ALL students were in class when peon came inside and gave one letter to professor. He read and informed all students that Maan got scholarship. Because of professor all appraise otherwise no one is interested. Where as all want to get rid of this boaring lecture, Geet turn gloomed. She turn numb as she really need this scholarship. Later she missed her lecture and sat alone at canteen's back side. She trying to be strong but her tears betrayed. Adi and Pinky console her but they were also helpless. She moved with them for a class.

Whole day was not so good but every day bring something new. Next day when Geet arrived in college she got principal's summon. She went in his cabin and he informed her that she got scholarship now she doesn't need to pay the fees.

Geet was amused. "But sir yesterday professor Sharma told us that Maan got scholarship." She was confused and surprise to.

"Yes he told you right. Maan was the one who got scholarship, but yesterday after classes he came and give up his right. He said he don't need so I can give to another deserving candidate, which is you. So enjoy and go for your classes." He revealed how she got even after coming on second position.

Geet was still in shock. The person she hate most actual help her and without even showing. In class professor Sharma congratulate Geet for getting scholarship. All are confused but Maan appraise and congrats her with a smile. He don't even show a sign of his kindness he showed.

Pinky and Adi asked but due to lecture she don't able to tell. As soon professor left all students leave class for another lecture and Geet told her friends everything. She wants to thank him but not getting a chance. Finally in lunch time she found him in canteen. "Can I?" She asked and he raised another chair for her. "Maan I want to ask why you give up?"

He was waiting for his mouth get empty which was filled with his burger. Geet is waiting so he gulp fast and his food pipe blocked because of eating fast and he coughed badbadly. Geet gave him water and stroke his back so he got some relief. "Thank you or else I will die." His breath still halted but he showed gratitude while sipping water.

"Maan pls ab ise aram se pio." She cautioned and sat back and asked again why he give up.

"Coz you deserve it." He said simply taking one more bite of his burger.

"Please tell the truth. I know you were happy with the news then why?" She insists.

"Wo actually I overheard your convo with your friends last day. I am sorry but you arr crying and when some one is crying I don't like. Sorry maine tumhari bat suni." He apologise for hearing her talk secretly. "But now you are happy na?" He asked meekly. Maan was feared of her reaction.

Geet was staring him amusingly. He was so simple and innocent. Before she said anything Sameera came there and called him. Same time his all attention shifted to her. He even leave his yummy burger which he relish few seconds ago. "Maan I need your help." Sameera asked making baby face.

"Hi. Ya please tell." He asked in a excited tone and Geet shook her head on his behaviour.

"Maan aaj sir ne jo project diya hai that was not possible for me so can you please do it for me?" Professor gave project to all students and now she wants Maan do her project to.

"But Sameera ye to cheating hui na. If I do your project how will you learn?" He asked innocently.

"Call me Sam. Remember I told you my friends call me Sam" she sais in a husky voice and Geet getting the feel of disgust how Sameera manipulated him.

""So It means you consider me your friend?" His voice and eyes reflecting the excitement.

"Ofcourse you are. Now tell me cant you do a little help of your friend? And I promise I will read all notes." Sam convinced him by her sugar coated talk and he swayed away in her web she weaved.

Sam caressed his chubby cheek and left. Maan was on cloud nine as he was in a illusion that Sameera accept him as a friend. Geet patted on his shoulder and brought back to earth.

"Maan I came to thank you. Thanks once again." She saod thanks and start leaving but then stops. "Maan meri ek baat manna. Its good for you. Don't trust anyone. You are so simple and innocent but others were not." Geet cautioned him and left for her class. But Maan failed to get her signals.

A very dashing and eye catching featured man sat on a head chair of dining table. When two women of the house joins him. He was none other than but the owner of Khurana Empire, business tycoon Samarth Singh Khurana and two ladies were his wife Arpita khurana and his mother Savitri khurana.

Maan came to join. He wish all and sat next to his grandmother. His eyes were lowered like he don't want to face.

"How's your day beta?" Savitri devi asked from Maan.

"Very good dadima." He said in a happy tone but not look upwards.

"Mom asked your baby why he give up his scholarship." Samarth sounds sarcastic and all were confused.

"Maan tumhare dad kya keh rahe hai?" Arpita interrogate.

Maan was silent which made Samarth angry. "Speak up damn it." He shout on him, dumping his spoon in plate with a force and Maan shivered.

"Samarth this is not the way treating your son. He is not a kid any more. Bada ho gaya hai. You can ask the same thing bit softly." Savitri devi raised objection on her son's behavior.

"Ya right he grown up and with that his fat to growing rapidly. Just look at him mom, mujhe to saharm aati hai ise bahar introduce karte hue bhi. How many times I told him to control his eating and do exercise but no he never pay heed on my words. Kha kha k football ho gaya hai." Samarth's bitter words pierced into his heart. It was almost daily happened except when Samarth was on his business tours.

Maan stood up and push away his plate in anger and ran towards his room. Savitri devi grew angry and stood up leaving her food. "Samarth how could you? He is your son and you don't even let him eat. Bhukha hi chala gaya mera bachha. I will not forgive you." She annoyed.

"Ye bachha bol bol kar hi apne use bigada hai.I am not his enemy. I too want his good." Samarth defends.

"But this is not the way." She was disappointed and left the table.

"Aap usko aaram se b to samjha sakte the na? Ab mumma b naraz ho gai or wo bhi." Arpita calming his anger.

"Its all your fault." Samarth scold her to.

Savitri devi knocked on his door and went inside. Maan was sat on his bed making grumpy face. Savitri devi sat near her grandson. "Chaliye gussa chhodiye or khana khaiye. Aap jante hai na if you not eat I too skip my meal." She trying to made him agree with all tactics.

"I won't eat anything. Dad always scold me." He cribbed cutely.

"Maan bete you know your dad. His way is rough but he wants your good beta. Apko pata hai na fatty hone se kitne problems hote hai. That's why he wants you do exercise. He cares for you."

"No he don't. He only cares for his reputation. He felt ashamed as all make fun of me.," Maan was depressed and eating chocolate chips in a pace.

Dadima mute but she dont want that he hate his dad. "Bas keejiye ye sab mat khayie. Or ye to btaiye why you give up your scholarship?" Dadima diverted his mind.

Maan allowing his head to take rest in his dadima's lap. He was silent so dadima stroke his head and kissed on his hairs softly. "Maan is everything okay? Aap hume bata sakte hai." She know how to handle him.

Maan was busy in playing game on his mobile but when dadima insist he replied shortly. "Dadima I don't need scholarship. Apko pata hai mere give up karne se kisi or ko chance mill gaya, jise uski zada zarurat thi."

A wide smile crept on her lips. "Or ye or koi kon his?" She interrogate her grandson with curiosity.

"Hai meri classmate Geet. She needs scholarship. Dadima she was crying and you know. ..."

"Ki humara beta kisi ko rote hur nahi dekh sakta." She completed. "Achha ye to bataiye is she is your friend?" Dadima know Maan don't have a friend so when he took her name she thought now might some one become his friend finally.

"Na", he told briefly.

"Why?" She asked. "She is not good?" Dadima try to read his heart.

"I don't know."Maan is just ignorant as he was hungry and his stomach troubling him.

"Then try to make her your friend." She suggests.

"Dadima pls give me something to eat. Please dadima I am dying." He pleads and she like always smile on his small kid behavior. She kissed him and leave to brought food for him.
