Okay. So the cat is out of the bag now. As heartwrenching as the update was, I would rather count this one in the list of happy chapters. No, I'm not sadistic enough to watch a grown man cry like a baby with guilt and regret over the actions he believes to be his. No. I have a couple of reasons for thinking this as a happy chapter.
One, Maan accepted Geet to be a sincere person and not the type he was blaming her to be. It was only a matter of time for him to see the truthfulness of her character and her feelings and see, here it didn't even take two whole days! Such was the power of love and truth.
Two, he spoke up and opened his heart to Geet. He confessed his grief, his guilt and as they say, sorrow shared is halved. In this case, however, it wasn't halved. It was completely eliminated. And it had to be, in front of the truth. Here also, it was a just a matter of time before he spoke his guilt to her and she'd know what was in his heart and the truth of it.
Three, she spoke too. It was very crucial for her to say it all. Everything that happened on that day and the way it happened. Because she was the only living witness of everything, apart from being the main character of the story, her words were as useful as they were futile without any proof.
Four, she knows clearly who the real culprit is. And he knows too. Although he might not admit it in front of her because, however the woman may be, she is still his Daadima. But I do want to see Geet a confrontation with Savitri devi as well as Maan's. I want to know if she would ever admit to being wrong.
Five, the proof of him being innocent. It was surprising to see where the safe had been hidden, but considering the fact that Savitri devi had been searching for the papers, I'm glad that it was hidden this way and the password was only known to the rightful person. My heart went out to Maan as he saw his parents happy and talking on that video, one that was made in a time he had forgotten.
Six, Maan could finally be free. He could finally break through the chains he had tied himself with, of guilt, of shame and of helplessness. It was a much needed freedom for him and his soul.
Seven, all barriers down, they both have happily accepted each other now. It was a miracle, indeed, but miracles do happen.
Eight, "snow".😃Surprised? Lol. But really, with this one word, there are so many memories attached of the show. The whole sequence of Shukran Allah and the proposal, the scenes before it, so much played right in front of my eyes and I can't wait to see what Geet expects as a proposal from Maan.😳
Nine, your promise to let him have his memory back. Although I tried to be positive at the time that Maan didn't get his memory back, (I liked to think that they'd shown an arranged marriage kind of situation whereas the love marriage situation had been shown previously) but I still couldn't squash the disappointments that he forgot all those beautiful memories he'd created with her. He never remembered how they met and fell in love in the first place. I so wish he had.
So yes, that's all I've got to say for now. A little too much, isn't it?😆
Anyway, one question is still unanswered. Actually, two. One is, how long ago did they part ways? Two, when did his parents die, if not when returning from this trip of Madhavpur when they accepted Geet?
