KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS [NEW DELHI]

Maan was pacing in his cabin like a wounded tiger! ... He was no less than a terror for his staff in these two days! ... Jay had some family emergency so both him and Shasha had to rush to his hometown ... So it was only our poor Adi ... who had to single handedly bear the brunt of MSK's temper!!


Though Adi made sure to keep the staff away from Maan ... thereby safeguarding their jobs but ... Now even he was running out of all options of ... how to calm Maan down?

Today was the third day and the situation was the same ... OUT OF CONTROL!!!!

Thankfully Shasha was on her way back and would be here anytime! Adi breathed a sigh of relief seeing Shasha entering the office.


"Whats the panic Adi ... tum itne pareshan kyun ho ... kya hua hain?" Shasha inquired.

"KYA HUA????? ... Khud aag lagati ho aur poochti hoon ke blast kyun ho raha hain?" Adi burst out on her.

"Matlab?" Shasha queried.

"Tumne hi Geet ko Shimla bheja tha na ... aur ab dekho kya ho gaya!" Adi yelled.


Not wanting to create a scene in the office Shasha and Adi both headed towards the cabin. Once inside the confines of Adi's cabin Shasha tried to calm down Adi.

"Relax Adi ... cool down and now tell me everything!"

Composing himself Adi narrated to Shasha the happenings of past two days specially about Maan's rage which had practically terrified the whole staff! ... One of the reason being the return of Maan's mom ... seeing his mother back home had triggered Maan's temper to another level!


And unfortunately Geet was the first one to face his wrath! ... As she was fired from her job!!

"What??? ... But how and why??? ... Maan didn't even overreact in Shimla ... right? ... Then why did he fire Geet ... now?"

" ... And how on Earth did Rashmi Aunty manage to come back home so early ...specially after what Maan had planned out for her." Shasha probed in.

"Yeah everything seemed fine in Shimla ... but hell broke loose once we were back!"

"That's exactly my question Adi ... why would Maan fire Geet now? ... This doesn't make any sense, if he was angry on Geet's arrival in Shimla he would have fired her rightaway ... Woh itna wait nahi karta!" Shasha added confidently.


"Kyunki Maan paagal ho gaya hain ... Shimla ka gussa Delhi mein nikal raha hain ... aur mujhe bhi paagal kar raha hain ... aur bahot jald poore office ko paagal kar dega ... Agar Maan shaant nahi hua na ... toh dekh lena hum sab paagal ho jaayenge!!" Adi nearly cried out in frustration.




"Stop overreacting Adi! And wait a minute ... Adi you didn't answer me yet ... how did Aunty come back so soon?" Shasha questioned again and Adi's discomfort clearly proved his involvement in this matter.


"Actually I had to inform Raj Uncle about the entire incident ...Maan was angry! ... but freezing all her accounts, leaving Aunty penniless is not a small issue ... this news would have created lot of problems for us ... it would have ruined our reputation!"


"Thankfully Uncle managed to reach there in time to help Aunty out of all that mess."


"Adi!!!! ... But now this has created more trouble us!" Shasha blasted.


"I know but Shasha this incident has actually made Aunty realize her mistake ... All her so called high society friends showed their true colours by taunting her , insulting her, making fun of her middle-class background ... And finally leaving Aunty alone ... in this mess!"


"And now Aunty is truly ashamed and sorry for her deeds but no one is ready to forgive her." Adi finished.


"Adi ... Rashmi Aunty's matter cannot be settled overnight ... nor it is easy for all to forget and forgive her so easily! ... So right now just let it be!"

"But the main question here is ... how are we supposed to find out ... why did Maan fire Geet?" Shasha queried clearly puzzled by the whole chaos around her .

"No idea" Adi muttered.

SOMEWHERE


"Just get lost all of u'll ... All of u'll are good for nothing!!! ...Ruined my whole plan!" A man barked in frustration.


His goons had failed in their mission. Due to bad weather there was a high alert and with so many police and army personnel around for helping and rescuing people trapped in the storm ... His goons couldn't take the risk of going ahead with their plan and had returned here empty handed!


"I have told you so many times MSK is too big to be trapped in these teeny-weeny plans. If he gets a slightest idea about these plans and your involvement in them ... You will be finished!!... We really need to be very careful!" Mehra warned him again.



"I'm not scared of him ... But now ... I have to go ahead with my main plan and only one person can do that for me!" The man announced."Who??" Now Mehra was curious to know which who was helping them against the Khurana's


"My trump card!... Keep patience ... You will know when the time is right!" He asserted slyly.

People who hide their feelings

Usually care the most!!



Pinky's call interrupted their conversation, Maan had called them in his cabin. Before leaving Shasha ordered Adi.


"Let me handle everything you just follow my instructions ... For God's sake Adi don't you dare take Rashmi Aunty's name in front of Maan ...Please don't mess it up this time!!" Shasha nearly pleaded the last line.Entering the cabin they saw Maan standing by the window, seeing Shasha he spoke.


"Shasha u back ... all fine na ... And Jay?


"Ya everything is fine now ... just got back ... Jay too is back but he has some important work so he will join us later." Shasha replied.


"And now getting back to business ... Maan ... I have already shortlisted few candidates for your new PA's post, since Geet is no longer working with us we need to recruit someone in her place . Would you like to check out their CVs?" Shasha added slyly.


Maan's hold on the paper weight in his hand tightened hearing Shasha's words, which wasn't missed by the Shasha's sharp and vigilant eyes .


While Adi nearly gasped at the sudden change in Shasha's attitude.

Adi looked at Shasha in shock but Shasha warned him through her eyes that he dare not spoil her game. Maan was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't realize Shasha was closely monitoring his every move.



"Waise accha hi hua Geet yahan se chali gayi ... she was anyways not fit for this job! ... Maan ka toh aadha waqt Geet ke peeche hi nikal jaata tha... hain na Maan?" She rubbed in.


"What do you mean?" Maan quickly reacted not one bit liking Shasha's comments for his Geet.


"I mean ... that she was finding it difficult to cope up with the work pressure here plus you had to go out of the way to teach her ... so much of your time was getting wasted na ... Kyun Adi what do u think?" She added cleverly.


Now Adi was in a fix ... trapped between both his friends ... One threatening him with her looks to support her and another gawking at him intensely as if one wrong word and ...


Past few days have been a nightmare for Adi and now he actually felt like running away from here! Luckily his better half came to his rescue!! The building tension in the room was diffused as his phone started ringing.

"Bach gaya!!" He literally muttered under his breath.


In any other situation he would have cut the call but right now he can't cos this call was his saviour ... to help him get out from this tricky situation. He was going to excuse himself on pretext of answering the call when Shasha spoke out.


"Adi please no calls right now!" Seems Shasha wasn't going to let Adi go so easily.


Poor Adi had to cut the call ... And he started framing the correct set of words so that his answer would please both his friends and he will be safe! ... But when he was just about to speak out, they heard a knock on the cabin door and visibly scared and worried Pinky entered in.


Now Maan was seething with rage ...already Adi and Shasha were testing his patience and now this Pinky ... He just couldn't control himself and burst out on her.


"What the hell is happening in my office ... And Pinky how dare you..." But Pinky didn't let him complete and at once rushed and stood next to Adi and pleaded.



"So.. So .. Sorry Siiir! ... for disturbing you but ... there is a problem ...outside... woh ... woh Adi Sir..." She started mumbling.


Shasha was quick to realize that it was something serious so she spoke out before Maan scares the hell out of Pinky.


"Relax Pinky ...its ok ...kya baat hain?" She calmly asked.




"Woh bahar do bacche ... Rajji aur Tito ... aaye hain ... bahot ro rahe hain ... Adi Sir se milna chahte hain ... Issiliye ..." She informed.


"Bacche ... Rajji aur Tito???" Shasha was confused.


"Shasha Mam woh Geet ke chote bhai-behen hain ... woh Adi Sir se abhi milna chahte hain ...kehte hain koi emergency hain!" She added further now nearly in tears fearing Maan's temper.


"Adi I think zaroor kuch badi baat hui hogi ... we should go out and check" Shasha at once turned to go out but stopped hearing Maan's words.


"Pinky ... unn dono ko yahan lekar aao!" He ordered.

For the first time ever in her life Geet had taken a decision! ... A decision her heart vouched for! ... A decision her soul longed for! ... And a decision her mind warned her against!! ... Still she took the decision she believed in!


She very well knew that this one step will break her ... shatter her ... doom her forever!



Yet she had gathered all her courage and had taken the bold step to steal some moments of her life ... live those moments ... for her love ... with her love ... and treasure these moments forever!!


Geet knew all this was a dream ... her happiness ... her fulfillment ... their togetherness ... his presence ... that secured feeling ... Everything was a dream!!! ... Which would be short lived and will disappear soon!



But she was happy and contended that atleast for sometime she got a chance to live her dream!


And as expected her dream castle shattered to pieces as reality came crashing down!!

Locked up in her room by her Mom ... her tears refuse to stop ... her body giving up cos now she has no more strength left in her to fight for herself ... Her hope to live is long lost! ... Only one person could save her from her doom ... but he had already thrown her out of his life!







The dream had ended! ... And the nightmare was about to begin!!


Standing at the threshold of her her doom still Geet couldn't help but remember the moments they spent together in Shimla ... however painful it is to face the reality ... memories which seem so distanced now ... yet remembering them brought a contended smile on her face and deep satisfaction within her!!




She didn't one bit regret taking that step! ... Those moments and memories were only her's!! ... Which will lay buried in her ...lifelong!!





SHIMLA COTTAGE
The Morning After ...




Magic happens on the threshold of forbidden!

When you believe in yourself!!




A heaviness had surrounded her ... her head was hurting ...it seemed someone had put pounds of weight on her head as well as on her body! Somehow she managed to open her eyes which refused to abide her command.


Through the gaps of the closed curtains she could see the rain had stopped but it was still dark outside.


The storm had passed and now everything seemed calm!


Geet tried to get up only to realize that it wasn't just her imagination but she was actually pinned to the bed by a mighty body!!


Shock... surprise ... fear ... uncertainty... confusion all of a sudden braced her!! ... Cluelessly she again tried to look around and then it dawned upon her that this wasn't her room ... they were in Shimla ... in Maan Sir's cottage ...in his room ... on his bed ... TOGETHER!!



She gasped in horror! ... And tried to move away but another blow awaited her ... with her attempts to get away the blanket covering them slipped a little unveiling the truth of last night!!



The cold chilly air hit her skin and jolted her out from the shock!


She quickly pulled up the blanket to cover up their bare bodies! ... Her body was partly shielded by Maan as he was sleeping over her , his head resting comfortably on her chest. Fear and embarrassment hit her together seeing herself here ... in this state with ... her Maan Sir!!




She was feeling giddy and restless ... the headache was not letting her relate to the happenings last night. She closed her eyes and tried to remember ... and then all the events started flashing in her mind.




Her coming to Shimla - showdown at the party - her falling in the pool - Maan saving her and bringing her to the cottage - his anger - that woman trying to drug Maan - her throwing that woman out of the house - her gulping down the drugged drink to stop Maan - Maan's outburst - a reality check for her - her coming back to him again - Her confession ... and ...



She at once opened her eyes ... though the effect of the drug made it difficult for her to remember everything that transpired between them last night but now Geet knew she had confessed her love to her Maan Sir and had ended every distance between them!!


She had surrendered her heart... mind ... body ... soul ... everything to him ...her love ... her Maan Sir!!



She turned a bit and slowly placed her palm on Maan's face slightly caressing it and whispered.

"Sir yeh raat meri zindagi ki sabse khoobsurat raat thi ... aaj ke din zindagi bhar ki saugaat di hain aap ne mujhe! ... Main nahi jaanti kal kya honewala hain ... Bas maine wohi kiya jo mere dil ki khwaaish thi! ... Maine apne aap ko apne pyaar ko saaunp (surrender) diya hain!! ... Inn kuch palon mein maine apni poori zindagi jee li hain!!"


"Main nahi jaanti ke aap ko yeh raat yaad bhi hogi ya nahi? ... Accha hi hoga jo aap ko kuch yaad na rahe! ... Lekin main iss raat ko kabhi nahi bhool paaungi! ... Mere dil ki baat jo maine kal aap se kahi aaj phir ek aakhri baar main aap se kehna chahti hoon! ... Shayad dobara kabhi nahi keh paaungi ... yeh sach mere andar hi dafn ho jaayega ke ..."


"Main aap se bahot pyaar karti hoon Maan Sir! ... Aap hi mera pehla aur akhri pyaar hain! ... Aaj main aap ki ho gayi hoon aur hamesha aap ki hi banke rahungi! ... Ab meri zindagi mein aur koi nahi aayega ... kabhi nahi!!" She asserted.


Pure love is the willingness to give everything!

Without a thought of receiving anything in return!!



A tear rolled down from her eyes, she closed her eyes to savor this moment!


She had confessed her love ... and this time in complete sense, not under an effect of any drug or drink ... she meant every word she had uttered now!!


She remembered her confession and kissing Maan but then only faint visions of Maan picking her up from the bar counter and both of them landing up in bed was all she recollected ... and then everything went blank!!



She flushed at the very thought of what must have happened between them last night. She started breathing heavily but her breath got caught up in her throat as Maan made a ...

"Ummm ... tch" sound clearly irritated for someone disturbing his sleep.


He moved a little and Geet grabbed that opportunity to move out the bed. She stumbled as her feet touched the cold floor, the severe ache gripping her entire body unabling her to even stand properly forget walking.



In her attempt to get up the blanket covering them got entangled and she let out a faint screech witnessing Maan's bare back ... So much tension ... so much attraction ... so much awareness was too much for her to handle and she couldn't take it anymore!



She nervously held the blanket and carefully covered Maan ... It was all so weird for her ... she was mortified with mixed emotions ... Getting a grip on herself she somehow rushed to pick her clothes to cover her bare self but the tattered state of her clothes clearly depicted the story last night!!



She picked Maan's shirt and wore it and somehow draped her torn saree around ... after covering herself modestly she picked up all her clothes and left limping to her room.



She didn't want to think anything ... she just didn't know how to react ... what to do ... all she wanted now was to go to her room before Maan Sir wakes up ... she couldn't face him!! ... Specially after last night!!


She rushed to the washroom, undressing herself she stood opposite the mirror but instantly turned around! ... Somehow she just couldn't bring herself to look at her own-self ... Her own body looked alien to her with numerous marks all over.



She was feeling shy... nervous ... scared ... so many emotions that were making her feel jittery!!


An eighteen year old girl felt like a woman today!!


Calming her restless self she turned again but this time her eyes settled on that one mark that adorned her forehead. She moved closer to the mirror and realized it was dried blood ... she panicked for a moment ... but then remembered Maan was hurt last night and she had done his dressing. Maybe his hand must have touched her forehead then.




A wide smile adorned her lips as she touched the token of her love!! ... She closed her eyes and thanked her Babaji


"Thank u Babaji aaj meri mohabbat poori ho gayi ... mere pyaar ko uski pehchaan mil gayi ... shayad unke liye yeh sab koi maayne na rakhta ho lekin mere liye meri bhari hui maang bahot maayne rakhti hain! ... Ek raat ke liye hi sahi main unki dulhan ban paayi! ... Mera sapna poora ho gaya!!... Thank u!"



She turned on the shower but as the hot water fell on her it stung her skin ... She was too sore ... tears rolled down her face as she tried bear the pain. She was still too innocent to realize what was happening ... what she has to do ... How will this pain subside etc.




But then again she smiled through her tears!!! ... for her the happiness of living her dream was much more than ... this pain that she was bearing now!!




She now knew that even if Maan remembers about last night it will just be a physical moment for him ... but for her it was not just physical! ... Geet cherished the moments of fulfillment of her love ... realization of her only dream to be only his! ... strengthening the emotional bond ... and treasuring the soulful union that she had created with Maan last night! ... It was something very special for her! ... VERY PURE!!




When pure love rules

There is peace and joy!!



Finally coming in terms with all the events that had transpired in her life in past few hours she dressed up and stepped out of the washroom ... she felt she heard the phone bell ring, she limped out to check ... as due to bad weather there was no network in their phones since last night. Thankfully the cottage intercom seemed to work. She answered the call.

Geet told the driver to stop the car at a considerable distance from the cottage. The very thought of going back to the cottage ... that means to face Maan Sir ... was scaring the wits out of her!!


Thankfully the clients call this morning had saved her for a couple of hours but now ... It was time for a reality check!


The clients wanted to discuss few important points about the project ... And Maan was still asleep, so Geet decided to attend the meeting alone. Though the clients weren't very pleased with the fact that The MSK didn't turn up for the meeting but then non had the guts to voice out their concern.



And Geet who was quite thorough with every detail about the project as she had attended all the meetings back in office, managed to clear out all their doubts assuring the clients about their project as well as making them aware that nobody questions MSK's decision.


He is the master of his game!!


Due to the storm the main roads were blocked but thankfully in-house cars of the resort were freely moving inside the premises. Geet got down from the car making an excuse to explore the place around, taking her own sweet time to reach the cottage.



Her heart started beating faster with her each step that took her closer to the cottage. She even hid behind the tree near the cottage and tried to ascertain whether Maan was awake or not.


A sudden splash sound alerted her and she walked ahead only to find Maan swimming in the private pool of the cottage. For a moment she was lost witnessing the sight ... the blue water sparkling in sunlight and his tanned, taut and gorgeous body clearly standing out amidst it! ... A weird urge to touch him rose in her ... the tingling feeling had again returned ... the desire was building up!!




He rose out of the water like a king and made his way to the diving board again ... Geet kept gaping at him ... gawking at his majestic walk ... every movement of his well toned body ... the water droplets slipping off his skin. She didn't even realize what she was doing until he dived in again and few droplets splashed on her. Reality hitting back that she needed to hide from him ... Instantly she made a rush back in the cottage before Maan sees her there.


But little did she know that her sudden movement was easily caught by his sharp eyesight! ... He had been waiting for her ... since hours!!

Half truth is dangerous!!!




He had woken up with a hammering headache! ... His body tired and aching ... he was still feeling dizzy, disoriented and restless. This was weird because he could well handle his drinks and has never face such issues before.



He looked around the room and recognized where he was. Removing the blanket he tried to move out of the bed when something hurt him, he picked it up it seemed like a fancy chain ... he tried to look at it closely ... it was a women's chain ... a waist chain ... and it was broken as if someone had pulled it harshly. His eyes flew open as his mind registered the details.




A women's waist chain in his bed ... He looked down at himself and everything made sense now ... his head was spinning now ... he tried to focus and recollect about last night. And all the events started flashing in his mind ... he remembered he had been drinking ... that woman had come here ... she was trying to seduce him.





"Did I sleep with her?" He tried to reason out with himself.


"Oh s*** whats wrong with me!!How drunk was I that I can't even remember what happened last night."


"Maan get a grip on yourself and focus!" He mumbled.


He remembered that woman luring him to drink ... trying to get close to him ... but he was angry ... angry on Geet!


"GEET!!!!" He was shaken up of his lost state.


"She was here? ... where is she now? ... did she see that woman? ... did she witness us together?" A series of questions raided his mind. Last he remembered bringing her to cottage his outburst ... and then telling her to sleep in the guest room.



But he needs to check on Geet now ... he got out of the bed but his reflection in the bedside mirror halted his steps ... he was not dressed ... he walked closer and the little doubt about last night was also confirmed.
The lipstick, nail marks, scratches were all so distinct on his body.


He shut his eyes in regret of not being in control last night. She was his responsibility ... she was innocent ...unaware of these things ... it was his duty to safeguard her ... he had been so careless ... witnessing such things will affect her young and naive mind!

He hated himself for being so reckless!!



He looked around the messed room for his clothes quickly getting into his pants and vest he checked the washroom but it was empty. Had that woman had left? He let go about that for time being cos right now he had to check on Geet.


But Geet was nowhere ... he inquired with the security only to be informed that she had gone to the main resort. He rushed back to his room to freshen up ... he needs to be with Geet.


He was so irritated and frustrated ... his head was aching ... he needed a drink to get over with this hangover . As he reached the bar counter it was in a mess ... glasses were broken ... blood droplets on the counter as well as on the floor ... then he noticed the bandage in his hand. His wound was nicely dressed!!





This was enough to alert his senses ... that woman would'nt have bothered to dress his wounds ... and she is missing ... he checked his wallet the cash was intact ... he rushed to check his wardrobe it was locked ... everything seemed to be in place. She didn't want money ... then why was she here ... what could be her motive?




He banged his hand on the counter in anger to have not been able to handle the situation ... he had failed ... that woman took advantage of his drunken state! ... But this was not normal ... why can't he remember what happened last night ... something is not ok ... the drink was not ok ... was it spiked?



MSK's brain had finally started functioning ...and then something caught his sharp eyes. Pills! ... his drink was indeed spiked. The rage was building in him ... he chugged down a couple of drinks ...resting his head on the counter he closed his eyes to control himself... And then ...



He could hear some faint voices ...

"Tumhari himmat kaise hui uss ladki ke saath aisa kar ne ki ... woh meri dost thi ... mujhe company dene aayi thi .."


"Sir woh ladki sahi nahi thi ... yeh drink ... iss mein kuch hain ... aap please isse mat piyo ..."


"Door raho mujhse Geet ...chali jao yahan se ... akela chod do mujhe ... chali jao..."


"Tum phir aa gayi .. samajhti kyun nahi main tumhare liye theek nahi ... jao yahan se"


"Paagal ho gayi ho tum ...hosh mein nahi ho tum ...jao yahan se .."


Unclear visions flashed in his eyes ... Geet and that woman fighting ... Geet pushing that woman out ... stopping him from drinking ... he throwing her out of his room ... then her coming back ... sitting on his lap ...dressing his wound ... And then she kissed him!!


Maan got up startled!!!!



Reality dawned on him ... Geet had thrown that woman out ... he didn't sleep with that woman ... it was not her but ...GEET!!!




He at once rushed to the bed ... pulled out the blanket ... the red spots on white satin bedsheet confirmed his suspicion ... her delicate jewellery was scattered around ... few tattered pieces of her white saree lying near the bed.



Everything was crystal clear!!! ... Leaving no room for doubt!!!

"It was indeed Geet!! ...She was the one ... I slept with her!! ... Did I force her? ... No!!! I had pushed her away ... many times ... But she didn't go ... Why??"



"GEET!!!!! Bahot galat kar diya hain tumne ... Main hosh mein nahi tha ... lekin tum?"


"I need my answers Miss Geet Handa!!! I'm waiting for you ... MSK is waiting for you!!!" He proclaimed.

Geet somehow managed to reach her room in time and locked it ... She wasn't prepared to face him yet ... she needed time to gather herself ... to find out about Maan's current temperament ... whether Maan remembered anything about last night or no?


Till then staying locked up in the room is the safest option!! She patted herself for this amazing idea!!



{Really!!! Me thinks jhalli and innocent Geet trying to gauge The MSK's reactions and intentions ... Not bad }
