Maan woke up to see himself alone in the room n he sat up with a jerk cursing himself to have slept last night ...don't know if geet even slept or ...he ran towards the washroom n upon seeing it empty he ran downstairs only to see his darling wify setting up the table with the breakfast ...he stood at a distance n admired her lost in her task ...a smile adorned his face seeing her finally out of her gloomy self ..he knew it would take time to forget the past few days horror but for the first time in a long time he felt her relax ...he felt her trying to forget it ..n that itself was a great step ahead from her side n now he had to just help her get out of those memories ...
Geet was actually trying to make a nice breakfast for maan even though it was late in the morning when she finally managed to get out of his embrace n decided to get things normals b/w them but she managed to make a decent break fast ...omelet bread ..jam ..n juice which she was about to pour in the jug ...just then she sensed someone's gaze on her ...n she turned only to find maan standing thr with a smile on his face ...looking at her ..admiring her ...she felt conscious under his constent gaze ..n her averted eyes ..those fidgeting fingers ...everything told him ...he looked away n cleared his throat trying not to make her any more uncomfortable ..

Geet heard the door bell n for a second it made her scared ...don't know y ..may be coz the police case wasn't over ...or may be coz she wasn't prepared to face her father again ...she couldn't forget him trying to kill her n certainly couldn't stand in front of him without breaking down ...but it surprised her to see ridhima standing in the hall with her parents when she walked outside her bedroom ...

She passed a fake smile n walked down ...ridhima's parents were the most loving parents a child could ever wish for even though Dr. Shashank wasn't her real dad but he loved ridhima more than anjali n the way he n padma aunty handled ridhima after she got to know it last year was commendable ..the gupta family has always treated her like a daughter n showered all the love on her as they did for ridz n anjali .. n here they were standing with open arms to embrace her n share her happiness when even her own family was busy conspiring against her n the person she loved ..may be it was all the emotions she was trying to keep at bay since this morning or may be because she was really in need of her mother to hug her in such a terrible time ...or what ever it was but when padma aunty hugged her in her motherly embrace she couldn't hold back her tears n she held her n cried in her embrace ..while maan chose to stand back knowing may be that's what she needs at the moment n for once he wished may be simi aunty should come n talk to her but then he didn't had her number ...or his mobile thanks to mohinder handa who broke it ...
After a few minutes ridhima went upto them n held geet ..wiping away her tears ..
