"

"I'm glad Karan hasn't asked you out" Geet narrowed her eyes evilly.

"Babe I'm happy I ain't dating him" Amelia tossed.

"Not dating who?" Araina questioned as she walked over joining them, Karan trailed behind slowly looking mildly curious.

"Nothing" Amelia shook her head. "Anyways what brings you lot here? Aren't you meant to be coming tonight"

"It's so bloody boring at home" Araina replied. "Anyways are you keeping vrat?"

"As if" Amelia chuckled. "No man is worth starving for"

"That's good, mama said I should start practising" Araina rolled her eyes. "Meera, you?"

"Yes unfortunately" Meera sighed.

"Excuse me?" Vikrant scowled in disappointment.

"What?" Meera chuckled. "I'm starving, I'm allowed to say anything and it's true though, I don't see you keeping fast for me"

"Who said I'm not?" Vikrant tossed.

"You're fasting?" Geet quizzed curiously.

Maan and Karan looked at him raising their brows.

"Yeah I am" he answered proudly and looked at Meera who stared just as shocked.

"Really?" she questioned again.

"Yes Meers" he chuckled. "I love you"

"I think I love you even more now" she murmured.

Vikrant chuckled pulling her close and pressed a kiss to her cheek.

"You both need to learn something" Araina commented looking between Maan and Karan.

"You should tell your boyfriend Romeo" Karan countered.

"Asshole, his name is Ranbir"

"You and Ranbir?" Geet looked at Araina.

"No Bhabhi, we're friends. Karan bhai is just jealous because Amelia is ignoring him"

Karan nudged Araina, Amelia snickered looking away.

"You f**king bitch!"

"Mama!" Araina yelled.

"I hate it when you both come here just to fight. You should've stayed home" Vikrant huffed.

"What did you just say?" Karan scowled.

Geet nudged Maan gesturing to them all bickering, whilst he looked at her questioningly.

"You're sat here tapping away, can't you see your brothers and sisters are arguing away?" she muttered.

Maan looked at them then turned to Geet. "They're like that all the time, nothing new" he informed returning his attention to his phone.

Geet grabbed the phone putting it on the other side of her.

"Geet" Maan straightened.

She shook her head gesturing to the bickering lot.

Maan rolled his eyes and looked at his cousin and brother harping about.

"You're such a jackhole" Vikrant snapped.

"Says the wimp!" Karan smirked.

"Vikrant, Karan stop it both of you. Don't make me beat you up" Maan intervened narrowing his eyes. "You're here to celebrate with everyone, don't spoil it"

"Bhabhi" Vikrant frowned.

"Maine kya kiya?" Geet looked on innocently.

"Aap ne kuch nahi kiya, sab kuch maine kiya hai" Vikrant replied.

"What's with everyone shouting?" Dadima stepped outside with Anisha beside her.

"They're fighting" Araina pointed between Karan and Vikrant.

"It's him" Both blamed the other.

"Karan how old are you and how old is Vikrant?" Anisha questioned.

"He's only a few years younger than me. Don't make it out as if he's a baby" Karan frowned.

"He is the baby of the house" Anisha chuckled.

"I am not, it's Bhabhi" Vikrant pointed. "She's the youngest out of everyone"

"And the most mature" Dadima twisted his ear playfully.

Maan silently raised a brow, dadima chuckled shaking her head at him.

"Khair yeh sab chodho... Maan bete take them all out of the mansion please. I want you to take them shopping or something because sitting here and talking will just make them crankier. There's still around another 7 hours left before they have to break the fast"

"Alright dadima" he agreed.

"What did you plan for their engagement and wedding?" Maan questioned Geet as they climbed into the car.

"All those days you didn't listen to me when I was talking to you about it?" Geet queried.

Maan looked at her surprised and tried to think back to the time she talked about wedding themes with him.

"Uh..."

Geet giggled seeing him looking all stumped. "I didn't talk about it. I know you don't like wedding and party talk"

"Geet tum na..." Maan shook his head. "What did you plan then?" he started the car.

"Winter theme wedding. Meera always wanted a winter wedding theme, she loves loves the snowy white weddings. Whenever marriage was brought up she said she wants to get married in a princess white winter wedding" she explained. "Reception party will be in Vikrant's favourite rockband"

"What?" Maan glanced at her intrigued.

"You know how he likes music, so the reception is music themed. And the wedding ceremony will be a white winter princess style theme" she explained.

"Looks like you've got it under control" Maan smiled reaching over and taking her hand in his. "I'm sorry I'm not able to help you with all this..."

"You don't need to be sorry, I won't be expecting something from you that you aren't comfortable with at all..."

Maan squeezed her hand offering another smile.

"Will you be going to work tomorrow?" Geet asked. Over the last few days he had been home and keeping her company, after the incident two nights ago on the terrace she spent her time in their bedroom not wanting to face his relatives. Maan had planned to go to work but he hadn't want to leave her when she was feeling uncertain about her actions. He'd tried to convince her and assure her constantly that she has nothing to be afraid of but it seemed like the words hadn't sunk in yet.

"Only for a few hours" he responded. "It's just to sign some paperwork and look over new contracts" he explained.

"I think I might go to work as well for a few hours"

"If you're going because you don't want to be alone with everyone at home, I'll stay" he suggested.

"No, it's nothing like that. I'd like to go and catch up on some work. There's a couple of days before the engagement, after that two weeks only before wedding" she responded.

He hummed in acknowledgement nodding his head.

"You're really serious about ignoring my bhai then?" Araina questioned looking at Amelia.

"Uh huh" She nodded and looked up from her phone. "If I don't value myself and see what I'm worth how is he going to respect and value me?" she chuckled.

"You like him?"

"I don't know really" Amelia rolled her eyes. "I'm so confused, I don't know whether I like just his looks or him... for me it's always been looks and wealth, reason being I didn't want a boyfriend who lives off my money... I wouldn't mind paying or sharing my wealth, I just don't want a boyfriend who relies and depends on me. That isn't the way the world works. Being hot is just a bonus for me..."

"And what about love though?" Araina quizzed.

"I don't know much about love, it's always been something that can be bought for me" Amelia shrugged. "My dad got my mama like that. It's been money for her all the time"

"Oh, I'm sorry" Araina apologised.

"Thanks but it wasn't you who caused it" she laughed.

"I... I only know love because of my mama, my bhai, dadima, Maan bhai and Vikrant..."

"I know love because of Geet, Meera and her parents..." Amelia smiled.

"One day someone is going to love you properly" Araina told her.

"One day" Amelia winked. "Your brother must be really enjoying driving alone don't you think?"

"I'm guessing he's happy or else he would've had to drive with Vikrant and Meera" Araina cackled. "You know how he doesn't like those flirting away an all..."

Amelia nodded laughing along with her.

Everyone returned home a few hours later having roamed around the shopping malls and spending time with each other, though they hadn't bought anything as Geet refused to let anyone buy anything as she has plans for the wedding.

Maan had retreated to their room once they'd returned, Karan had excused himself telling his mother he'd be back in a little while as something had come up at the office and Vikrant stayed beside Meera.

"Geet bete" Dadima stepped into the hall approaching them by the sofas.

"Ji dadima" Geet answered glancing over her shoulder.

"Aap Meera, Araina aur Amelia ke saat mere kamre mein aiyye" she gestured.

Geet looked puzzled but thought nothing of it, she nodded and dadima headed upstairs.

"Well you heard dadima, c'mon" Geet looked at her friends then glanced around the hall. "Araina kahan hai?"

"Here Bhabhi" Araina joined them.

"Thanks Araina, eat in front of us why don't you?" Meera frowned.

"What? I'm starving" Araina mumbled eating her apple. "At least I'm not eating like a full meal, it's only an apple"

"It's still something. I'm starving here" Meera whined. "I hate this"

"I want one" Amelia piped in. "You could've gotten me one"

"You didn't ask"

"Stop arguing and complaining, dadima wants us all to be in her room" Geet stood shaking her head and mentally cursing her friends and relative's abilities to always fight over everything.

"Tujhe kya hua hai" Amelia rolled her eyes as they all trailed up the stairs.

"Kuch nahi" Geet huffed.

"You're not pregnant are you?" Amelia chuckled.

"Kya?" Geet frowned.

"You've got the hormones of a pregnant woman today, you've been huffing and getting annoyed at anything and everything" Amelia pointed out. "Even in the shopping mall you.."

"Shut up, I'm not pregnant" Geet cut her off. "In the shopping mall, I only said you're not allowed to buy anything"

"You should do a home pregnancy test to find out" Meera intervened.

"Meera" Geet whined. "Tu bhi..."

"Main bhi kya"

"Dono chup ho jao warna teek nahi hoga. I'm not pregnant okay!"

"You're pregnant" Meera and Amelia sang in amusement.

"Geet bete..."

Geet turned around and noticed dadima beaming so happily.

"Dadima woh..."

"I'm so happy" Dadima walked over cradling her cheeks.

Geet bit down on her bottom lip feeling nervous and guilty knowing when dadima comes to learn that she isn't pregnant she'd be very upset.

Meera and Amelia looked at each other feeling equally guilty, they hadn't thought anyone would be hearing them nor had they thought anyone would believe it.

"I'm happy you're not pregnant" Dadima patted her cheeks playfully.

Geet looked at dadima stunned then in relief followed by a laugh. "Dadima..."

"Aapka chehra.." dadima pointed laughing, Amelia, Meera and Araina joined realising what dadima meant and were relieved that dadima hadn't believed their jokes.

"Now that you're all done messing around with my bahu, can you all make it to my room without teasing her?" Dadima looked between them all once they'd gathered themselves.

They nodded silently and walked towards dadima's room.

"What's all this?" Amelia asked as she noticed the various sarees laid out on the bed.

"This is for tonight" Dadima explained standing beside the bed. "Instead of having to choose different colours and different types of dresses and sarees, I wanted you all to wear something similar"

"They're all so beautiful" Araina brushed her palm along the sarees.

"Haan, it wasn't an easy task to choose these out. It's a good thing Maan and Vikrant helped" Dadima responded.

Geet looked surprised. "Maan aur Vikrant?"

"Haan bete" Dadima chuckled. "Speaking of them, this is what Vikrant has chosen for you Meera" Dadima picked up the beautifully wine coloured saree gown for Meera to see.

Meera's eyes lit up excitedly and gratefully. "And Vikrant has chosen your one as well Amelia" Dadima informed.

"My boyfriend totally knows my choice" Amelia laughed taking the saree dadima offered and hugged it.

"He's my husband" Meera nudged her.

"He's still my boyfriend" Amelia shrugged.

"Now stop arguing and go get ready in them. I want to see you all in them" Dadima told them both gesturing towards the door. "Go straight down and turn left into the guest bedroom. You can change there"

"Ji dadima" Both retreated, dadima picked up Araina's sweetheart blouse wine coloured saree and showed it to her. "Kaisa hai?"

"It's stunning, this caught my eye when I looked at all of them" Araina chuckled. "I was confused at first, I had something similar to Amelia's... Maan ne kahan you'd like this one more" she informed.

"I do. It's so freaking beautiful. Thank you dadima" Araina threw her arms around her and hugged her tightly. "Love you"

"I love you too bete" Dadima smiled widely. "Aap bhi jaake tayyar ho jao"

"Ji..." Araina nodded beaming at Geet as she left the room.

"Aur yeh aapka" Dadima gestured to the last saree remaining on the bed. "I'd chosen something a little more... jazzy and with more embroidery all over the skirt" she paused taking Geet's hand into hers. "Par Maan ne mana kar diya, yeh keh raha ta ke meri biwi simple sarees main bohut acchi lagti hai dadima" she murmured softly.

Geet blushed dipping her eyes shyly.

"Aapko pata nahi hai Geet ki mujhe kitni khushi huyi ti jab Maan ne yeh kahan..." Dadima cleared her throat blinking back her joyful tears. "Zindagi bar sochti rahi ki mere Maan ke zindagi mein koi aisa aa sakta hai jo uske gham ko mita sa ke aur aap ne.."

"Dadima" Geet cut in covering dadima's hand with hers. "Aapke vaje se mujhe Maan mila hai, agar main aaj khush hoon toh woh aap aur Maan ke vaje se..."

Dadima smiled brightly cradling Geet's cheek and bringing her forward, she planted a kiss to her forehead. "Aap bhi jaake ready jo jaiyye"

"Main yahan change kar sakti hoon?" Geet asked. "Woh Maan kamre mein hai aur main abhi nahi dikhana chahti"

"Teek hai bete, main neeche hoon. Main das pandra minute ke baad aati hoon" she retreated.

Geet looked down at the saree her husband had chosen and smiled, this saree was perfect for her, it wasn't revealing nor too heavy. Simple and elegantly stunning.

Maan turned around hearing the soft click of their door opening and stared on in surprise when Geet slowly stepped inside. His eyes rove down taking in her beauty as she stood in the wine-coloured saree gown he'd chosen. His gaze drew to her slim hips where he can see her skin and enjoyed the view, his fingers twitched wanting to reach out and hold her, bring her closer... He cleared his throat reminding himself she was fasting for him, he slowly walked towards her. Geet's eyes the entire time were dipped low, she chewed on her lower lip feeling shy, she sensed his movemets and stepped back.

Maan smiled chuckling when her back hit the door, he closed the distance between them both and placed his hands on either side of her.

"Running away?"

Geet shook her head smiling shyly.

"Accha..." he brushed his lips along her jaw. "You look so beautiful Geet" he whispered into her ear, his hands resting on her waist.

"Thank you for choosing this for me" she replied slowly lifting her gaze and staring at him. "It's... It's such a stunning saree"

"It's nothing compared to you" he responded cradling her cheek. "I'm glad you like it though"

"I love it" Geet cut in.

"I..."

"Maan, Geet..." Dadima called knocking on the door.

Maan groaned closing his eyes whilst Geet giggled. She nudged him back and opened the door. Dadima grinned noticing the frown on her grandson's forehead.

"Aww Maan bete did I disturb you romancing Geet?"

"Dadima, remind me again how old you are?" Maan rolled his eyes walking further into the room.

Dadima laughed and looked at Geet. "Bete chalo, sab neeche ja rahe hai"

"Ji dadima" Geet nodded.

"Maan aap bhi aiyye"

"God!" he muttered shaking his head. He didn't want to go down and he was going to refuse but remembering the other night of how his so called f**king relatives had taunted Geet he couldn't just leave her alone. Even if she had managed to speak up in front of them, she'd avoided them since that night. He didn't want her feeling uncomfortable in her damn home.

"Chale..." he closed the door behind him.

"No argument?" Dadima quizzed raising her brows in amusement.

"No dadima, no arguments" Maan answered. "Unless you'd like me to argue the reasons to why I don't want to be downstairs and why I don't want Geet to be downstairs..."

"Maan bete..." Dadima sighed.

"Only saying" he cut her off. "But I sure as hell can't wait for them to all get f**king lost" he murmured.

"Watch your tongue Mr Khurana" Dadima frowned.

He didn't answer, instead satisfied himself with rolling his eyes at her.

Really good to see k maan is doing d things which he dnt like, just to make geet comfortable.

Now they both share very good rappo. Hope to see more of maan n geet like in honeymoon one.

Anyway about this update geet is too happy to express and maan is slowly opening up at least for the family and specially for geet he choosed her saree which is awesome but dadi distubed their romance i was waiting for a kiss moment but dadi came n even my mood was somewat spoiled . Loved the friendship between all n bonding between siblings vikrnt n karan is awesome. Wishes karan proposes ameli soon and get to know about his own feeling but the scene btwn them about fight n nok jhok is very entertaining n refreshing. ...
