5 YEARS LATER
A car was moving towards its destination in its normal speed but inside the car, a girl was weaving her dreams about her future..
So much have changed in these 5 years..she herself has changed so much..she have grown up ...sitting beside the window..geet traced the way from hoshiyarpur to delhi..she was again going back to delhi ...
Again back to that place from where her origin started ...leaving behind her new found family..when for the first time she came to hosiyarpur she was very nervous about the new surroundings and new people around her but with the time she adjusted with all..though the men of her family were quite conservative and strict but females of the family were quite loving and caring..at times she used to miss her family a lot..wish she can also go with them but her cousins use to cheer her up at that times..
While on the other hand..Raj and Maya never forget geet..in the span of 6 months they always go there to meet geet and know about her well being.. like this 5 years passed quickly..geet completed her school now it was time for her to join college but there in hosiyarpur there was no college plus the handa's were not in favor of sending geet out.. when raj and maya came to know about this issue they suggested to send geet along with them but handa's put a condition in front of them..if they want to take geet along with them first they have to marry geet with dev.. ..maya and raj were not in favor of this because according to them dev is still studying he himself is not that grown up to take these responsibilities..
But after lot of arguments and making handa's understand about geet proprieties and her future and getting assurances from khuranas about her safety , they agreed to send her with khuranas..
In geet's room
After getting the permission from darji , geet was packing her stuffs to leave when raji and titoo (her cousins) came in her room
Raji- di how lucky u r ..u r going to study in college that too in delhi!..
Titto- waha jake aap toh hume bhul hi jaogi..u will get ur old friends na..
Geet- nahi toh..i will not forget u both!
Raji- sachii..
Geet- muchii!.. I will call u both..mujhse phone pe baat karna..
Titto- phir thik hai..waishe di..aap sabse jada kisse milene ke liye excited ho??
Raji- ye bhi koi puchne wali baat hai off course dev jiju se!, cheerfully she said.., which made geet smile a bit..
Her packing were almost done , only last thing was left to pack..turning back she looked at the photo kept at her side table and held it..
Titto- no..raji di u r wrong..geet di is more excited to meet him.. he snatched the pic and pointed towards maan's in that photo.. haina di??
Raji- arre hai..dev jiju se jada aap toh inke bare me baat karti ho..geet smiled at both their assumptions as somewhere they both were right!
so here she was moving towards delhi...
Excited as well as nervous about her future she was lost in her world when maya called her..
Maya- geet??, hearing her call geet came out of her trance..
Geet- ji...
Maya- excited about going back to delhi??, to which she smiled back and answered
Geet- hmm excited and nervous too..after a pause.. aunty.. is everything is same like before.., geet's this question left maya in her thoughts but to answer her she replied -hmm
Geet- how is dadima??
Maya- she is good , pata hai she is eagerly waiting for u there!
Geet- and maan...curiously and bit hesitated she asked to which, maya looked at her briefly but didn't answered her question instead she diverted the topic somewhere else..
Maya- by the way don't u want to ask about dev..teasingly she asked ,her teasing tone made geet to feel shy.. like this there journey got completed ..
Evening..
After a long journey finally..Maya , Raj along with geet entered in KM, before entering , dadima welcomed geet by doing her aarti ..geet bend down to take her blessings
Dadima- always be happy ..my child!, caressing her face..her eyes got filled with tears.. badi ho gayi hai humari geet..ander aaeye..
Geet looked at the walls of km...the dcor of the house was completed changed from before...but still the homely essence was there..
Maya- nakul..geet ka saman new room mei rakh do..
Nakul- ji.., taking geet's luggage nakul went towards her room..
Raj- so geet finally u r here again..koi bhi problem ho mujhse aake keh dena thik hai!
Geet- ji..
Maya- now go and take rest..u must be tired!
Geet- hmm
With that both raj and maya left towards their room.. while dadima was still observing geet.. which made geet bit uncomfortable..
Geet- what happened dadima??
Dadima- kuch nahi.. u left from here as kid and now..waqt kitni jaldi beet jaata hai pata hi nahi chalta...
Geet- hai..sometimes I wish that why can't everything remain same like before..but...sighing she left the sentence in mid..
Dadima- change is the only thing which is constant in this world geet..and I'm happy that u have adjusted urself with this change unlike others..her sentence left geet to think that something is not good here..seeing geet lost , dadima thought to divert her mind.. for the first time I saw u this suit salwar..u r looking beautiful..
Geet blushed a bit on her compliment- thank u dadima..
Dadima- come with me..i will show u ur new room..
Geet- ji..
They were climbing the stairs ..all the memories of her childhood was getting fresh in her mind...soon she saw the same huge portrait of her parents hanging at the same place like before but this time not alone as it was accompanied by the portrait of her sister too...seeing them her eyes got filled with tears automatically and her steps halted there only..
Dadima understood her condition , she held her shoulders to support her..geet wiped her tears controlling herself..
Dadima- r u okay..
Geet(in chocked voice)- hmm..dadima they all left me...after maa and papa passed away reet di said that she will always be my side but then she too left...jaana hi that toh mujhe bhi leke chale jaate...
Dadima- shh..geet..aisa nahi bolete..they were destined to go ..we can't do anything...shh..control urself!
After so many days geet cried her heart out in front of their portraits..after few minutes she was able to control herself..she looked at dadima who wiped her tears..to make the atmosphere light she commented..
Dadima- geet everything is changed except ur cry baby nature..kab ona band karogi.. geet understood her effort to make the situation light so she too played along with her
Geet(while pouting)- kya dadima aap bhi..both smiled at each other and then again started to proceed further..
Moving through the corridors..geet heartbeats fasten remembering about what's going to come next now..it was maan's room..geet wanted to ask about maan but the kind of reply she got from maya increased her hesitation ..so she didn't..they passed by his room..dadima was saying something but her talks were falling on deaf ears as geet's whole attention was on the closed door of his room.. without making it obvious to dadima she touched the door knob and the memories were again refreshed her mind.. when for the first time she witnessed his anger!
Flashback
It was two days after reet's demise .. geet was silently having her lunch..when nakul came downstairs informing dadima about maan that he refused to have his food..
Dadima- kya kare hum maan ka..its has been two days since he haven't eaten anything..like this he will spoil his health.. worriedly she said..
Geet felt bad about it..and thought that she will herself go and serve him his food..silently picking his plate from table she moved towards his room..
To her luck his room's door was already unlock..pushing the door silently she peeked inside it.. maan was there sitting on his bed lost in his thoughts..
Without knocking she entered inside and moved close to him..maan was so much lost that he didn't even get to know about someone's presence inside the room..
Geet looked at him and then at the plate..keeping the plate on table she called him..
Geet- maan..
But he didn't replied.. she again called him but the response was still same , at last she touched his hand and called him..which showed its effect as he looked at her.. after reet's demise it was first time when geet looked at maan this closely.. his eyes were red..he looked pale..seeing him like this an unknown emotion clenched her heart ..
In chocked voice she called him, maan.. , diverting his eyes from her he replied
Maan- kya hai geet??
Geet- woh.. ur lunch..
Maan- I don't want to have it..take it back!
Geet- but..maan..
Maan- take it back geet!..
Geet- but why are u not eating anything..dadima says.. but maan cut her in between..
Maan(angrily)- geet leave me alone!
Geet- dadima says like this u will spoil ur health..please have ur lunch..innocently she pleaded
Maan was getting irritated with geet's constant nagging and it was increasing his anger..
Maan- geet go!, for the last time he warned her..
Geet- but.. and that's it his patience level broke and with his hand he threw the plate angrily.. and shouted at her
Maan- DON'T U UNDERSTAND..JUST GET LOST FROM HERE!!!!
His this action shocked geet..when he threw the plate with that anger she was shaken up from inside with the fear...she was blank at that moment not knowing what to do..grabbing her hand , maan dragged her out of his room and pushed her out.. giving her angry look , he forcefully shut the door on her face !
Geet was completely shaken up with that incident!
End of flashback
From day till now..the fear of facing maan was still inside her heart but still she wanted to see him once..she wanted to know about him...in this 5 years he never came to see her for once ..she always thought that he is still angry on her that's why he never came..
