Maan found Gayatri's limp body in his arms! As the Dr. Budhiraja was still there she adviced Geet few days rest and then she can go to office but no strenous work. Geet regained her consciousness before Dr. Budhiraja left. Now that Geet was told her name and her relationship with Maan, the family wanted to get Maan and Geet married as soon as possible. Maan calmed everyone and said, "Shaadi sirf tab hogi jab Geet chahegi!" (Wedding will only be when Geet wants it!)
"Geetu, tum bataao tum kab shaadi karna chahti ho? Kyun naa Meera aur tumhari ek hi mandap mein shaadi kar dein?" (Geetu, please tell us when you want to get married? Why don't we get both Meera and you married same time and at the same mandap?)
"Chote Papa, hum kuch kahen?" (Ram Papa, can I say something?) Geet said hesistantly. All the elders nodded in affirmative.
"Kissi bhi ladki ki shaadi kaa din uske liye bahut khaas hota hai. Bachpan se har ladki ke armaan hote hain ki woh apni shaadi mein kya kya karegi? Kaise kapade, kaise zevar, kaisi mehandi waghera, waghera pehanegi aur lagayegi. Hum nahi chahte ki Meera didi aur Vicky jeejaji ka woh khaas din humare karaan 'khaas ki jageh aam bann jaaye". Aur ismein humara neeji swaarth bhi hai ki hum apni badi behan ki shaadi ke hassi, mazaak aur thitholi ka luft uttayenge." (For any girl, her wedding day is extremely special. Even as a child, girls always dream about their wedding days! What clothes to wear, what jewellery to wear, what design of mehendi she will apply etc. I don't want that by doing my wedding also the same day as Meera didi and Vicky jeejaji's wedding, their special occasion becomes ordinary and run of the mill! Besides this I have a selfish motive as well, I want to enjoy my elder sister's wedding with full of jokes, pulling her leg and annoying her.) Meera got emotional and hugged Geet. Khuranas and Kapoors were impressed that Geet can be more far sighted than them. "Hum Meera didi aur Vicky jeejaji ki shaadi ke ek mahine baad inse (looking at Maan with all her love!) punarvivah karna chahte hai. Iss deradh mahine mein hum apne pati, Mr. Maan Singh Khurana ko bhi jaana chahte hain jinhe humari yaadasht jaane ke kaaran hum bhool gaye hain. Hum asha karte hain ki aap sab badhon ko humare yeh nirnaye galat naa laga ho!" (After a month of Meera didi and Vicky jeejaji's wedding, I will remarry him (looking at Maan with all her love!). In this one and half month, I will be able to know my husband, Mr. Maan Singh Khurana whom I have forgotten due to my amnesia. I hope you elders are not upset with my this decision!) Geet said with folded hands.
"Nahi beta aap bilkul sahi keh rahi hain. Beta aapne yeh keh kar apni door andeshieta (foresight) dekhai hai." (No my dear, you are absolutely correct! By saying this you have shown your foresightedness.) Savitri Devi said impressed.
"Humari aap se (looking at Maan deeply as if drowning in his soul!) aur aap sab badhon se ek aur vinti hai kijab tak inka (Maan) aur humara vidhivat vivaah naa ho, kissi ko bhi inke aur humare rishte ke baare mein nahi patta chale. Naa officewalon ko aur naa parivaarwalon ko." (I have one more humble request from you (looking at Maan deeply as if drowning in his soul!) and all elders, that till we are not married according yo Hindu rites and rituals, please don't tell anyone in office or among our relatives about this alliance.)
"Good so now I have more time to irritate, tease and flirt with my baby doll." Avinash said winking at Geet, which was not liked by brother-sister duo i.e. Maan and Annie.
"Avi bakwaas karna bandh kar! Jaa ke mithai laa, mujhe Maan aur Geet ka muh meetha karana hai." (Avi shut up! Go and get sweets, I want to feed Maan and Geet sweets on this happy occasion.) Priya ordered.
Again there was jubiliation in Ranawat Mansion. Both Maan and Geet (With her head covered) were made to sit side by side. When Rano wanted to feed Maan laddo,
Geet stopped her, "Ek minute Maa!" (One minute, Maa!) Geet saw a plate and knife lying on the side table, she took the ladoo from Priya's hands, put it in the plate and cut the laddo in four pieces. Gayatri then said,"Abb aap inhei khilaiye!" (Now feed him!) Making Maan and Khuranas relax. Khuranas knew that Maan is not at all fond of Indian sweets so were expecting a volcano to erupt but saw how the volcano remain dormant due to quick action by Gayatri (Geet)!
TWO DAYS LATER
Location: RANAWAT INDUSTRIES (RNI) HEADOFFICE, NEW DELHI. 02:00p.m.
Today, Rishabh and Vicky were attending the meeting at Ranawat Industries (RNI) headquarters as Maan was busy signing his business deal. They had just reached outside Gayatri's cabin after lunch, when they heard hustle and bustle with things falling on floor and Meera's scream. Rishabh and Vicky forcibly entered Geet's cabin and froze seeing the sight.
For past two days Maan was not able to meet his Mishty as he needed to do final touches to the deal proposal again and again as their client was extremely demanding. Maan had just signed a deal with the annoying client and was lying on the sofa in his cabin after putting a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign, being both mentally and physically exhausted. Due to fatigue when Maan dozed off he doesn't remember. He started dreaming of his beautiful days after his marriage with Geet. Maan use to return home tired, and Geet would place his head on her lap
and give him relaxing massage thereby making him fall asleep immediately. Maan was still in his beautiful thoughts of his past when, Maan's mobile rang. "Hello?"
"*****."
"Tell Dad I'll be there soon with Mom."
Maan rushed home and went to the kitchen, where he saw his mother there with KM's servants. Maan attracted Garima's attention and asked her to come out quitely. Once, Garima came out of kitchen, Maan said that's its urgent as Dr. Raghupathi has called her. Maan and Garima went to inform Savitri Devi but found her sleeping and told Nakul and his wife Rampiyaari to be with Savitri Devi till the Khurana family returns. Meanwhile Maan called Kapoors as well.
When Maan and Garima reached the Khurana Hospitals, they found outside ICU, extremely worried Rishabh, Adi and Vicky. Seeing the three pacing up and down, Garima went near Rishabh and asked, "Suniye, aap sab ghabaraye kyun lag rahe hain?" (Listen, why are you all scared?)
"Dev jail se bhaag gaaya hai aur usne Geet mera matlab Gayatri par chaku se hamla karaaya hai." (Dev has broken out of jail. Today he got Geet, I mean Gayatri attacked by a dagger.)
"KYA?" (What?)
"Maa, woh toh luckily Dad aur mai time se pauhach gaye the warna bhabhi..." (Maa, luckily, Dad and I reached in time otherwise bhabhi...)
"Meera, kahaan hai?" (Where is Meera) Asked concerned Garima.
"Uska bahut bura haal hai ro rokar. Abhi AER mein hain magar thodi der mein Geet ko Operation Theatre (OT) mein shift karenge." (She is crying unconsolably. Just now they are in AER, but soon they will move her to Operation Theatre (OT).) Rishabh replied.
"Dad, Dev jail se kaise bahaar nikhla? Uski toh sazaa khatam hone mein do saal aur the. Maine patta..." (Dad, how could Dev escape? He still had two years in prison. I had checked...) Maan said controlling his temper in front of Garima amd Meera.
"Your source was misinformed, Maan Veerji. Please change your source as your source is incompetent. Just like our security personnel are incompetant. Otherwise my Bitto would not be in this condition. Maan Veerji please save my Bitto!" A broken Meera spoke coming from AER and would have fallen if Vicky wouldn't have supported her.
Just then Dr. Sudha Raghupathi walked out of AER with another doctor. By now Ram, Priya and Avinash had also reached. Garima went at once near Dr. Sudha Raghupathi and said, "Su, Gayatri ko kya hua hai? Woh theek toh ho jaayegi?" (Su, what is wrong with Gayatri? I hope she will recover soon?)
"One moment Rima. I suggest we all go to my cabin as this an extremely personal conversation."
Rishabh, Ram, Garima, Priya, Meera and Maan went in whereas Vicky and Avinash stayed out if anything is needed for the patient by its family. Once everyone was seated in Dr. Sudha Raghupathi's cabin, Dr. Raghupathi first introduced the doctor accompanying her. "This is Dr. Balashekhar, head of Department of Cardiology."
"Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor, your daughter was stabbed very close to her heart (Bringing gasp from everyone present in the room) and is presently extremely critical. I suggest you try and arrange O+ blood group for her. Excuse me!"
Once Dr. Balashekhar left, Dr. Raghupathi spoke to Priya, "Mrs. Kapoor as you are Ms. Ranawat's mother, I would like you to answer a few personal questions. Hence, I would request all you men to leave. I'll call you all in sometime."
Rishabh and Ram willing left but Maan refused to budge. "Mai kaheen nahin jaa raha. Kyunki..." (I'm going no where, beacuse I'm...)
"Kyunki Maan , Gayatri...sorry Ms. Geet Handa ke fiance hain!" (Because Maan is Gayatri...sorry Ms. Geet Handais fiance!) Garima completed.
"FIANCE NAHI PATI HOON!" (NOT FIANCE BUT HER HUSBAND!) Maan thundered producing a Marriage Certificate having both Maan and Geet's signature with yesterday's date.
Hearing Maan's words, Dr. Raghupathi let him stay. She again continued, "As I had informed you ladies few days back that Gayatri is suffering from what is called "Endometriosis".
"What is "Endometriosis"?" Maan asked.
"Endometriosis is a medical condition that occurs when the lining of the uterus, called the endometrium, grows in other places, such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries or along the pelvis. When that lining breaks down, like the regular lining in the uterus that produces the menstruation, it has nowhere to go. This causes cysts, heavy periods, severe cramps and even infertility." "So this is the reason that Geet was fainting again and again?"
"Yes Maan. Men can't even imagine how much pain a woman suffers during this illness its pain is next to labour pain. Infact sometimes pain due "Endometriosis" is even more disabilitating than labour pain. As the pain is excruiating and Geet is weak hence she keep fainting frequently."
"What is the cause for this illness? Is there no cure for this?" Maan asked shocked.
"Presently the researchers have not been able to find cause and cure of 'Endometriosis'. Only two things have been researched, one is that as this condition is due to hormonal imbalance, hence, it will automatically reduce once Geet approaches menopause i.e. Menustrual cycle stops! But that will take at least twenty years as Geet is only 25yrs. old. Hence simpler option to reduce Geet's pain and weakness is, that once Geet and you've become parents of two or more children, Geet undergoes hysterectomy i.e. removal of her uterus or womb. The only downside is that once Geet's uterus is removed, SHE CAN NEVER BECOME A MOTHER AGAIN !!" Shocking Priya, Garima and Meera.
"That is why Geet came to me for "sperm donation"?" Maan said understanding the reason behind Geet's request.
"KYA? YEH KAB HUA?" (WHAT? WHEN DID THIS ALL HAPPEN?) Priya was horrified.
"Chachaji (Ram) aur aapke aane se kareeb ek-do din pehle." (A day or two before Uncle and your arriving!)
"I was the one who suggested this solution." Dr. Raghupathi explained. "As at that time, Ms. Gayatri or Ms. Geet did not have any boyfriend, fiance or husband and she did not have any intention of getting married in near future, I had suggested her to get "sperms donation" so that she can concieve as soon as possible by "invitro fertilization" which is also known as "test tube baby"."
