And here Geet already has a successful business running where she earns more than any average working class individual makes a year. Marissa's support must have been the much needed boost for Geet to go ahead with her own plans. Also not to forget, people don't think too highly of air hostesses. There is a certain prejudice set when it comes to flight attendants job. So her parents letting her do that job which makes people look down upon them says what an amazing parents they are. They've definitely set great example for their daughters. No job is less and one should do what pleases them. Flying is something Geet loves which is enough for Marissa to support Geet even if it kills her with worry for her well being constantly.

Wonder how does one come out of those nightmares that Maan has every now and then. Is there any cure or any solution for it? I hope he is able to overcome the stress and trauma and forgives himself as well, as from the prologue it was clear he feels guilty for surviving the attack.

well i was disappointed by the first meeting,

but then thought to have some patience,

after all only maan has geet seen till now,

geet is yet to see him!

to tell u the truth i thought their first meeting would be like typical arrange marraige family setting (i don't remember if i already mentioned that in my prev comment)

Geet efficiently manages her job as well as her business and she does keep tabs on all her finances as well!!!

My heart goes out to Maan reliving his nightmares, hopes he overcomes them!

You know how it was when we discussed about this particular job, its pros and cons and also how usually the job of air hostess is looked down upon. In fact the many stories I've read so far has kind of only showed the negative side of air hostesses. How desperate they're to get a rich man's attention or how they drop hints and all about wanting to get into sexual relationship with a rich playboy. Basically whenever I've read about a flight attendant I've never read anything good on it. Never. It had always had something degrading to talk about women who are cheap and characterless as they're always throwing themselves at men just to show the heroine jealous.

So reading about the job - which I bet we are all prejudiced about, it's so refreshing to know the other side of the coin finally. That not every time a flight attendant is throwing herself at men or trying to get attention. There are some who genuinely do their job however annoying, demanding and frustrating the passengers could be. I'm sure not many looked at air hostess with respect. That's another job that is still frowned upon by many in Indian culture. People still considers the air hostess that wears sarees are decent while the one in skirts are easy or some sex object hence even air hostesses are treated differently. Their job gets tagged as 'posh and pretty looking waitresses'. So it's really interesting to read about the workplace and the kind of passengers Geet has deal with every time.

Anyway, coming back to how Geet has been handling unwanted attention by men not only towards her but also her fellow colleagues, it says that's there's always two side to every story. And Geet is really really good at handling men I must say. This job demands her not to be a damsel in distress but rather take matters in her own hands and put people in their place. I like reading about her flight experience. It's fun.

Maan is in bad shape though. The nightmares do not let him move on. Every time he tries to be better, he gets pulled back into the darkness. There are times he is interacting and going out but then there are times he is completely locked up in his room refusing to even come out. And like him even I wonder how he will move on from this. Maybe like his Dadaji said, he will simply have to accept the nightmares as a part of him now. Or maybe he simply needs to unburden himself from the guilt cos obviously he is not at fault. If talking to someone helps then I hope he starts opening up cos Shirley is trying. What Maan is going through is heartbreaking because it's clear he wants to move on and makes effort towards it but fails to do so. Also I'm glad you finally revealed Maan's past profession. God! It was so difficult not to mention the name in my comments as readers seemed confused what has happened with him. 😆

The only great thing in his life is his family and friends like Kristen. I think they're the ones holding him from having a breakdown.

Geet on the other hand is enjoying her life and her job. The major reason she likes flying is cos she gets to stay at these rocking places and explore the world. Also staying in 5 star hotel is free for them right?

The update further proves that Maan and Geet are poles apart. I wonder how they'll manage once they do get married. From their job to their very personality to their lifestyle, they are so opposite. So how are they going to meet and even agree to the marriage is something I'm so so looking forward to now that Anil has talked to Suneel about Khuranas.

I'm excited for MG to meet. I wonder how Geet will react once she sees Maan since we all know he has been getting rude stares from people cos of his scarred face. And since he is already kind of 'fida' over her beauty I'm nervous for him. I'm sure he will be too once he comes to know he will be meeting Geet soon. The rejections he faced earlier is something that I'm most scared about now since it has left a great impact on him and his self worth/confidence. I'm anxiously waiting for the next parts. Until I know Geet's reaction I won't be at peace. 😆
