Another desi kid straying off the beaten path in search of moksha!! That was hilarious! I love your writing. The language, the tone, the description of the scene - it's all perfect!!

What has gotten into Maan?? I know he is pissed off with Geet having the upper hand in this. So now he decides to take lead? Being the perfect husband - putting the bangles in her hand, asking for ashirwad, picking the tonga instead of auto-rickshaw, wanting to meet the in-laws!! Is he trying to tell her that he can do a good job at anything anywhere, if he really puts his mind to it?

Curious to know what craziness they are going to face at the Rathod palace!! Looks like Maan did not catch it when the guy said Rathod "Palace".

Query and Request.

Hi Readers!

I have a question for you. I know you are here because you are Maaneet fans and like to read stories based on them--in particular those with happy endings. But I know that many of you are also like me---you like to read all kinds of stories as long as they are good.

Being a writer who doesn't want to limit herself--I'm currently working on a couple of stories (not Maaneet, not FF) with themes that aren't necessarily romance. They are women's fiction and on topics some might consider controversial.

Nice update, wonder why is Geet so quite is it that she is worried to go meet her side of the family, or something happened in the past or is it that she is worried for her family's reaction to Maan ... liked the setting of the rajasthan backdrop, really miss visiting home, the kite festival and the connection of the fallen kite with a dead bird... need to lift her spirits soon,
