Handa House
Handa house, Rather Handa mansion is located on the beach road facing the sea in Mumbai and the location of the building itself says how rich the Handas are.
Handa are into music business, they have a few recording theaters and they sell music, they release filmy music, they make private albums, arrange concerts. They are into everything related to music.
And today the house is being decorated, everyone in the family is busy with one or the other work.
The head of the family...Sukhdev lal handa.. is sitting in the garden and having his morning tea... he is father of two sons and a daughter.. his elder son is Inder handa, elder daughter-in-law is Rano handa, second son is Rajveer Handa and his wife Simran Handa.. and daughter Jasmeet chadda...and son in law Joginder chadda.. who is a doc by profession...
Inder And Rano are parents of two sons and a daughter... his eldest son is Brij and youngest son is Tej and only daughter Geet
Rajveer and Simran one son and two daughters, son is Arjun, who is Geet's age and daughters are sur and taal who are twins.
Jasmeet have one son and one daughter... Son is Armaan... who is also a doc like his dad and daughter Sargam...
Inder, rajveer, brij and tej are seeing the business.. even simran helps them...but Rano is a dedicated house wife. She is the heart and brain of the house... she is the homemaker
And today...every single family member is present... as A boy is coming to see their eldest daughter.. Geet...
Geet is the beautiful... just like her mother... but is not like her... she is mischievous and loves to play pranks on everyone... she doesn't even spare her Darji.. and her two assistants are sur and taal... they love to be with geet...
Geet is also a part of the Handa musicals... she is their singer... she sings in the name, Anamika... but nobody apart from family and few other office staff knows this... she doesn't want to be a known public figure... she is happy being unknown...
As they are into music.. the elders made sure the children learn music... only Geet learnt vocal... others learned instruments...
And today... they are waiting for the Khurana's...
The khurana's are well known business family and they are into construction business...
Khurana constructions is founded by Late Amarnath Khurana... His wife is Savitri Devi... They have one Son and one daughter... Manjeet Khurana is present MD of KC...and his wife is Shilpa Khurana...
Maan Singh Khurana , the groom, is the only son of Manjeet Khurana .. he is presently working with his father... Maan is an MBA degree holder from Oxford...

The proposal came through Dev Ahuja... Dev is also a doc by profession and is a very good friend of Armaan... he had seen Geet a few times and liked her very much... When Armaan shared the news that they are searching a suitable boy for Geet... He talked to Dadi and made the proposal to Armaan for Maan ... Armaan talked to his elders and they are impressed with Maan and got ready for the introductions... And Finally the day has come...
The Handa's are excited coz this is the first marriage proposal for the young generation... Brij and Tej are not ready to marry unless Geet is married... They want Geet to be married first... So Geet has to bow down infront of her family...
Geet is a postgraduate in Maths and Music... She is just like her mother... only thing that differes her from her mom is her stubbornness, a trait she got from her darji... And she is proud of it... this is the only concern that Rano has...
Rano is calling everyone... specially the bacha party...
Rano - Suno bacho... aaj mujhe koi shararat nahi chahiye... Agar koi bhi sharart karte dikha mujhe toh unka weekend party cancel and they will get punishment... though those words are for Sur and Tall... she doesn't want them to feel bad so she gave warning to everyone young... even to Brij anf Tej...
Brij - Maa... Aap hume toh chod dijiye... saari shaitani toh aapki laadi betiyan hi karti hain... sab se pehle apni badi beti se kahiye ki koi shararat na kare Maan ke saath...
Tej - Ha.. maa brij sahi keh raha hain.. aap pehle geet ko samjhayiye.. aur jab inki captain kuch nahi karega toh uski vanar sena kya karega... unhe bhi chup hona padega... She said looking at sur aur Taal...
S&T - Teji Veerji... hum aap ko chodenge nahi... aapne hume vanar sena kaha rukiye abhi dikhate hain ki hum kya karsakte hain... Waise bhi aaj Sargam di aane wali hain.. toh aap ki khair nahi...

In the mean time Joginder came with his family... Armaan too took leave as Dev will be coming and he has to do the introductions... The twins pulled Sargam to Geet's room to take revenge from the boys...
Rano pulled Armaan to the side...

Dev mera khas dost hain.. humne saath mein padhayi ki hain...aur ab same hospital mein kaam karte hain... Armaan - Mami... aap kahe toh main aap ke saamne Dev se baat karoon... Appko tasalli hojayegi...
Rano - Nahi rehne do agar tum itna kehrahe ho toh main maan leti hoon.. bas sab sahi se hojaye toh main babaji ke darshan karke aaongi... Rano folded her hands and prayed for the almighty...

Armaan went away and Rano headed to the kitchen where her both sister in laws are chatting sitting on the table and having their Tea...

Jassi - Arrey bhahi... itna kya tension lena... Dev apna hi ghar ka ladka hain... maine use bachpan se dekh hain... ( she means to say from collage days --- thoda exaggerate hogaya na.. kya kare kuch log aise hi hote hain) koi baat nahi hogi... aap tension na lo.. sab theek se hojayega...
She made Rano sit on the chair and got her a drink to cool her down...

Geet hugged her sisters and then returned their kiss... Sargam too joined them...

Jassi came in and saw them in a group hug...
Jassi - oye chodo meri bachi ko... hawa aane do use... Uske kapde aur makeup kharab hojayenge...

Savitri Devi - Sukhdev ji... aap ki pawriwar ko dekh ke bohut acha laga... Aap ke ghar mein toh ronak chayi hui hain...
Darji ji..- Savitri Devi ji... Hum sab ek saath rehte hain.. jassi toh aati rehti hain jab jogi aur Armaan hospital chale jaaye ... Bas aise hi bachon ko dekh ke din guzarjata hain...
Savitri Devi - aap bohut lucky hain ... itne saare bache hain ghar mein... humare ghar mein toh sirf Maan hain... ab bas yehi ummed hain ki uske 4-5 bache ho...
Maan in a low voice to his dadi - Dadi... aap bachon tak pohunch gayi... maine abhi ladki dekhi nahi hain aur naa hi haa kaha hain...
SD - badi jaldi hain ladki ko dekhne ki... She turned to Darji and said... aap Geet ko bulayenge... yaha koi besabri se intezaar karr raha hain...
Darji laughed and said Zaroor...
Darji signled Rano and Rano sent Armaan to bring Geet and she went to kitchen with simmi for the refreshments...
Maan - Dadi yeh sab kya hain... aap plz mujhe embarrass mat kijiye...
Armaan and Sargam Brought Geet to the khuranas...
Geet touched SD's feet... Sd blessed her and made her sit beside her...
SD - Geet aap pehle mujhse baat kijiye... baki logon se baad mein baat kijiye ga..
Geet slowly sat beside SD...
SD - aap ki hobbies kya hain...
Geet was expecting a typical dadi who will test her in everything... but here SD is too cool and directly went to her hobbies...
Geet - ji kuch nahi... I mean khuch khas nahi hain...
SD - toh aap free time kya karte hain...
Geet thought of telling her daily routine...
Geet ji.. - main subah thoda riyaz karti hoon... Darji ke saath mere morning tea... Phir Brij veerji ke saath office jati hoon.. waha unki help karti hoon... Sham ko jaldi aajati hoon... Mamma thoda khana banana sikharahi hain... Sham ka waqt sab ke saath guzarjaata hain... bas yehi hain...
SD - toh aap riyaz karti ahin... kya aap hume apna gana sunayenge...
Geet abhi... she questioned...
Manjeet - Maa.. aap chodiye Geet ko... Jise Geet se baat karni hain use toh baat karne dijiye...
SD - oh.. Haan... Maan keliye aaye haina hum... Main hi introduce karadeti hoon...
SD - Geet bete.. yeh mera pota hain Maan... Aur Maan .. yeh hain Geet.. jisse aap dekhne aaye hain... aur nahi dekh rahe hain...
Everyone laughed at SD's remark
Sur & Taal - arrey dadi ji... aap beech mien se hatenge toh hi dekhenge aur baat karenge na...
Simmi closed their mouths and glared at them... signaling to keep quiet...
Rano - ji.. Maaf kijiyega Maa ji... Bache hain... Unhe pata nahi hain ki kaise baat karni chahiye.
SD and Shilpa who were looking at the twins laughed..
Sd said - koi na Rano beta... sach hi toh kaha hain... main in dono ke beech mein baithi hoon toh dono ek doosro ko kaise dekhenge aur baat karenge...
SD to Maan and Geet - Chalo bacho ab main jaa rahi hoon... mujhe kabab mein haddi nahi banna... toh aap dono aaraam se baat kariye...
With that SD stood up and joined her bahu on the adjacent couch...
Maan and Geet were sitting aside each other not at all seeing each other or talking.. Geet is nervous and... Maan was playing with his fingers and Geet with her dupatta...they didn't know what to talk among so many people...
Maan looked at Dev for help...
Dev - Darji aur Dadi... mujhe lagta hain hume indono ko akele baat karne dena chahiye... dekhiye dono kaise baithe hain ... aise nahi lagta ki woh dono school principal ke saamne baithe hain... Nervous and tensed...
Armaan - Right... mujhe bhi lagta hain ki indono ko thodi der akele baat karni deni chahiye...
Darji - Theek hain... Geet puttar ... Maan ko garden mein leke jaao...main thodi der mein kisi ko bhejunga...
Maan stood up and looked at Geet... She replied to her Darji... ji Darji...

Geet - ji baithiye...
Maan sat on the chair and said Thank you...
Geet saw the kettle placed on the table in front of her and asked...( ab yeh mat sochna who waha kaise aaya hain.. Rano ne bhijwaya hain...)

Geet poured the black coffee in the cup and asked him... Sugar...

Geet - aap bina cheeni ke coffee pete ho...
Maan nodded.. she gave him his cup and started preparing her tea... she added 2 cubes of sugar in her tea... and started slowly sipping her tea...
Maan finished his coffee and asked... So Geet... what are your expectations from this marriage...
Geet - nothing much... I am expecting a friend and companion in him...as long as he can assure he will be there for me .. I have no complaints...Maine hamesha mere mumma papa ko dekha hain... unki dosti bohut gehri hain.. mujhe bhi aisi hi dosti chahiye apne aur apne husband ke beech... mamma kehti hain expectation jitni kam ho utni hi khush rahenge hum...

Geet - aur aapki expectations kya hain...
Maan - kuch zyada nahi...mujhe jhoot se bohut nafrat hain... main kuch bhi bardaash karsakta hoon bas yeh nahi.. ... mujhe aise log mere life mein nahi chahiye...
Maan said in a tone Geet couldn't get... she was not sure he is just saying his view or indirectly taunting her...
Geet - umm.. koi wajah...
Maan - hain... par abhi woh zaroori nahi hain... Aur aapko kuch poochna hain...
Geet - abhi keliye nahi... Agar baat aage badhi toh ek doosre jo janne ki koshish karenge..
Maan - I love to hear lies when I know the truth... he murmured and then said - interesting..

SD - toh kuch decide hua...
Darji - Geet puttar.. yaha aao...
Geet went to her Darji... He made her sit with him.. Geet sat on the hand rest of his chair... - Bolo puttar.. toh tumhara kya jawab hain.
Geet hadn't expected her darji would ask her infront of everyone.. she is yet to decide... she don't want to let her family down.. but this is her life and she needs time to think ... and more over Maan looked indifferent to her... she need to know him first...
Geet said Darji.. - kya aap mujhe do din ka time denge... I will tell you after two days...
Darji smiled and looked at SD... SD nodded.. hume koi problem nahi hain... hum bhi apni baat tabhi batayenge maan se baat karke... I think Maan ko bhi time chahiye decide karne keliye...
But Maan had something in his mind ... He said to Dadi
Maan - Dadi.. par mujhe time nahi chaiye... maine faisla karliya hain...
SD - Boliye Maa.. aapka kya faisla hain... SD was smiling .. she was sure Maan is smitten by Geet and he doesn't want to delay his marriage...
Maan - Mujhe yeh Rishta... Manzoor nahi hain...
SD stood up and said What... Maan aap yeh kya kehrahe hain...
Maan - aapne sahi suna dadi... mujhe Ms. Geet se shaadi nahi karni...
SD - Maan... agar aapko mazoor nahi that oh aap ghar jaake bhi bolsakte the.. lekin aap ne yaha inkaar karke unka hi nahi humara bhi apmaan kiya hain... SD said in a tone filled with Anger...
Geet stood silently... she doesn't know what to say or Feel... She not emotionally attached to Maan and she is definitely not in love with him to feel anything about the rejection... but she feeling bad for her family... they have some expectations from this rishta
Maan - aap meri poori baat suniye Dadi... Aap ko ache se pata hain ki mujhe jhoot se kitni nafrat hain... and jabse hum yaha aaye hain Ms. Geet ne jhoot ke alawa kuch aur nahi bola...
Armaan - Maan... you are crossing your limits now... Aapko Geet pasand nahi aayi.. koi baat nahi ... lekin aapko koi haq nahi hain ki aap uski istarah se insult kare...
Maan - No.. Armaan... I am not crossing any limit.. but I am here to open your eyes... Geet is not what you all think her to be... She is living a dual life... She is like Haathi ka daant dikhane ke ek aur Khane ke ek...
Brij - Bohut hogaya Darji... main apni behen ke khilaf ek shab bhi nahi sununga... App kahenge unhe jaane jeliye ya main baat apni haath mein loon...
Inder Brij... Hum bade hain yaha... baat karne keliye... tum chup raho...
MK - Maan... bohut hogaya.. galati hamari hain jo tumhe yaha leke aaye...
MK tunred to Darji and folded his hands hume maaf kardijiye Darji... Maan ki taraf se main maafi maangta hoon...
Maan - Aapko ko kisi se maafi maangne ki zarrorat nahi hain Who bhi meri taraf se... meri koi galati nahi hain ... Aap ko pata bhi hain iss ladki ne kya kiya hai... Iski wajah se kisi ki zindagi barbaad hogayi..
Rano sab log plz meri baat suniye... Mujhe lagta hain maan ko apni baath kehkne ka mauka dena chahiye... mujhe jaana hain geet ne aisa kya kiya jo maan ne yeh sab kuch kaha...
Maan turned around and saw Geet... Geet is now surrounded by her siblings and all are ready to pounce on him... even the little girls Sur and Taal are alo glaring at him
Maan - maine aapki Geet ka aisa roop dekha hain jiska aap log andaza bhi nahi hain... agar koi aur kehta yeh baat toh shayad main bhi yakeen nahi karta... itni achi acting ki hain aap ki beti ne...
Geet ne aisa kya kiya ki maan ne aisa ilzaam lagaya?

Maan finished a meeting with a client in Pune and was returning.. it was past lunch time. Maan didn't even have his bf as he started early to reach Pune on time... he and his staff came for lunch...as they were very hungry .. so they came to the restaurant they found on their way... It was not some five star restaurant but it was decent and neat... Maan agreed seeing the place neat... And his staff's expectant faces..
They had their food .. they were about to finish .. Maan heard loud voices... he saw in that direction... He saw a group of people.. may be 8 or 10... came and asked for table...
The person showed the table and the group joined two tables and sat ..Even after joining the tables the chairs were less... so they took more chairs and adjusted themselves around the table causing inconvenience to others but they didn't bother.. ... the manager requested them politely..the people didn't listen to them... The manager tries to talk with girls.. but a guy in the gang shouted at him...
Guy Karan singhanina naam hain mera... Jaha chahe complaint karo dekhta hoon kiski himmat hain mujhpe haath daalne ki...
Maan observed him... He is wearing torn jeans... a sleeveless shirt.. and then a jacket which is also without sleves... showing his well built muscles...
A girl made the manager move from there assuring they would not make noise and asked him to serve food...
But the boys and girls started talking loudly and disturbing everyone.. but no one dared to say anything after seeing Karan and his threat...
The waiter came with the food and started to serve... The waiter was a young boy.. he seemed new and was shivering serving the food...
Everyone taking something or the other and the table was chaos..
The waiter came to a girl clad in short skirt.. Sleeveless top and curly hair... she has a very fair skin and big almond eyes.. the waiter started to serve her soup.. she took the bowl from the tray and with shivering hand was about to put in front of her and suddenly the soup fell on the girl and she shouted in pain... Aaahhh...
Everyone was shocked seeing her crying in pain... The dress was short and the soup directly fell on her legs.. and they turned red...
One girl pulled out some tissues and started to clean her... but it caused more pain and the girl again shouted in pain...
Karan shouted Oh god pari... kya karr rahi ho... usse aur dard horaha hain...Take her to wash Room...
Maan saw that ... The Girl pari took Geet to Washroom.. he saw her then.. her dress was really in a bad shape and he don't know how much she got burnt by that soup... But it looked really bad...
