Next morning as all decided left the house one after another excusing different reasons. Maan and Geet wasn't aware of this. Geet awake and came in the hall area to greet Dadima and his parents. But she found no one like always so she asked the servant
"Mam there is no one in the house. Sir and mam had gone to marriage. Dadima to some relatives and Annie went to her friend's house for studies."
"And Maan?" She enquired suddenly.
"Maan baba is sleeping in his room." He replied and she smile unknowingly.
"He need coffee the moment he is awake?" She asked to confirm her doubt and he nods. "Ok then u do your work I will prepare coffee for him."
Geet thought its a right moment to talk to him. Though he had forgiven her but still not in talking terms with her so she thought to initiate.
Geet prepared the coffee for him and went to his room. She knocked and went inside. Maan had just awaked. He saw her with a dish and surprised. Not sure he was happy or felt awkward seeing her in his room so early when he was in a messed up state. He stood up and clean his bed,make it look appropriate.
"You here?" He asked.
Geet place a dish on his desk. "This is for you. Dadima tolds me about your routine." She start talking normally.
"Ya but why you brought it. I mean servant is there then y u took so much pain that too in d morning ." He was talking but not looking at her properly. Like he wants to avoid her.
"You didn't like it? I am sorry. But no one is at home and he was busy so I thought to help him." Geet told him and apologized to.
"No one Is at home? But where all vanished suddenly? No one informed me about their plans" Maan was surprised how suddenly all left without informing him. "Ok any ways thanks for the coffee." He gave a formal thanks to her.
Geet thought that may be he will stop her or say something but he was all silent. She wait fir him to finish his coffee but no reaction from his side. So she took a step ahead. "Pls come downstairs we will have bfast together." She invites him but with a doubt.
Maan just nodded and went to d washroom to freshnup
She lefts and got herself involved in the preparations of something spl for him. Which might change the bitterness of their relationship.
Though Maan don't wanna be rude to her but he was hurt.Even after trying harder her words echoing in his conscious.
After fresh n up Maan came to dining table and called for his breakfast. A small tray appeared before his eyes having a small chocolate cake on which I am sorry was imprinted with a strawberry sauce. Maan glance at the cake and then he tilted his head up,to glance at Geet who was looking at her with fear and hope filled eyes.
Maan stood up to face her. "Geet you don't have a need to do such things. I am already forgiven you." He told her softly.
"Then why you are avoiding me? Your tone your behavior all had changed towards me. I know I hurt so badly. But please stop treating me like this." Geet was almost on the verge of shedding tears from her almond eyes.
Maan raised his hand to cupped her face but then her words strikes and he snatched back his hands. "Geet when I said I forgive you,I meant those words. I really forgive you. But u should also undertstand that I am also a human being. I can't start laughing suddenly. I need time. I know things are spoiled between us and I need time to work on them." He told his side fears and thinking.
"Ok I won't force you for any thing. You need time I will give you. But could we talk like before? Maan you said ti me I had to told you about me and my anxiety. Share my self. But if you not talking then how would I?" She wants a surety that he still had a place reserve for her.
Maan stare her for few seconds. "I will. Let's start a fresh." He smile and she to.
"Then promise you will not avoide me and tell me what you feels." Geet asked for a promise so she could know him better and also how to made him comfortable again with her. He nodded. "And I promise I will share my fears and feelings with you. From now onwards we will share everything and will not hide anything from each other this is my promise to u. Geet stare in his eyes and he blinks to gave her surety.
"Now common let's eat this cake first before it loose its freshness." Maan distracted her to lighten the atmosphere.
"I think its yummy..." He remarked.
"But how would you say that. You don't even have a bite." Geet knotted her brows.
"Well the person who made such a wonderful coffee,wouldn't be a bad cook. I am sure this cake is also amazing like the coffee." Maan complaints her and she actually flushed.
"You like it?" She asked in excitement. "But..."
He replied before she completes. "I know that was from you. And yes its really superb." Geet noticed the crinkle near his eyes while smiling. He was not smiling to show. He indeed showing his happiness which made her heart bounce in a pace...
