Res
finally, I got a chance to read. *pheewww*
You know everytime I read your update, it always feels like a slice of life has been served to me. and there is nothing in this that I have not witnessed or haven't undergone. and that simplicity darling is the beauty of this story.
Jo hota hain... tum wo darshati ho
Jo real hain...jo normally har ghar mein hota hain...and bringing that out is not an easy task either.
for intance, I have never been able to write something this simple with such profoundess that it almost puts me to shame.
khair, coming back to the update... jaise anu di (hermosoanu) ne kaha... ye tho hona hi tha. this is Indian family. You don't get married to one person. you get married to an entire family. and jab aisa hota hain tho expectations bhi badh jaati hain sabki. but what happens when the two people are not happy? It is not easy in this scenario to even just take a break from everything for a while, sort things out and clear their minds.
that is exactly what happened with maan and geet here,
and one decision has triggered a storm in both the houses.
And when things go chaotic, we always try to find people or things to vent out our minds and that leads to the blame game, which is happening here.
everyone has something to say. everyone is angry and they are taking it all out on each other... even rano and mohinder are no exception. Its really sad to see titu witnessing this from his favorite couple. it will defintely leave a long lasting impact on him. Dev and Tara were not spared too.
whatever I say now will just be a mere repetation of what anu di has told so beautifully so I will leave that there.
but there is something else i wish to point out that I absolutely loved.
It was the dev-maan relationship...a much needed one to show where dev stands and why,
it is always easy to blame the man for every wrong done to a woman but it is hard to see things from a man's point of view.
Maan had been a lonely child and it was Dev who had made him to love again, trust again and bring him out of the misery that he had been. the fight scene where he punches and hits dev was heart-breakingly beautiful. the agogy of a child who has lost his parents and how he vents out. Dev did a wonderful job. Sometimes it is just enough to remain. A presence. A mere presence is just enough for people to hold on to that and sail through the misery. Dev was and perhaps IS that presence for Maan. That scene was just too beautiful to me...and I wish to see more of them in further updates too. that brotherly bond that they share...i want to see more of it. they are just cousins but i believe they are more than that. Absolutely beautiful.
That poem... indeed tells the story of what is happening here. Winged birds are caged in gold and silver but asarfiyon mein kaisi khushi jo kankad se khelne mein milti hain. mehelon mein kaisi khushi jo khule maidanon mein milti hain...
everyone has a story...and that story they haven't been able to tell because he/she has been thrown into a cage called 'society'. That is what I make out of the poem. So many unsaid stories remain to be told...so many poems to be recited but who will understand that and let us pour it out???
I am really excited for the next update Commelina.
Remember, You are Awesome.
Do continue soon.
love
