After the argument in the lift, nothing was left between maaneet to speak..maan ordered geet to follow him..and she quietly did as he is the boss here..
Entering inside his cabin..maan directly went to his table and grabbed a file and then turned back to look at geet who was standing quietly waiting for his next order ..
Maan- geet why are u standing there ...come inside...
She took 2-3 steps ahead and looked at him..
Maan- why are u standing ..take ur seat..
Geet- instead of all this..why don't u assign my work first!
Maan- what's ur problem geet..here I'm trying to be sweet with u and instead of appreciating my efforts u are giving me this attitude!
Geet- I didn't ask u to be sweet with me..according to my knowledge u called me for work not for showing this sweet side of urs!
Maan- geet! But she cut him in between..
Geet- can u please assign my work or should I leave??
Maan was so surprised to see her this behavior..
Maan(st)- here I'm trying to be polite with her and she is only concern with her work..can't she notice my politeness for her...how I make her realize that I truly want to her in my life..this politeness is also not working..sighing he left his effort and concentrated in work..he told geet about the deadline of the project which was nearing ..that means she need to finish it off soon.. so that before they can the complete presentation for this project..
Maan- u should get started..i will check ur work progress time to time..
Hearing his orders , geet understood his motive behind him calling her in kc again and again..
Geet(st)- I'm understanding ur plan maan..but try as much as u can...my decision is firm..i can't lose to my heart again and fell in this trap of hope..hoping that finally my love is going to accepted ..i can't..i can't...what if after few days u find another fault in me and reject me for that...I won't be able to bear another rejection...i know after few days of try u urself will give away...just till that time I have to resist this closeness of urs ..that's it!, geet was firm on her decision and this time she had made herself stone hearted !
With determined mind she took her seat in his cabin and started with her work while maan got busy in his work...
Few hours passed , today maan doesn't had any meetings to attend so he was fully relaxed and was observing geet time by time..he observed she had a habit of putting pencil in her mouth while thinking something...
getting up from his chair..he moved towards her with slow steps..geet who was till now busy in thinking something , feelings his movements , she looked up ..the intensity with which he was walking towards her..made her heartbeats to quicken..to avoid him she averted her gaze somewhere else..but it was not so easy... coming next to her..he said something unexpected..
Maan- don't u think u its a bad habit??
Geet(with full confused face)- what??
Grabbing the pencil form her hand which was near her mouth , with his eyes he pointed towards it, this!
With questions in her eyes ,she looked at him.., her expression made maan to laugh a bit , when he again looked up..the smile from his face wiped off as he realized that he was dreaming ..he was still on his seat , he looked at geet..who gave him a weird look..as if he did something unusual..she shook her head and again got busy in doing her work
Geet(st)- what is happening to him..akele akele bina kissi baat ke mushkura rahe hai...ajeeb hai!
Maan few seconds later realized that geet might have watched him laughing that's why she gave that kind of look to him..
Maan(st)- tch tch maan..till now all ur ideas were big flop but instead of thinking something new ..u r daydreaming..kya hoga tumhara!, he glanced at geet once again seeing her busy he made a face..madam ko toh koi fraq hi nahi padta..oh god what should I do! His brain has stopped working on this matter..and it was irritating him.. thinking to have a coffee so that he can relax his mind he got up to leave..
While working geet got a doubt , there in dc is was easy to clear her doubts as meera or yash were always there to help her but here she has no one.. she can't even ask nishi as she knew she will only taunt her which will spoil her mood so its better not to face her , then she thought about maan..but then there was hesitation..but soon shrugged her all hesitation and thought to ask him only... but when she looked at him..he was just about to open his cabin door..not to lose the chance she immediately got up and called him..maan... by the time maan has opened the cabin door..
Hearing her call maan looked at her ..but she was in so hurry that her foot got tangled with the carpet due to which she lost her balance and landed directly in maan's arm..
It happened in a blink of an eye that nobody got the time to think..with one arm maan was holding his cabin's door while his other arm was wrapped around geet's waist..
Scared geet looked at maan,while seeing geet so close to him maan was lost in her..
But all this was witnessed by the staff of KC too who were present there at that time... for the first time in history they witnessed there boss with a girl in his arms.. all were looking at the couple dreamingly while one pair of eye was burning in hatred..controlling her anger she left from there!
While maan was still lost in nahorfying geet ..by the time geet composed herself from the fear of coming fall.. till then whatever has happened has happened already..she looked at maan who seems to be another world altogether , then her eyes landed on his staff who were giving them weird looks and were whispering something between themselves ..this made geet uncomfortable.. she immediately wanted to get out of his grip but he!
Seeing her disturbed facial expressions , out of concern maan asked her..
Maan- geet ..what happened?
Geet- maan...please leave me!
Maan- hua kya??
Geet- maan why are u making scene infront of all..please leave me!
Maan- all???
Geet rolled her eyes on his confused reply , with her eyes she pointed in the direction of staff..maan followed her eyes movement and soon his eyes landed on his staff.. shocked , embarrassed all these words would be an understatement to describe his current situation .. but still maintaining his calm and composed attitude , he pulled geet upwards and made her stand..
Maan- are u okay??
Geet- hmm..
Maan- a.. but geet didn't even allowed him to complete his word as she left inside the cabin again...
Maan closed his eyes in utter frustration, Maan(st)- what non sense things u r doing maan!, after cursing himself he took a step forward but stopped again when he saw his staff still there
MSK - WHY U ALL R STANDING HERE? GET BACK TO WORK! , hearing his roar all literally ran from there saving themselves from their angry boss!
Maan entered in the cafeteria of his office which was almost empty at this time.. his mind was still busy in cursing himself when a voice from back stopped his cursing session! Maan turned back and looked at nishi..
Nishi- why are u doing this??
Maan- what exactly I'm doing??
Nishi- u already know that geet loves u..right??and according to my knowledge not once but god knows how many times u have rejected her love!...then why now u r playing this game??
Maan- game??
Nishi- yes game!
Maan- I'm not getting u..what do u exactly mean??
Nishi(smirked at this)- MSK , not getting my words, strange!..anyways leave it!
Maan- nishi stop talking in riddles..and come to the point directly!
Nishi- okay..the game which u r playing with my sister..after rejecting her love still u r coming close to her, do u even have any idea in what way ur closeness might be accepting her.. she is insanely in love with u..i have seen her suffering when u rejected her for first time..how broken she was when u rejected her again that she took that step.....she closed her eyes to control her emotions , after composing her anger she looked at him..maan was already guilty for his doings and nishi repeating them once again made him more guilty , he didn't have power to face her directly , he averted his gaze from her.. u have broken her so much but still she is stupid ..that she is still accepting her love to be get reciprocated!
Okay she is stupid but u r not..right?? please stop coming close to her , ur closeness will only give her hope..a hope which will shutter her more.. u know and even I know that u will not accept her in ur life then why... But this time maan cut her in between..
Maan- no..this is not right nishi...u r wrong.. I have realized my mistake nishi..i agree I have been very cruel with geet but now I can't change the past..whatever has happened has happened I can't sit back and curse myself for the past because I know it will not be of any use.. I love geet ... and her happiness lies with me..i know I have done a mistake not to accept her love as at that time I thought it as an infatuation but with time I realized that I do love her..its not just an infatuation but when I realized it was too late..damage was already done by me..but now I want to rectify everything that's why I'm trying to bring geet close to me..its not a game..its my genuine try!
Nishi was tongue tied after hearing his reply, she never expected maan to accept geet's love..
Nishi- no u r lying!
Maan- believe me nishi..i really do love her...I want to have her in my life again..right now she is not ready to accept me but I understand her..after all.. I do deserve this but at the same time I also know that she loves me a lot and one day my tries will be fruitful she will accept me again..
Nishi didn't said anything , her silence made maan to think that she needs time to sink in this truth..
Maan- I know u might be finding it hard to digest that I love geet but its true..i hope after knowing this u will help me in my mission..hopefully maan said..

But instead of any warm reply , she gave him a cold look and left from there..
Rest of the day passed in same manner for maaneet busy in their respective work , today geet left at right time..maan knew she will not accept his offer of lift so he silently followed her in his car till she reached safely at her home!
sitting on the bed..she glanced at the photo frame kept next to the bed..seeing the smiling faces of them , an automatic smile came on her face too..grabbing the frame from table she caressed the pic..
wish everything becomes like before...but...soon the happiness transformed into grief..u r not supporting me...why don't u understand me...only for u i'm doing this..but..a tear escaped from her eyes while saying this... whole life i only thought about u..about ur happiness but u..., why don't u understand me for once...why?
with that she broke down...
geet..why that maan is so important to u ...he had given u so much pain still u r with him ..why??????
I know my harsh words hurt u..but u have not left any other way for me...
Why don't u understand being with maan will give u pain only...how can u be so blind in love???
