Maan is trying to give pain to Geet as he thinks that her truth and false pretenses will come into light when she won't be able to endure more pain inflicted upon her by him but alas Geet is strong willed and unassailable. He thyself was hurting her and was healing her too. A fear of loss, a fear of betrayal, a fear of being hurt , a fear of being seen vulnerable is making him run away from facing thyself whilst Geet was showing him mirror which was reflecting his conflicting emotions and words. The wounds of his heart and the scars on his minds are not letting him to forgot his past with Geet. I felt Geet truly meant her words about their relationship and kiss. Sometimes love is nothing more than a sticky web; illusions spun from clever minds and bitter hearts. Maan felt guilty thinking that he committed sin by kissing pure beauty in trance of attraction and mistook Geet's shy demeanor as regret. While Geet couldnt fathom that Maan evoke such intense emotions with in her.

A single lie or half truth discovered is enough to create doubt in every truth !!

Maan is surely deep hurt by Geet , though she wants to tell him what actually happened but it seems that he has decided he will not hear her out his best way to cover his hurt and his love for her is been with her making her feel small getting intimate wanting her to feel that he is just using her he is punishing her for all her wrong doings to him but every now and again he does slip up making her feel his love his care his concern

I really wonder what has Geet did to him to hurt this deeply
