Nothing haunts us like the things we don't say ...
He was standing in his gym , worn out nd deeply hurt ,, d pain which he was feeling that time cdn't be share with anyone ,, he was fighting with his own feelings nd heart nd over this , he did that which cdn't be forgiven ,, he cdn't believe that he did that ,, now he didn't have courage to ask about her condition ,, he was feeling guilty , regretting , but these feelings cdn't turn d time nd the damage had done .
From last 2 hrs he was in this gym nd doing exercise , but nothing working nd d flashes of that incident wr haunting him again nd again ,, he slumped on floor recalling that ...
it was , no it's Karwachouth today nd from last day his DM was nagging him to arrange his meetings nd work to come home early ,, it was her ... Geet's 1st KC nd she wd open her fast after pooja nd seeing his face .
at 1st place he refused to do all that but DM threatened him so he agreed ,, he hated that DM always manipulated him to go with her wish , he finished his work nd had to attend a meeting in a hotel which was on his way to KM ,, he nd Adi reached there but his eyes caught a sight which burn him alive nd refresh all d wounds ... Sameera Sethi d wench , who betrayed him nd shamelessly snatched money from him was swaying in her new trap , that to his new client ,, very hardly he composed him nd shook hands with him ,, she with a devilish smile said Hi to him but he didn't reply nd excused saying that adi wd talk to him as he had a very urgent work at home nd leaving .
he said Adi to talk nd left in next min leaving a bewildered client nd his ladylove .
he didn't go KM ,, his whole was burning in rage , sent driver back nd drove aimlessly ,, lastly reached at a deserted hilly area nd stopped , came out nd punched d hard rocks to pour out his anger nd shouted to went out his frustration ,, he remained there for long ,, his phone was buzzing again nd again , but he didn't reply ,, DM , Vicky , Adi all wr calling him ,, hrs passed nd it turned dark ,, slowly his anger lower down nd he called back to Vicky that he was coming back then he called Adi nd told him to talk in KC next day .
when he reached his home .. KM DM , vicky nd she ... Geet was waiting for him ,, seeing him DM gave an angry glare nd went in her room ,, Vicky sadly informed that DM was very worried nd scaring when he was not responding their calls ,, better go nd talked to her giving suitable reasons of that careless behaviour ,, Maan sighed nd nodded ,, vicky left he started climbing d stairs to go in his room , but Geet's voice stopped him in mid ,, she was just behind him ,, he gave a look nd ignore in anger , but she held his hand nd requested him to come for pooja just for 2 min ,,How dare she ?? his temper shoot nd reminded him another humiliation ,, he snapped in anger jerking her hand back nd that's it ...
she lost her balance on stairs nd fell back ,, he turned with her scream nd thud sound nd turn his head ,, his eyes widened in shock seeing her hitting with steel railing nd then rolling down on staircase ,, in a blink she was on floor nd blood started spreading around her head ,, with d sounds Nakul rushed their nd shouted for help calling vicky nd DM ,, Nakul looked at him shocked ,, Vicky , DM nd other servants reached there nd all gasped in shock nd came near Geet ,, d view was horrible , he was rooted at his place nd staring at her lifeless blood soak body with wide eyes,, all including DM nd Vicky looked at him shocked nd in disbelief ,, Vicky at once shouted at satish to take out his car ,, Nakul wrapped geet's dupatta around her head to stop d blood nd vicky took geet in his arms nd run outside ,, DM gave a cold look to him nd followed Vicky ,, nakul followed her ,, he remained rooted at his place nd after few min slumped on stairs ,, he was still in shock nd not getting what had happened in a blink ? his eyes wr fixed at d blood which was spread at d end of stairs ,, didn't know how long he remained there ,, d house became silent ,, servants cleaned d floor ,, lastly Nakul came to him nd called him , then patted his arm to gain his attention ,, Nakul req him to go back in his room , when he didn move , Nakul held his hand nd brought him in his room , made him sit in his bed nd left quietly ,, he sat there for long nd then guilt started hitting his mind ,, he started accusing him , felt suffocated nd came in his gym ,, he was not getting courage to call Vicky nd DM to ask about her condition ,, d anger nd cold look of Vicky nd DM shivered him ,, he removed his shirt nd started doing Tai chi hr passed ,, he was sitting there drown in guilt nd remorse thinking how she was ? was she alive or ... No , it cn't , she'll be fine .
His whole body shivered with fear nd her lifeless body on floor haunted him again.
The night passed like that ,, he didn't know when he dozed off in gym sitting on floor ,, his back was rested against d wooden bench nd he was sleeping in half laying position ,, again it was Nakul who reached there after searching him in his bedroom nd wake up ,, very hardly he asked .
Maan : Nakul , all came back home or not ?
Nakul sadly : , no choty saab , i called Vicky baba nd asked about Geet ma'am nd DM , nd he said that he was with DM nd send her back after some time nd Geet ma'am was in ICU.
His heart skipped few beats in fear mumbling ICU ,, he felt lose of strength nd hardly dragged himself to his room ,, he remembered her last words while climbing d same stairs ,, she almost pleaded ... plzz aap 2 min ke liye pooja ke liye aa jaeye ,, plzz .
whole incident refreshed again in his mind nd he closed his eyes with regret cursing him what he had done in his anger ,, he didn't even move to save her ,, he was scared nd shocked to d core so didn't get d sense to think more ,, he was only staring at her bewildered .
Maan came in reality with d ringing od his phone ,, it was Adi ,, he took a long breath replied in a low voice , listened nd then checked d time ,, he was getting late for KC nd Adi was asking when he was reaching office ,, he closed his eyes to garner his strength nd replied that he wd be lil late but reaching there nd call him back .
halfheartedly he got ready nd left without taking BF ,, d whole KM was deadly silent .
All d way he was thinking about Geet , DM nd Vicky ,, even Vicky too didn't call him ,, don't know how they had managed ? how was DM facing that ? How is she ?
he reached KC nd called Adi in his cabin .
Adi : GM sir , u r not looking well ,, where wr u went last night sir , DM nd Vicky sir wr asking me ,, both wr very worried .
Maan sighed : i have some work Adi so don't disturbed me nd informed mr Taneja that we r not taking their proj .
Adi : what sir , but why ?
Maan sternly: do as i said , no if nd but .
Adi : y yes s sir ,, wo , this is d file of Shimla hotel proj , nd these r d air tickets of TM's flights .
Maan again sighed with closed eyes nd lips ,, there was no peace for him ,, he cdn't even runaway from all these ,, bound to bear his pain nd miseries masking him a strong , rough nd tough businessman ,, he nd KC is well known for perfection ,, he works on his conditions nd nd has a mark in construction business ,, did nd doing big projects ,, KC is counted in well known nd trusted Co. nd this happened bcoz of his hard work nd dedication ,, he never mingled his personal prob with business ,, none knew about his personal life ,, he never talked about his personal life in public .
Man : hhmm , Ok leave d file , i'll read nd cancelled all my meetings for 2 days or handle them if u nd Shasa can ,, talk to me on phone if needed.
Adi : OK sir .
Maan rearrange my meetings nd presentation for next 2 days nd send Shasa .
Adi : yes sir.
Adi left nd Maan gulped d whole glass of water , then called someone nd arranged a meeting ,, he ordered his PS Pinky to send his coffee nd then got busy in reading d file ,, Pinky brought his coffee nd went back ,, Maan finished some more work nd then left d office ,, after half an hr his car was entering in Sanjeevani hsptl gate ,, he ordered his driver to parked d car at back side ,, he did nd then Maan entered in hsptl through fire exit ,, he went in a Dr room nd wished him shaking hands.
Dr : Mr Khurana , i checked her nd talked to concern Drs who r treating her .
Maan : how is she ?
Dr: i m sorry to say , she is very critical nd didn't come in sense ,, Drs can't say anything until she open her eyes nd response ,, she has head injury .
Maan sadly sighed : oh , cn i see her , but avoid main door .
Dr : sure , nd plzz wear this mask nd cap .
Dr handed him surgical mask nd cap nd they went in ICU through staff entry from diff side .
Maan got this VVIP facilities bcoz Sanjeevani Hsptl was owned ny Khuranas nd that had 3 more branches in Delhi nd NCR ,, Vicky who was a gen physician lok after d Hsptl management ,, DM nd Vicky was there so there was no doubt that geet wd get best treatment , but what about that damage which he had done ?
Maan went near geet bed nd his heart came in throat seeing her condition , he immersed in guilt nd remorse ,, he stood there for few min nd then came out with heavy heart ,, thanked Dr nd req him to keep an eye on her nd he wd call him again to get d info .
he sadly sat in his car , threw his head back closing his eyes nd inwardly prayed to God to bless her life ,, he called Nakul , asked about DM nd to pack his bag for 2 days visit.

Maan went to Shimla though he was facing a hard time nd his heart was restless but as he did always Masked him as an unaffected nd emotionless cold person ,, he maintained a tough look all d time nd didn't smile from heart ,, his days was packed but he didn't forget to call Dr to get current report of Geet nd d reply was same .. unconscious .
There in Sanjeevani Vicky was sitting in his office ,, DM was resting in sofa ,, both wr sad nd quiet ,, Dr Pari was sitting infront of Vicky nd staring at him confused ,, she was not getting why DM nd Vicky wr that much worried for a relative , though she was serious but there wr none from her family side nd these both Daadi-Pota wr not leaving d hsptl nd taking every min details related to patient ,, she was curious to know about Geet .
Pari: who is she Vicky ?
Vicky : i told u Pari , she is a relative nd living with us .
Pari : do u inform her family ? none come till now .
Vicky : DM brought her here , she don't have any family ,, it's we , who look after her .
Pari : Oh , she is an Orphan , sad .
DM nd Vicky looked at Pari nd then exchanged a look sadly ,, thinking how much they had to lie ?
Vicky : Pari don't have duty ?
Pari : i m off nd have to go home , in AN i came to know about this case nd find u nd DM here much worried for d patient.
DM: Pari beta , u have a long duty hr , now go nd take rest .
Pari : do u need anything DM , plzz tell me , i'll bring at night ,, i have night shift .
DM: no thanks beta .
Vicky : i'll send her to KM at night .
DM: i won't go Vicky, until she open her eyes .
Vicky sadly : DM , like this u too fall ill , how i'll manage ? plzz take rest nd don't stress urself too much .
DM: i m fine beta , dn't worry , i had seen much more tough time .
Vicky sighed nd nodded his head , Pari to became quiet knowing where DM was hinting ,, she knew from Vicky that they had lost their parents when he was in school nd his elder bro was in college ,, DM nd his elder bro managed d falling business nd remaining family ,, they hd seen a hard time .
Pari left agter few min nd then DM opened her heart in front of Vicky after passing many hrs in worries.
DM : vicky , did he call u or not ?
Vicky looked at her nd nodded in a No sadly : i m still shocked that he did that .
DM: i m too ,, not even once he asked about her ,, how his blood became this much cold ? he didn't take a step to save this poor soul ,, he has reasons nd hate her handas but why he stoop so low nd threw her to die ,, i told her to keep fast nd req him to do some co operation .
Vicky: see d result of that fast ,, why u pestered them DM ? U know how d things r messed up ,, there is no solution of this issue , but i think now situation become more complicated if something happened to her ,, what'll we do if we lost her ?
DM: plzz don't speak bad beta ,pray that God bless her good health .
Vicky : try to understand DM , she is critical nd d related person was roaming peacefully , putting us in this mess ,, i m too praying for her , but don't know what is store ?.
DM sighed sadly ,, closed her eyes nd mumbled a prayer ,, vicky too sighed sadly nd went out to visit ICU.
That day also passed .. it was going 24 hrs nd Geet didn't response ,,, vicky req DM to go back KM but she didn't listen ,, Khuranas wr owner so had all d facilities for them in hsptl ,, Vicky's room was quiet comfortable nd both wr resting there nd visiting ICU every hr.
Those 24 hr wr not hard for DM nd Vicky but for Maan too ,, he was away but his heart nd mind was in hsptl ,, he was getting all info , but not getting d courage to call DM nd Vicky ,, he knew they'll blame him nd he didn't have any reply.
it was near early mrng ,, whole ICU ward was silent ,, night duty nurses took rounds nd then sitting in their seats nd got busy in chatting with each other,, there wr dim light all around ,, geet's closed eyes showed some movements then fingers moved a lil ,, after few min she hardly opened her eyes nd blinked many times ,, slowly rolled her eyes around her to get d reality then closed her eyes again ,, a trail of tears slid down from d corners of her eyes ,, she didn't open her eyes again , but her mind started recalling.
Geet's Anamnesis ...
she felt her body is aching nd head was head was heavy nd paining ,, she tried to move her hands but cdn't nd felt pain there too then she tried to open her eyes which she felt heavy but slowly she opened nd looked around her ,, she saw whiteness nd quietness all around nd saw diff types of machines next to her , drip stand next to her nd few tubes nd attached to her body ,, she got that she was in hsptl nd still alive ,, she left a weak cry coz of pain but voice didn't come out bcoz of oxygen mask ,, she closed her eyes again nd cried silently ,, d face of her mother flashed in her closed eyes ,, she recalled her whole life ,, what she was nd what she became now ,, in few yrs her life came upside down nd why God blessed her life which was only a curse ,, if Babaji gave her life then why didn't he make her forget everything , so that she cd start fresh .
slowly she drifted again in dark nd her heavy mind became numb ,, she didn't know she pass out or went in deep sleep .
Drs wr in round along with duty nurses ,, checking reports nd giving next orders ,, DM nd Vicky war standing besides d bed nd listening ,, a neurosurgeon slowly opened Geet's eyelid with his thumb to check her eyes nd that touch brought some moments in Geet's body ,, her eyes moved nd she blinked her eyes which alerted Drs nd he patted her cheek calling her name ,, othere Dr , Vicky nd DM startled nd looked at geet curiously.
Dr: ms Geet , cn u hear me ? yes open ur eyes ,, come on .
Geet awaken nd looked at dr nd then around ,, she find many ppl around her staring at her curiously .
Dr : cn u see us nd feel ?
Geet looked at him nd tried to speak but there was mask so she nodded he rhead lil but closed her eyes with a flinch ,, her head pained .
Dr: u have head injury nd deep cut in ur forehead , so it'll pain ,, don't worry now we cn give u painkillers,, for now this response is enough for us nd we cn go for further treatment ,, Dr Khurana , Maaji now we cn say that she is out of danger .
DM nd Vicky took a breath of relief nd thanked God ,, Drs talked to each others nd then wrote down d next steps for treatment ,, DM came close to Geet nd caressed her arm with a sad smile ,, vicky too smiled in relief ,, their eyes brightened seeing her alive .
DM : we wr very scared from last night , thanks to Babaji who listened our prayers nd blessed u a new life .
after brief talk wit drs Vicky nd DM went out with a smile ,, nurse added inj in her drip nd gave 2 more through cannula ,, after few min Geet didn't feel pain nd went in sleep again .
Outside d ICU Vicky took DM in side hug with a smile nd take a long breath of relief .
Vicky : aahhh,, feeling light nd hope for betterment ,, these 38 hrs wr like hell ,, thank god she is out of danger now , DM plzz now u go home nd take proper rest , i m worried for u too .
DM smiled nd nodded : yes u r right beta ,, hope she'll get well soon now ,, d hard time passed ,, r u not coming home with me , u too need change nd rest .
Vicky : yes , come lets go , Drs will take care of her nd she'll sleep after pain reliever shot .
