I saw her again today on the same bus. She was looking outside sitting on her usual seat. Her eyes still had that emptiness which I have been noticing since the day I first saw her. I thought about it a lot of times, to talk to her but couldn't muster the courage to do so, what if she takes me wrong, what if I never see her if I do that, so I watched her silently from afar hoping that may be someday, I would be able to get close to her to know what is troubling her. I remember the first day when I saw her, standing in a plain chudidaar she looked ethereal, unlike the girls I have seen around me, she was same yet different. I chided myself constantly to not to look at her but still I couldn't look away either, it was not her beauty but her empty eyes that attracted me, I felt like I want to make her happy. Months have gone by since then when I thought about speaking to her but well I couldn't. The bus stopped and she got down at her usual spot. This time I followed her to know where she works and I was shocked to see that she was an employee of mine.

"Was she always this close, I thought to myself.

"May be she is working in a department which is managed by my younger brother, Dev, I thought.

I, Maan Singh Khurana , have always been a man of a few words, so I had difficulty in putting up my thoughts to get through my family too, a thing which my family members disapproved of. My brother is the opposite of me, he is lively and is happy with his wife and kids, while I for some reason seem like a threat to the female population. I have found myself following this particular unknown girl. No...now don't get me wrong, I'm not going the obsessive lover's way ...it is something else that makes me want to protect her ...yes that is the right word protect her'. My train of thoughts got disturbed due to a sudden knock on my door. "Come in, I answered looking back in to my work. After a while I heard the door opening and the sound of...bangles...I looked up to see her there.

"Hello Sir, She greeted.

"I'm your new assistant Geet , Dev Sir has appointed me and the earlier secretary has been fired by him due to inappropriate performance, She informed.

"Geet..., I mumbled looking at her trying to believe shes here in front of me. I found her looking at me may want the next set of instructions to be given to her. Before I could say anything my younger brother came in. "Bro, I have appointed Geet as your new secretary. She is a fresher but is really focused on her work, I was impressed by her skills and determination so I appointed her as your new assistant, He smiled.

"Alright Dev, I smiled.

"Geet, brief him about the schedule today, Dev told her before leaving them. She did as told...but I found something odd about her...her eyes ...it felt different. I observed her...like I have been doing since some time now...like four months...but still the emptiness in her eyes bothered me.

"What am I doing, I chided myself for looking at an employee for more than needed but what was it that pulled me to her.

She finished narrating the schedule and looked at me, "Sir do you need anything else. "Ah, no that will be enough for today, I said not wanting to be caught off guard by her and not wanting her to think that I'm some freak. She nodded and left the cabin making me sigh in relief. I caught up with my work taking the material needed for the meeting and left to the conference room. I was really impressed when I entered to see everything in place. "Sir, I have arranged everything according to your need for the meeting. Please check and tell me if you need anything else, She spoke in the same monotonous tone. "No Geet, its fine, thank you for your assistance, I smiled. "Thank you Sir, She said. She made her exit and the clients arrived soon after. I finalized another deal today like the many I did on my usual days but today I felt a little happiness was it because of her.

I wrapped up my work and went down to the parking. I saw her there, I thought for a while and then mustering the courage I walked up to her. "Geet, I called.

She turned back may be startled by the sudden sound but her face was devoid of any expressions.

"Yes Sir, She said after a pause in the same monotonous voice.

"Are you waiting for someone ...Should I drop you home, its getting late, I asked worried for her safety. "I missed my bus Sir, so I'm waiting for another one, She told.

"Come, I will drop you, I offered.

"Thank you Sir, but I hope I won't be a trouble to you, She said accepting my help.

"Not at all, I answered. I escorted her to my car and once settled she told me her address.

"Geet how long have you been working in our company, I inquired.

"Its been a year Sir, She answered.

"Sir you can stop here, Geet said. "But the address you gave me is far from here...I can drop you there, I offered.

"Umm...it is alright Sir, I will walk a few blocks, She spoke.

I did not want to sound like a freak and keep on insisting, so I accepted her wish and bid goodbye to her.

Days passed by, with her near me I had found a new source of happiness it seemed...but I forgot that with happiness tears come along too. Geet was now an integral part of my life, I had even managed to become friends with her delighted that she accepted my friendship. One day, I sent her to the archive room to get some files.

"Geet do you want someone with you, I can send someone else you don't need to go there, I asked. "No sir, that won't be the need, I will manage, She said.

"Alright call me if you have any trouble alright, its down the hallway, I told her.

She made her way down the hallway. I waited for her but it was now two hours already, something told me that she is in trouble, worried about the same I made my way down to archive room cursing myself to even send her there. I called out to her, "Geet...Geet, where are you.

Getting no answer I looked for her and found her unconscious in a corner. Looking at her unconscious form it seemed to me that my life has been knocked off. I rushed to her trying to wake her up...her body was cold. I found something in her hand...a note.

"I'm not a human...please press the button in my earring, I was shocked to read it. She was not a human ...how can that be ...then what is she...nevertheless I found that button and pressed it...and in a moment she opened her eyes and looked at me,

"Thank you Sir...I'm sorry to trouble you. I joined all the dots together and understood the emptiness of her eyes and everything else was because ...she is not a human but a Robot.

"I can understand Sir if you don't want to be friends with me anymore...I'm a humanoid artificial intelligence...from another time, She said a little sadly.

Her pain hurt me ...her eyes her sadness everything hurt me ...in that moment I decided and hugged her to myself. "I don't care what you are ...I don't care about anything anymore ...I will be with you forever, I promised her...

City Hospital

Whenever we hearing hospital name , we have some fear in corner of heart , If anything happen to anyone .if person is safe or not , yeah more times that places making person alive sometimes persons left also .if we were loving person deeply , we never want that person say good bye to us , if our loving person in critical condition , how could we feel in hospital , yes we feel like we stand in burning fire or our heart beat not stabled one ..same situation happening in one man life , if he get his love back or she say goodbye to him, he don't want her goodbye permantely , she want alive for him , let see god show any mercy for him and his love .

Hospital ICU corridor , its very silent . its seems like big storm crossed like silence .yes big storm crossed in his heart , his mind , heart , all his veins thinking about her , only her .

A Man sitting in chair outside of icu , his face so pale , his brown eyes around area were swollen insake of crying , may be he did not slept last 24 hours even his eyes did not closed single blink , his mind and heart screaming , if any doctor say good news for him.even his face more guility because of him , she in critical stage ..if anything happen to her , he cannot forgive himself even he cannot live also why not she is his love , hmm stupid guys not realize her pure love , he thought that she is good friend for him , he shared everything with her even his love , no no..not love just crush for Girl , insake he did not know her love ..how much he hurt her but she always hidden her pain infront of him , her lips crept on smile for him . Doctor touched man shoulder and his eyes caught doctor while his eyes asking his love alright before his mouth open with doctor.

Doctor : sorry Mr. Khurana, she counting her last breathe ..doctor left as his word broken him more..

Man : oh god, why today more traffic in delhi . I need go soon otherwise I get more scoldness by boss while rubbing his temple ..his angry mood calm after hearing giggling sound in his left side of view .

Girl standing in some flower pot in her hand , her smiling sound like some coins drop down to ground .

Girl give pot to old lady : aunty , u asked this flower pots right .

Aunty : thanks dear.. give some amount to girl .

Girl take amount from old lady : aunty, take care this flowers and don't placed in very sunny place . just placed in little warm place .

Aunty : yes , dear.. everytime u saying same instruction for me ..with teasing tone.

Aunty : I got from u , surely this flowers give more fragrance and its make my place more beautiful , I asked u special rare piece . I forgot flowers name ..when I will get dear

Maan bike stopped infront of praying geet : Geet, this is not temple nor home. U r standing in mid of road but u praying with ur babaji with rolled his eyes.

Geet : maan .. what r u doing here ..

Maan : come for praying with shook his head ..

Maan stopped far from apartment : time god, I escaped ..with take long breathe..

Maan : I went apartment and press door bell .. one lady opened door.. she smiled widely ..her dressing sense not good with yuck face, she pulled me inside , placed her hand to my cheeks while rubbing my temple , she tried to with horror face..

Dad: I think , u enough knowledge take over company , u r brother and meera will be shift to London soon, he will take care London branch , annie marriage also fixed with arjun . now ur turn , I need u too settle down ur life soon ur dadi wish also same .
