Maan slammed the door angrily & sat on the sofa in his study room. He was angry...angry on himself. For the first time he misbehaved with his Dadi, his only family. He shouted on her...why...because he doesn't want to get married. But he can't make his Dadi understand this. She's right in her place but he's Helpless...Maan Singh Khurana is feeling helpless. Today he clearly told his Dadi that he's not interested in marriage & he won't be interested ever. He cud clearly the pain on her face when he said it. He knws Dadi loves him the most & after his parents death his Dadi spend every single day on him just to make sure that he doesn't feel any emptiness in his life. But in return he cant give this happiness to her Dadi...he just can't be selfish..No...he can't lie...No...he cant ruin someone's life...No...NO is the only answer he's getting from his mind, heart. & soul.
Geet just closed the door & fell on her bed. She was crying like hell...because for the first time she raised her voice in front of her parents & argued with them...why...because she doesn't want to get married. But her parents don't wanna listen to her. She tried to make them understand that she wants do to something in her life..today she told them clearly what she wants to do in her life...and she cud see the rejection on her parents face. She loves her parents and respect them a lot but it doesn't mean that she loves her dream less. All her life she did what her parents wanted her to do. She knws her parents love her a lot & want the best for her...they did a lot for her but in return she can't leave her dream...she can be a little bit selfish...yes...she can hide the truth...yes...she won't let anybody ruin her life...yes...YES is the only answer she's getting from her mind,heart & soul.
Doctor told Maan that Savitri Devi's BP was high & she should not take any stress. But Maan knws that he's the reason for Dadi's sickness. Maan took a deep breath and he went to Dadi , hold her hands and told her that he's ready for marriage. Dadi was the most happiest person at that time. But Maan told her that the final decision will be his.
Geet's elder sister came to Geet's room and tried to make her understand that marriage is not that bad. Their parents chose a perfect partner for her and they'll do the same for Geet.Geet's sister practically warned her not argue with their Father about marriage...anyhow he's health is not good & Geet's arguments are making things worst. Geet took a deep breath and went to her Father, she sat on her knees in front of him & told him that she's ready for marriage. Geet's parents was first shocked but then they become very happy. But Geet told them clearly that the final decision will be her.
Though Maan agreed for marriage but he's still a very Busy man. He cudn't join her Dadi to watch the next girl...the fourth girl in a row. Maan was fed up meeting these good for nothing girls who can talk only about shopping & fashion. Dadi went to the girl's house & talked to girl's parents. They knw about MSK so they didn't mind for his absence. They desperately wanted to fix this marriage coz they know this will be the best for their daughter. Maan told Dadi to send the girl at XYZ restaurant at 2 pm...he got one hour off as his meeting will start at 3pm.
Geet was hell irritated now. First for the past two weeks she's meeting some idiots who called themselves boy...and now she has to go out to meet the fifth number boy for the marriage. And on top of that her parents were telling her to behave like a good girl as if she's bad...huh! Finally she reached to XYZ restaurant. She went to reception & told abt MSK & they took her to him.
Maan was talking on phone...when Geet first saw him...she was kind of staring at him. He's so Handsome...she thought. And then she came back to reality when Maan ended his call & looked at her. Geet went closer to the table and though to introduce herself first but when she saw him...he was kind staring at her. She's so Beautiful...he thought. Geet was feeling uncomfortable but two minutes ago she was doing the same.Maan noticed the uncomfortness..and cleared his throat.
Maan : Hi...I am Maan Singh Khurana.
Geet : Hey...I am Geet Hada :)
Maan : Pls sit.
Geet : Thanks
Maan : So temme what kind of life partner you want & what are your expectations.
Geet : Ummm...I want someone who will understand me, respect my decision & will be loyal in our relationship. And most importantly who will give me some freedom.
Maan : And...
Geet : And...nothing...that would be enough for me.
Maan : Hmmm...then what about the money you want for your study...for your Dream.
Geet : Shocked !
Maan : Don't worry..it's nothing impossible for MSK to get some information about the girl with whom he's meeting for marriage.
Geet : No...nothing like that...I...I don't wanna marry you for your money.
Maan : Then why would you marry me...as far I knw you wanted to study on ur dream subject and you were not interested to get married. Just because your father won't give u any money for ur study & he will also not allow you to work...you are giving up on ur dream.
Geet : No...I'm not...I won't give up on my dream for anyone.
Maan : Then what will you do ?
Geet : I will work after marriage & I want to continue my study after marriage with my own money.
Maan : Hmmm...good...very good. But did you calculate how many years it gonna take just to collect first year fees for ur dream institution.
Geet : I...I...
Maan : You didn't. I know you are very talented & can get job in any company but then it will take at least two years to collect the fees for that institution you wanna join.
Geet : I..I'll work hard...and...and I'll wait for that day...
Maan : Come on ! Why the hell you are gonna wait for two years when I can pay the fees for you...as your husband.
Geet : Huh...what !
Maan : Yes...but you just have to agree to my one condition.
Geet : Wha...what condition?
Maan : After marriage...We will never have any physical intimacy with each other...Never Ever.
Geet : WHAT !
Maan : Yes...Now the choice is yours...your Dream which you always wanted to come true or Sex which you don't even need.
Geet : But...I mean...I...
Maan : It's okay take your time...I'll wait...but just remember that I can understand you, I can respect your decision, I can be loyal to this relationship for lifetime & I can give not some but a lot of freedom But in return you just have to agree with my this condition.
Saying that Maan left for his meeting leaving a shocked & confused Geet behind.
