PART - 36
After a long time all reached to their long back left home- KM. All servants are also happy to see Maan back with them. They quickly came and welcome him. Samarth command all to rest first, and show Meera her new room. Atharav hold Maan's hand and dragged him to show him everything like he was new to KM. He show him, his room which he hardly used as most of the time he either stay with his dadu or play in a garden. But his room reminds Maan of his childhood. When he first enter KM at the age of 8 his father gifted him a room full of toys and all other necessary items. Maan bend on his knees. "Your room is so beautiful. Same like my room in childhood."
Atharav encircled his neck. "Dad you know mom and dadu decorated it for me." He smiled, having a same dimple cheeks like Geet.
"Ofcourse. Both love you a lot." Maan kissed him.
"Atharav show dad his room also." Both turns back hearing Samarth's voice. Atharav nodded and took Maan to his room.
Maan enters in his room and it was like ages he get it back but with some changes as Geet had been using it,more than 4 years. Atharav glance his parents together and his smile not taking a pause. Samarth followed them and show Maan, his new wardrobe. Maan found every new attire there. His all old one replaced before he made entry to his own world.
"how's it?" Samarth asked with a smile and gleaming eyes. His happiness had no bound today.
"dad why all this? Why you spend so much when my old stuff was also good..." Maan changed and that's become his nature.
"Maan you are born to rule. You are not a pauper. You are Khurana's heir,prince of Khurana empire and i dont want to see my prince in old clothes. I want you to learn the value of money which you learnt. But now i want you to live life for which you born. So no argument." no doubt he is Samarth's life and now he want to shower all his love in every form which was on hold from past several years. Maan viewd his gleaming eyes and strange energy in him. No one would say that thia man just leave the hospital after a heart attack. Samarth was so energetic and active getting him back in his life and Maan wants to make it permanent so he accept what his dad want.
"sure dad,any thing for you. And i make sure i will make your account empty..." he teased him which stretched his lips to ears.
"pleasure is all mine." he kissed on his forehead. "now both of you take some rest. See you at the dinner. And ya pls be on time coz my daughter in law is very strict." he winked at Maan left with Atharav giving both a needed space. Though Athrava become fussy not ready to leave his dad but his dadu know to mend him.
Both are alone in their room with a killing silent. Maan not even looking at her and turned his back,facing his wardrobe. "Geet if you want to fresh n up then go,i will change after you." he talk as much calmly as he could. Maan took his night wear and shut it. He turned to face a stiffned body of hers who was stand like a statue. Maan has a believe and now he dont want to create trouble,sply for his family sake. "are you going or...?" Maan asked politely and she nodded only no.
The moment she shook her head Maan made a move inside washroom. Sharing a space with her now disturing him alot. He dont know how will he manage all this but right he wasn't in terms of talking. Maan change and left the room,waving out without glancing at her. He straight reached to study room of his father and strat thinking rom where he can start. Meera to came there. "good you come. Now i want to hold the command of Khurana Empire."
"Maan the we have to find about all bussines and for that it necessary we start it from a small reserch." Meera supports his view and both engrossed in the files.
Maan start reading the files,where he found the file of his project which he propsed 5 years ago. "Meera look at this. This was my project." he was so happy after reading the progress.
"yes your baby. Wanna see it?" Samarth came and Maan rush to him.
"dad you completed. I cant tell.." he dont even found words. "dad can we go now?" like a small kid his excitement had no bound.
"Maan we just came and you are not well completely. Hum subah bhi to ja sakte hai." Samarth understand his excitement but he dont want Maan to forgot his family. The way he found him lost in files gave a bite of tension to him.
"no dad i cant wait. I want to see my baby..." true it was his first project. How can he stay back at home.
"dad where are you going? I am your baby na?" Athrav listen his dad and his insecurities just come out like a flood.
All laugh on his innocent question. Maan lifts him up in his arms and cuddled to assure him that he belongs to him only. Maan kissed on his cheek. "dad is only yours son and now not going to leave you. Promise." Maan sense his insecurities and made promise. Atharav snuggled him firmly not ready to leave so he drop his visit for a while.
After dinner Maan again reached to study. He was reading informations about their business. He dont even realised how much time had passed. Today Athrav wants to sleep witn him only so he dont listening to any one. Finally when his eyes loosing the strength to open,he straight went to his father.
Atharav raised his neck to see what Maan was doing. Maan smile seeing his cute antics. He made him sit on his lap. "dad i want to sleep." he told him,rubbing his eyes.
"my baby want to sleep?" he asked kissing on his hairs and Atharav nodded in a pace.
"dad chalo na." he simply demands leaning back on his chest.
Maan saw him uncomfortable,so he leave the laptop and moved with him. Geet was awaked. Both just share a glance and then he moved towards their bed for his son's sake only.
"Atharav come here baby." Geet called him to her but he nodded no. He wasn't ready to leave Maan's side.
"Atharav listen to your mom." Maan brushes his hairs and asked him to obey Geet but Atharav was adamant to slept in his arms only. Seeing him being stubborn Geet dont forced and laid on one corner. For his sake he to laid on the other side and cuddled him in his warmth. Tenderly he patting his head and back so he sleep calmly. Late at night when he found Atharav in a deep sleep,he left his side to leave from there. Maan placed pillow to protect him from falling and covered both Geet and Atharav under the duvet properly before leaving.
Whole night he was with the files. Not slept properly. At 5:30 am he left the study to go back to Atharav. Silently he made a move and found him sleepy. Maan sighed and laid next to him carefully. Maan kissed him and cuddled again. Geet open her eyes and closed quickly before Maan noticed. She was relaxed that he came back before Atharav's awakening.
At breakfast time Maan demands to join office. But Samarth not found it a very good idea. "what so hurry Maan? Give some time to Atharav and Geet. They need you most. Business konsa bhaga ja raha hai."
"Dad i promise i can balance. I will not avoide any of them because of business but i cant sit at home." Maan was so strong about his decision.
"dad you again going away?" Atharav stared him helplessly.
"no baby. Dad going to office and back in evening,like dadu." he tried to convience him which not very much easier for him. Atharav leave his seat and settled in his lap.
"you just come from office trip na. Then no go." He told him.
Maan felt guitly for not being with his son in past years. He left the place to spend some time alone with Atharav and to get his permission. Maan took him to his room an talked to him. "abhi my baby going to school,so what did dad do? Dad get bore in your absence na? So dad thought go to office and do some work and came back in with dadu in evening and i promise after coming back i only spend time with you."
Atharav's little heart was scared. Scared that much that he dont even want to leave him for a second. He scared even to blink his eyes,what he dont found him again. But Maan promised him again and again and after so much struggle Atharav gave him permission.
As Maan promised he took him to school. Atharav step forward but then came back to his father and hugged his leg. He tilted his head upward. "dad promise na aap wapis aaoge dadu k sath?" his tiny heart asked again to assured and Maan promised him again and again. Then only he went inside.
Maan went to his office first. All was amused to see him back. But he was not the same play boy he use to be. This man is far different from that one. Now his only concern was his work and he trying to clenched the grip. Meera to join the office and Samarth showed them their cabins. He start reading all the financial reports and progress reports of past five years. He even went to saw his dream project which was doing good. That feeling gave him a boost.
In evening the moment he entered with Samarth,Athrav rushed madly to him and jumped in his arms. It was first happened in past 4 years that Atharav ignored his dadu completely but he had no complaints. He know his yearnings.
"My baby miss me?" Maan asked in his ears and Atharav opened his tiny arms wide to show him how much he did. Maan pulled him near and made a move with him to his room ignored rest of them. It was his son time only as he promised. Till dinner both played. Maan wants to make up everything he was lacking. Geet glance from outside witnesses how much her son is happy. His every action showed what was missing in his life.
"Geet why you standing here. Go and join them." Samarth want to see all of them as a family.
"Nahi papa I don't want to snatch their moments. Atharav is happy with him." Geet simply told him, without glancing in his eyes.
But Atharav saw her and dragged her inside. "Mom come and play." He forcibly took her inside. Atharav wants both. She join them and Samarth left. Maan stay afterwards only for few minutes.
"Baby dad need to change. You play okay" he kissed and left the room.
Geet to went behind to confront him. "Itna hi gussa hai to nikal kyu lete?" She accused.
Maan first stay silent to avoid any argument but when she asked again Maan open his mouth but not to curse or fight her. "What anger are you talking about Geet and for what reason? Infact I am sorry for my behaviour. What I said to you and Atharav in India. I am sorry for that. I had no right to say those words. Forgive me if you can. But I promise I will noy trouble you. You are free to live your life like before. I will make sure that your life won't change because of my presence. I only came back because of Atharav and dad, so bear me. But I promise I will not interfere and try to keep myself away." Maan's tone was mild and eyes dead. He doesn't show any anger or other emotions. Just confessed and left for washroom.
Geet was mute. She don't even got a time to react on his confession. Infact she don't even understand the meaning of his words. She was not getting his complete changed behavior. It was not a person she used to know. It was like she viewing a complete new man about whom she don't know any thing. But she take it as change of place and his needed time to adjust in new environment..
3 months passed without any fuss, but business world start recognizing a new threat Maan Singh Khurana. Within in a three months he not only clenched his grip on his business but told their rivals that Khurana Empire is not orphan. It have his eligible would be King, more cunning and more sharper than Samarth. Without taking a rest, day and night he only do work to expand it and abolish their rivals.
He was working like a machine and at home his time was only for Atharav. Samarth noticed some indifference between both. "Maan I had planned a holiday trip for Geet and you. Jab se tum aaye ho, you don't get a private space so how about a one week holiday for..." before he complete Maan cut it off.
"One week dad. No way. Dad I don't have time for a second and you want me to go for whole one week." He denied thoroughly.
"My son before you it was me who handling all this alone. So it doesn't make big difference just in a week. It is my business and I can handle it. Or zada baat hai to Meera hai na office me mere sath." Samarth trapped him but Maan was not an easy task.
"I am sorry dad but right now I can't think about other than my work. Excuse me." He left the place before their discussion leads towards arguments.
Maan was busy in reading some file when Geet came there. "You don't want to go with me to directly mana kar dete. Why making fake excuses? You think I don't know why you spending your time out on name of your so called meetings. It's okay you can tell me." Geet's tone was rough as well as accusing. She accusing him for cheating behind her back on name of business meetings.
Maan grew angry as she non stop blaming him, but still he don't snap. He just grasp her which wasn't hurting at all. "I know what you think about me. But now I don't have time for all that. I have a kid jiske samne mujhe kuchh values rakhni hai, taki wo b meri tarah spoil na ho jaye. I don't want him to become like me. Still you doubting then come with me and see with your own eyes. I leave that life much behind." Maan left her instantly seeing her pulling her hand out of his grasp. The very same moment his phone rang and he put the call on speaker.
Rahul was on the call. "Hello Maan sir, your ticket is confirmed. Kal apki meeting hai 2 baje and then your will take flight for Vancouver, where mr. Jake came to receive you. I already took time for meeting." He brief his schedule to him.
"Good job Rahul." Maan cut the call and moved out. He commands his servant and he put his luggage in his car. Driver is ready to move with him.
Samarth came. "Where are you leaving now?" He asked with a surprise.
"Dad Manhattan wali deal k bare me btaya tha na. Usi ko final karne jana hai. But don't worry I'll be back soon."
"What the hell is Maan? Both of you made my house a hotel. Already Meera was in London and now you too leaving." He complained.
"Dad she will be arrive tomorrow and please ask her to forward a mail to me about project." Maan hugging him and ready to leave when Atharav obstruct his way.
"Dad take me with you." He demands or could say commands.
"No baby. If you come with me then who will take care of mom and dadu in my absence? You are my strong boy right?" Maan manipulated.
"No I want to come with you." He wrapped his arms around his legs.
"Maan leaned over him. "Okay I promise when I came back dad will take an off from office and spend whole day with his baby only. We will go and visit all your favorite spots. Promise." He framed his face and kissed him.
"Dad kitne dinn me aaoge?" Little soul start counting a second of absence.
"Very soon and I also call my baby." No matters how much busy he was but he called Atharav in between where ever he go. When little soul agreed he left him and Maan moved out.
