Maan explained to Geet that he had thought he loved Piya but his love was limited to friendship
while yes she did love him whole heartedly they married because he was stubborn but he never felt with Piya the way he feels with Geet
he did hurt Geet by not telling her about Piya and further the day when Geet confronted him he again did hurt her as he was frustrated but he truly loves Geet
Geet than took a decision for divorce but both remained close friends and always spoke

this ending was lovely too
