Chapter 7

"How can papa do this to me" Geet looked Rano.

"I asked him but he is not saying anything, you don't worry beta I will not let him break your engagement with Maan" Rano try to console Geet. As Rano left Geet make a call to Maan.

"I want to meet you now" Geet cry.

"Geet what happen tell me?" Maan asked worriedly hearing her cry.

"Please meet me, I will tell you everything" She said wiping her flowing tears.

"Fine I'm coming in 10 minutes" Maan think what happened which make Geet cry.

"Maan" Geet run into Maan arms the moment she saw him in garden of her house.

"Geet why are you crying" Maan hugged her back, he has feeling that something is terribly wrong.

"Papa canceled our engagement" Geet said shocking Maan.

"What?" Maan pulled her back.

"Yes, he don't want me to marry you. I don't know why. I asked him and Maa too but he is not telling anybody anything" Geet told whatever happened in his house. Maan looked her stunned.

"Why he doing this?" He think hugging Geet who is crying silently.

"I can't live without you, please do something" She look up at his face.

"Nothing wrong will happen with us, you just be with me then I can fight with anyone" He promise wiping her tears.

"I'm with you always" She promised looking his eyes.

Next day...

"Maan beta" Rano smile seeing Maan in their house. Maan touched her feet. She blessed him whole heartedly.

"I want to meet uncle" Maan said.

"Hmm I call him, you sit here" She went to call him to their room.

"Why you come here now? I think by now you know I don't want Geet to marry you" Mohinder stood in front of Maan.

"Uncle I..." Mohinder show him hand stop.

"Mr. Sharma for you" Mohinder told. Maan can see how much angry is he.

"Fine Mr. Sharma, I just want to know why are you doing this?" Maan asked hoping to get a reasonable answer.

"It's better if you ask your mom dad about this" He said walking away.

"Why can't you tell me?" Maan ask not getting what actually is wrong with him.

"They are the right person to tell you" Mohinder speak without turning to him.

"Bauji maa please can you tell me what is the matter exctaly ?" Maan ask when he find them both in living.

"Hmm" Suraj nods.

"He is angry on me because I choose Gayatri over his sister Radha" Suraj told.

"I'm not understanding anything ?" Maan ask confused.

Flashback... 28 years back...

"You can't do this to Radha, she loves you" Mohinder shouted angry to see Suraj and Gayatri standing together in Khurana mansion.

"But I love Gayatri" Suraj try not hurt his friend.

"I don't care, I just want to see my sister happy with you" Mohinder said.

"So you want to destroy three life for your sister" Suraj asked.

"I just want my sister happiness" He told blinded by his love for his sister.

"Don't be so selfish" Suraj said, he know Mohinder loves his sister too much to do anything for her but he never thought he will even forget that they are best friends.

"Even if I marry Radha then also she can't live happily with me because I can never love anyone other then Gayatri" Suraj told.

"So you are choosing Gayatri over our friendship and Radha ?" Mohinder asked last time.

"Please" Suraj feel guilty for hurting both Mohinder and Radha.

"I ask something answer me" Mohinder asked in anger.

"Yes" Suraj looked away helplessly for choosing between his friends and love.

Flashback out...

"From that day Mohinder hates me and Gayatri and now he is punishing you and Geet" Suraj told. Maan sat on couch holding head in tension.

Sharma mansion...

"Now tell me do you still want to marry Maan ? I want my Geet on my side and I know you will never go against my words" Geet looked her father after he told her how Suraj rejected her Radha bua.

"I will do whatever you ask me now" She looked down, her tears fall silently.

"I'm so happy you are supporting me beta" Mohinder hugged Geet.

Sharma office... Geet's cabin...

"Geet please you can't do this to us" Maan hold her shoulders when she told him what she decided.

"I'm just supporting my father, I'll never go against his words" She looked his wet eyes.

"When he is wrong then too?" Maan try to put some sense in her head.

"I don't think he is wrong" She told, Maan see that Geet too doing same mistake as her father.

"I hope you understand difference between wrong and right before its too late" Maan said not liking how she is supporting her father blindly, she is ready to break their relationship.

"I'm not some kid to get manipulate by anyone" She yanked his hands away.

"Please don't leave me I love you" He almost beg helplessly in front of her seeing she is blinded by love for her father

"May I come in ma'am" They heard a knock on door. Geet gave permission moving away from Maan.

"Mam your father is here" Meera inform her.

"I'm just coming" Geet said. Meera nodded moving out.

"Sorry but I need to leave now" Geet looked Maan.

"So you don't love me? Or you never loved me" Maan hold her wrist when she walked ahead.

"Let me go" She pulled away from him.

"Geet" She stormed out. Maan can't believe that Geet choose to leave him, she choose her father over him. She broke her promise that she will always be with him.

"I asked you Geet to be with me, I wanted to fight this world. Why did you break your promise, how your love became so weak?" He stood there middle of room, a silent tear roll down his cheek.

Next day...

"Geet do you know Mr. Khurana leaving to Mumbai" Ridhima tell Geet on phone.

"Maan" Geet look for him when Armaan open door of Maan room. She find Maan collecting files. They're done packing.

"Leave us alone" Geet tell looking Maan but Armaan know she is telling him. He leaves closing door behind.

"You didn't even tell me that you are leaving" Geet angrily grip Maan shirt collar.

"Geet now that doesn't matter anymore if I tell you or not" He curl his arms around her waist, last time adoring her face before going away from for forever.

"I'm sorry" She cry hugging him tightly, she can't believe they are separating.

"You can stop me" He said caressing her hair with so much love, he is still hoping she support him fulfill her broken promise.

"I can't hurt Papa" She helplessly look him.

"What about me then?" She looked down know she is hurting him.

"Maan only one hour left for our flight and your mom dad already reached airport" Armaan pushed door open.

"You take this bag out, I'm just coming" Maan said. Armaan nods moving out with bag.

"Maan" She hold his hand when he was about to leave room.

"I love you Maan" She confessed. He stare her teary eyes.

"I love you too, if you need me then call me any time, I will be there with you just take care of my Jaan" Maan give a deep kiss her forehead trying to move away from her, he don't want to break down in front of her.

"Jaan" She throwed herself into his arms, her lips slammed into his red ones.

"Oh baby how I'm going to live rest of my life without you?" Maan cries holding her to his dear life.

"If possible please forgive me" Cry Geet between their last kiss.

After two days...

"I missed my Per**." Geet murmur in tension.

"Di how can this happen?" Pari looked Geet confused. Geet sat on sofa holding her head in worriedly.

"Di can I ask you something?" Pari ask.

"How many days passed to that Mumbai night?" She ask. Geet was stunned to hear Pari but now she too thinking that can be possible.

"Almost three weeks" Geet told touching her tummy.

"Di you are pregnant" Pari looked Geet for her reaction.

"My and Maan's baby" Geet cry knowing now its too late to feel happy, she herself destroyed what was between them.

After five days...

"Papa di is not going to any business trip, who will take care of her there?" Pari said when she heard Mohinder talking about sending Geet to a business trip.

"What you mean by who will take care of Geet? She is not going for the first time so you are worrying for her" Mohinder told thinking what happen to pari today.

"Yes you are right papa, di is not going first time but she can't go now because she is pregnant" Pari told in anger seeing that her father still not noticing Geet condition.

"What nonsense? Pari are you mad, do you even know what you are saying?" Mohinder asked looking Pari then turned to Rano for confirmation.

"Ji Geet is pregnant" Rano told who until now don't want to tell him about Geet pregnancy. She herself told Geet to not tell him anything, feeling fear from his so called revenge. She is not at all happy seeing Geet blank to every emotions after she separated from Maan and now she hiding about her pregnancy from Maan too.

"Maan's baby is this?" He ask. Pari nodded and tell him how someone drugged Geet in Mumbai in a business party and then only Maan Geet met.

"Geet" He shout her name in anger.

"Now what happen to you" Rano feel fear.

"Geet" He pushed her room door open and find Geet sitting in balcony lost in her thought.

"We are going for abortion now" Mohinder pulled Geet up from chair holding her arm.

"What" Rano was shock.

"No" Geet moved back can't believe her father want to kill her baby.

"Yes you are coming with me now" He try to hold her arm when she step back shaking her head for no crying.

"Please you can't kill my baby" She put her on her flat tummy in protective manner.

"Geet please try to understand this baby will create problems in future to find a nice boy to marry you. Please beta try to understand" Mohinder emotionally try to manipulate Geet.

"No I don't want to marry anyone, not now and not in future and don't think I will let anyone harm my baby" Geet told getting angry to see how her father controlling her life. She left a guy who loved her so much just for him and what he doing with her in return.

"Then you will never tell Maan about this baby" He put a condition. Geet looked him shocked, until now she was thinking they will meet some day if god really write their destiny to live together but here her father want to kill that last hope too.

"If you promise me then I'm fine with this baby" He ask. Geet is not understanding who to choose because she loves both Maan and their baby.

"I will not tell him" Rano and Pari feel helpless hearing Geet. Mohinder was smiling in relief.

Back to present...

"Now I will not let anything bad happen with us" Maan told standing next to Geet in their room balcony.

"Promise" She forward her hand in front of him.

"I Promise" He hold her hand in both hands, she smiled hugging him also promising herself that she will not break her this promise this not matter what happen.
