The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

It was d last exam Geet was very relaxed ,, daijaan was taking good care of her nd Kabir had planned to spent weekend in countryside ,full rest nd enjoyment , where Maan was all packed to leave for india same night ,, but he was tensed ,, d Qs related to Geet wr bothering him ,, he had transferred a big amount of money in Sam ac to start d treatment ,, they had choose d good hsptl which Sam's current Dr suggested ,, he told her that he was going to India for arranging more money but this thing suspected Sam ,, She was going to US with her parents nd he was India , what if he he didn't give rest of money .

Sam: u cn go to India after giving me all money for my treatment , this money is not sufficient , what'll I do if u didn't give after reaching there ?

Maan annoyed: so now u r not even trusting me ,, I gave u sufficient to start d treatment nd saying that rest i'll transfer after reaching there ,, Dad give me rest of money after reaching there .

Sam: no, I want whole money before going to US ,, I cn't take risk .

Maan angry: if I said I m giving u means I m giving u at any cost ,, I m coming back after few days ,, ur parents r coming nd they cn stay here with u ,, leave d keys with d honour when u leave for US ,, at least have some trust Sam .(he was hurt ,now he became only a money wending machine for her )

Sam : it's d matter of my life ,, remember one thing Maan if u delayed or didn't give me rest of money , my treatment will suffer nd I won't bear that .

Maan huffed : don't remind me ,, u'll get ASAP , nd I'll pray that u get well soon nd join ur family ,, i'll inform u when I got d money , but there is a request that don't call me during my stay in India ,, i'll contact u when I got time .

Sam: huumm ,, OK, but try to make it fast .

Maan: huummm,, ur parents r coming TM, so take care till then .

Sam: hummm, thanks .

Maan left for Airport nd Sam started to pack for her departure for US ,, her nd her parents tickets nd hotel to stay wr confermed nd she had fixed her appointment with d Dr ,, there was only wait for her parents , nd she was feeling very week to face them in this crucial situation ,, she was success to manage d money from Maan which was a big help for her nd her family , but still there was a lot to face .

There Maan reached at AP nd informed his dad , Mom nd DM ,, they wr happy that at last he got some sense but there was lot to unfold ,, situation was not d same which he left months back ,,DM nd Reema didn't know that he was living with Sam in these months ,, it was Yash who knew that .

Maan was restless , he didn't have any idea what relation his family nd Geet had ,, how his family managed d situation ? What was Handa's behaviour after rejecting their daughter ? How he wd face them ? What was Geet's program in this break ?

There wr countless Qs roaming in his mind in whole journey nd he reached India ,, when Maan stepped in KM his heart beat fast , felt a lump in his throat , he didn't have courage to keep his head nd eyes up ,, with lower head he entered in living hall early in d mrng ,, he heart skipped a beat seeing his whole family there ,waiting for him ,, their faces brightened but not like that which he left months back ,, Dev came close to welcome him nd hugged him ,, Maan touched DM nd Reema's feet who blessed him nd then hugged , then he came infront of Yash ,, bent to touch his feet but Yash stopped him in mid with a cold voice.

Yash: there is no need of this show off , this cn't bring back our lost respect nd family's happiness .. tum dil se ya khushi se nahi balki apni majboori se yahan aaye ho .

Maan sadly: I m sorry dad ,, I m accepting my mistakes .

DM : Yash beta , let him sit , we have time to discuss all ,, plzz.

Yash: discuss kerke bhi kya badal loge Maa ,, jo khushiya aur izzat chali gai wo chali gai ,, wo ab wapad nahi milengi.

Maan felt a churn in his tummy ,, he feared sensing that there was something bad to face ,, his father's rough nd cold behaviour indicating that they had faced some insult ,, he looked down nd DM made him sit near her ,, asked about his study nd health bcoz he was looking weak nd tired ,, Nakul kept his luggage in his room nd Satish served coffee nd snaks ,, Yash was very quiet , Dev left for gym ,, Reema nd DM wr talking nd asking him random Qs about his hostel , college nd place , but there was not that warmth in their love which he felt months back ,, Maan heart cried inwardly feeling that cold behaviour of all ,,in his greed nd mistake he ruined all d happiness , he didn't know d dept of damage ,, Yash left after finishing his coffee .

DM nd Reema told him to take some rest , though he was feeling jet leg nd wanted to sleep ,but he was eager to what had happened behind him ,, how much he destroyed ,, what they had feced bcoz of him ?

Maan: it's OK DM , I m fine .

DM: OK then go nd change , we r coming in ur room.

Re: Maan what wd u like to eat in BF , tell me i'll prepare for u .

Maan: plzz don't take pain mom ,i'll eat what nakul made for all .

Re: after months u r going to eat at ur home , cooked by ur mom ,, I know what type of food u get in hostel ,, see ur face ,, u become so weak .

It pinched Maan ,, his mom nd DM thought that he was living in hostel means his Dad didn't disclose his reality in front of them , but one thing struck him at once that even Geet too didn't tell them anything about him nd sam .. Why?

Maan composed himself nd got up to go in his room ,, he gave a faint smile to Reema nd DM nd said.

Maan: DM , Mom , I want to talk u , plzz.

DM: Ok , we'll but 1^st talk to ur dad Maan ,, he was very hurt .

Maan with heavy heart : ji .

Maan left to his dad's room ,, when he entered room he found Yash reading newspaper ,, Maan slowly nearer him .

Maan: dad ...

Yash: so , Mr Maanveer singh Khurana ur need bring u back .

Maan knelt near Yash : I m extremely sorry for my all mistakes dad ,, u cn punish me .

Yash: ur sorry nd my punishment cn't turn d time Mr , d damage had done nd we r bearing d outcomes ,, I don't know u feel , that u has lost something or not , but we lost a lot .

Maan dipped his head ashamed ,, how he cd say that he was also at loss ,, he was helpless nd regretting .

Maan : I know that I cn't redo d things , but I m regretting my wrong decisions ,, I want to mend d things ,, I want to come back dad ,, I want a chance to bring back d happiness of my family ,, plzz give me a chance dad ,, i'll do what u want .

Yash: Maan, i cn't trust u ,, u r doing this nd saying this to get d money ,, now tell me why do u want this big sum of money ? why Sam want money from u ,, where r her parents ?

Maan shuddered disclosing d truth: Dad u know I was living with Sam nd ...

There was a gasp at d door ,, Reema nd DM overheared his words nd shocked them .. he was living with Sam ,, Yash knew that ...

Yash shied in disappointment nd raked his hand in his hair ,, at last they got d truth .

DM: Maan ,, hume aapse ye ummeed nahi thi ki tum etna gir jaoge .

Reema: tumhe zara sharam nahi aai shadi kerke kisi aur ke sath rahaty hue .. chi ,, aur wo Sam ,, wo janti thi ki tumhari shaadi ho gai hei fir bhi wo tumhare sath thi ,, hey babaji !! ( Reema slumped on bed shocked nd sad )

Yash: Reema , Maa ab ess sab per afsos kerne ka koi phayda nahi hei ,, haan tum bolo Maan tumhe aur kitne paise dene hei Sam ko aur ku?

Maan gulped hard: wo Sam is dignosed with C***** ,, she said that my kundli doshas affected her bcoz she was with me nd sharing her life with me.

DM: what ? but how cn u affect her ,, she is not married to u ?

Maan (ashamed) : wo ,, wo ,, we wr in live in relationship .

Reema nd DM gasped covering their mouths ,, they wr feeling disgusted , this truth angered them nd both sat quitly .

Maan: she nd her parents thought that she was with me that is why she is in this trouble means suffering with this disease bcoz of my kundli doshas .

DM: her parents knew that she was with u ,, disgusting ppl ,, cn't they have any hold on their daughter.

Maan: they came to know about all after her disease ,, they said that they don't have sufficient money for treatment nd Sam said that I m responsible so I have to pay her ,, it was d matter of her life ,, I m helpless Dad , I m at fault nd now I have to bear it .

Reema : it's not only u but we all bearing this ?

Yash: nd what after getting d money? What is ur next plan ?

Maan: she decided to go with her parents ,, she is leaving for US after 2-3 days with her parents .

DM: r u going with her ?

Maan: no , but I have to check how she'll take d treatment ,, I have to give her more money for treatment .

Yash: nd after her treatment , r u going to her like before ,, tell us everything clear Maan , no jhoot or smart play like before.

Maan: everything is over ,, I m accepting my mistake nd won't repeat it again ,, i'll do what u all want .

Yash: time'll tell this how much u r trustworthy ? right now I cn't trust u .

Reema : u r right Yash , we cn't trust ,sply that girl who willingly agreed to live with a married guy nd kept her parents in dark too .

DM: if we tell u to forget her , wd u Maan , aur again u r trying to make us fool like u did before ?

Maan: plzz trust me DM ,, I won't do anything like that.

Reema: u said this that time too , nd see what we faced ?

Maan : after giving this money to her everything will be over ,, she'll go with her parents , they r also angry with her .

Reema: what if they'll change nd forced u to marry Sam ,, u both lived together .

Maan: I won't ,, I promise .

Yash: we'll see that in coming days ,, Maan I m clearing u one thing ,, I m giving u this money in return of ur shares of KC ,, after this u don't have any share in KC ,, u r only a Khurana Family member ,, u cn work in KC , but u'll get salary ,, don't try to tarnish d respect of Khurana's working at other places or to ask money from other places .

Maan: ji , i'll keep this in mind ,, cn I work in Canada ?

Yash: that is a diff country , nd u cn work there to get some exp ,, i'll give u money only for ur requirement , not for others enjoyment .

Yash: hummm ,, i'll deposit that in ur ac Today,, u requested me to give u a chance , so keep that in mind , prove urself .

Maan came out from Yash room ,, he was ashamed of hurting his family nd regretting at his deeds , but after facing his Dad, DM nd Mom he was feeling light ,, d burden lessen a lil , but this was not d end , there was more to face ..
