So, Maan knew it all along that it was Geet who was messing his routine s by playing pranks to annoy him, he wanted to know to which extent Geet will go to trouble him. Geet who was irked with Maan's words retorted back at him and in frustration compared his character with that of Arjun's. Geet words hurt his ego. Glad that Adi handled the situation in his own way and knew how to take care of Maan. Maan is affected by Geet's words.
