Maan luked at his stubborn dadi,sighing he took remaining steps of stairs.Keeping his coat on dining chair,he again repeated:aap ko yahan aana nhe chahey tha.Aap Purvi k sath wapis Chandigarh jao.
Dadi snapped:men wahan kya krun?Ghar to bcho se hota hai.mere bche he nhi wahan men wahan reh kr kya krun.
Maan:meri to nhe sunta,aap he smjha lo Saleel ko.wo shadi kyun nhe kr leta?Phr aap rehti rehna uske sath.
Purvi who was hearing their convo,finally broke da silence:wo kese apni nai life shuru kr skta hai jb tk aap apni zindagi men set nhi honge.
He kept back his coffee cup withouth taste:meri zindagi to kho gai hai,jb tk wo mujhe wapis nhe mile gi men kisi k lye bhi kuch nhe kr skta.
He left from there & no one stop him.Dadi worriedly:kese smjhaey ise?jb ise pta chle ga Geet apni zindagi mein kitna aage bdh chuki hai..Uski to ek alg dunya hai,kya guzre gi is par.
Maan recived his ringing cell while sitting in car:kon?
Sam whisperd:men Sam.jine aapko promise kya tha Geet k bare men btane k lye?
Maan:haan,btao kya btana hai.
Sam:wo to men btaunga jb papa unse baat krenge.Mene Akhil ka message dene k lye papa k mobile se chupke se phone kya hai.
Maan confused:kya?
Sam:wo aap ko school bula rha hai.Aap k 80 rupes jma ho gaey.usne wapis krne hen.
Maan cudnt able to hold back his smile.Instead of all da dark world around him da memory of his innocent face filled his heart wid some kind of joy:theek hai,use keh dena men kal le lunga.

Driver had to increase his pace as little rocket ran inside Maan house.Dadi & Purvi looked in surprise as a little boy came runing inside:Hello.I am Akhil.Mr.Khuranna ghar par hen?
Purvi & dadi on still in surprise nodded their head.He asked:to unka room kahan hai?
Getting Purvi signal he ran upstair wid driver behind him.
On noise Maan luked up from his file & got surprised to see Akhil standing there in his school uniform & bag:tum?
Driver from behind:sir mene inko kaha tha,jo dena hai mujhe de do.Sir ne mujhe bheja hai.Par ye to zid pakr k gadi men he beth gae.k men khud dunga.
Akhil kept his usual stubborn expressions,uneffected by driver complain.Maan signaled him to go & watched Akhil who walked inside wid full pride:men jis se cheez leta hun,uske hath men hi deta hun.Maan raised his eye brow as he sat wid his little leg on his other knee,a pose just like Maan.Maan tried best to ask in serious tone:kya lenge aap?Chaey,coffee?
The way his almond eyes moved in circle,in process of decison making made him look even more cute.He finally declared"coffee"
Maan call servant:ek coffe aur ek icecream lana.
How much he wanted to pull those soft cheeks when he licked his lips hearing icecream.He got up keeping his bag down he took money..coins from bag,shirt & shorts pockets & scattered them on table.AKhil:pocket money thodi milti hai to collect krne men time lg gya.pure hen.ok wait i ll count.
Resting fist under his chin he showed Akhil fake interest as he count dm with his little antics.After counting them two time he cleared himself:Preet k sath count kye the to jaldi ho gaey the.bs thodi deyr men kr lunga.
The servant arrived wid coffe & icecream.Maan:pehle ye le lete hen,phir count krte hen.
Akhil instantly picked up icecream cup:coffe to men roz peeta hun,aaj aap pee lo.
Maan raised his eyebrow in admiring his lieng skill:thank u.
Licking delicious icecream he kept questioning:ye aap ka ghar hai?Aap is room men akele rehte ho? They were so engrossed in their chit chat dt did not noticed dadi luking at dm wid teary eyes"agr aaj sb kuch thek hota to mere Maan ka bhi aesa beta hota"
After Maan teached him da easist way of counting he collected hir stuff.Maan:driver tumhe ghar chod k aaey ga.seedhe ghar jana.
He nodded & turned:agr aap ko kbhi paise chahey hun to mujhse aa kr le lena.
The sadness in his soft tone,da wish to meet him again in his almond straight reached to Maan heart.Wid a promising tone & assuring gaze he answered:men zrur aaunga.
Lightening his surrounding by flashing cute smile he left.

Maan was impatiently waiting for principal reply who was busy in scaning old teachers list.He was here because of Sam yesterday call"kal papa ne Geet se baat ki.Wo pouch rhe the school kesa chl rha hai"An than da detective had to cut da call.The tone of middle aged lady was polite & respectful in effect of his donation:hmare school men koi Geet naam ki teacher nhe hai.Do saal pehle thi,ye hai unki c.v.
She was Geet,but not His! Disappointed he walked out of her office.He was sure she is in Shimla.He could feel her in its air.Still 10 schools were remaing & he was sure he will find her.He had so many ways to get da answer from Jay mouth.Its not that he was weak,its just he didnt wanted to give a single alert which helped her in escaping from him once again.
Instead of going out he went to junior classes.The unknown crave to saw dt Mr.Chilly made him scanned da classrom.He turned his head in disapointmnt on not finding him.But than his eyes finally caught him standing outside of classroom wid his delicate arms raised up.
His swollen eyes instantly shined.Maan who felt a pinch in his heart seeng him in dis state:tum yahan kya kr rhe ho.
Akhil: ye punishment hoti hai aap ko nhi pta,aap kbhi school nhe gaey?
Maan:kyun mili hai?
A teacher came from behind:is ne khatta hai ek bche k hath par.buht he gussa aata hai ise.
Maan snapped:aur aaj ek period hath khra kr k,wo kal do bar khate ga.Harsh Punishments bcho ko sudharti nhe unhe aur dhet bna deti hen.Principal se bat krun?
The teacher signaled him to over & left.As it was about to hometime Akheel ran behind him grabbing his school bag.Maan kept his pace slow but showed his anger through expressions.Akhil:wo mujhe subha se tang kr rha tha.
As Maan remain quiet,Akheel:koi kuch bhi kre,sb mujhe he galt smjhte hen.
Wid a frown he sat on Maan car bonnet.Maan tk out juice & chocolate from car which he bought for him.Sitting wid him Maan softly:to khatna solution nhe hota.
Eating chocolate he replied:aap ne hi to kaha tha marna mat.
Maan eyes wided,Akhil handed him half sandwich from his lunch box.Maan:tum ne time par lunch kyun nhe kya?
Akhil:mera dil nhe kr rha tha kuch bhi khane ko.
Maan teased:aur ab mujhe dekh kr bhook lg aai.
Licking ketchup from his lips he nodded.Maan lovingly kept staring at him.The innocence blended wid strength & confidence felt so similar to him.
Noticing his casual clothes he asked:aaj aap ki chuti hai?
Maan:haan bus mood nhe tha office jane ka.Gym jaunga abhi.
Akhil questioned:jahan excercise krte hen?
Getting Maan nod he asked:excercise kyun krte hen?
Maan thoughtfuly:umm,active aur strong hone k lye.
Akhil excitdly:phir jb strong ho jate hen to kisi se bhi Fight kr skte hen?Mujhe bhi gym jana hai.
Maan eyes wided realizing the trouble.He carried him up from bonnet"No,tumhari bus ka time hogya ha.Seedhe ghar jao"
Akhil protested:please mujhe bhi sath le kr jao.Mujhe strong bna hai fight krne k lye"
Maan dragged him to his school:no,go home.Bye.Men phir aaunga milne.

Geet worriedly ran to kitchen hearing a loud bang in kitchen:kya hua?Kon hai wahan?
The sight made her eyes wided in horror seeng Dev hand bleeding & da Knife in Akhil hand.She marched to them but Dev blocked her way:kuch nhi hua.
Geet teary eyes:Akheel?
He threw knife & ran away from there.Dev hold her:tum preshan mt ho sb thek hai.bus driver ne btaya tha wo kal bus men ghar nhe aaya to mene us se pouch lya?
Geet wiped his hand & luked around for ointment.He softly wiped her tears:chota hai,bde ho kr khud he thek ho jaey ga.tum kuch nhe kehna use.
He pulled her in hug as she brust into tears.

A strong magnetic pull,An unknown craving lead him to school again.As it was hometime Akhil was already sitting outside.Maan sat near him wid yummy Mc Donald:tumhari shkal se lag rha hai tum ne aaj bhi lunch nhi kya.
As his face remain dull,Maan asked:aaj bhi punishment mili hai.
Not waiting for his answer Maan added:leave it.Wese bhi kal to sunday hai.Cartoons,party,picnic. .
Akhil sadly whispered:picnic par jaeynge kal sb,par men nhe jaunga.
Maan leaned near him:kyun?
His heart sank as Akhil wiped tear from corner of his eyes:mom ne mna kya.wo mujhse naraz hen.unhune punishment di.
Maan:to acha hai na?men bhi weekend par akela hun.Chlo phir hum sath men enjoy krenge.
Shooking his legs he dreamily watched all da men doing workout.A grand gym wid lots of machine just like his fantasy.Maan signaled him to sit still as he went to did a quick workout. A water bottle dropped down on floor from bench.He picked it up but in a moment a huge man passed by & slipped hardly by water.Akhil stood up in horror as he barked on him.He hardly grabbed his arm.Maan pushed away his hand in burning anger:how dare you?
The man just left & Maan sat on his knees worriedly infront of shivering Akhil.Holding his arm he worriedly asked:r u ok?
And dn he noticed a blue patch on sensitive flesh of his arm.Sensing Maan anger Akheel spoke:ye usne nhe kya?
Cupping his face Maan asked:phr kis ne kya.mujhe btao.
He sobbed:mere papa ne.

Preet ran behind da ball while Dev walked back to Geet whose face was pale & eyes were red from crying.Sitting next to her he hold her hand:jb bardasht nhe hota to usko sza kyun deti ho?
Geet tone expressed her pain:mujhe kuch smjh nhe aata men kya krun? wo mera sb kuch hai.Usko khone k dar se mene sari dunya chod di.Men buht pyar krti hun us se.tum bhi us se itna pyar krte ho par phir bhi usme nafrat,gussa waqt k sath bdhta hi ja rha hai.She sobbed:mujhe buht dar lgta hai.men use khone nhe chahtimen kitna hi chahun wo mujhe nhe bhulne deta wo Maan Khuranna ka beta hai.
Wrapping arms around her he thought wid hatness"mujhe bhi"

He always noticed a hidden darken,a pain in his innocent eyes & now his heart ache & blood rushed in anger hearing da reason.Akhil kept juice aside & slowly added:jb mom nhe hoti wo mujhe drate hen,buht marte hen.wo kehte hen wo mere papa nhe hen.wo mujhe bilkul pasand nhe krte.unhune bola hai agr mene kbhi bhi mom ko btaya wo meri mom ko mujhse buht dour le jaeynge.men unke bger nhe reh skta I love her so much.Kal unhune mere hath par mar.wo mujhe knife se dra rhe the.phr mom ki awaz sun kr mujhko he knife de di.Mom bhi mujhse naraz ho gai.
Maan controling his tears,cupped his face:koi bhi tumhe tumhari mom se dour nhe kr skta.wo tumhara hi yakeen kre gi.Men khud btaunga unhe.
Akheel shook his head in horror.Maan assured him:mt daro.men tumhare sath hun.Tum is dunya k sb se pyare bche ho,u deserve to be best.
Wrapping his little arms around Maan neck:aur aap is dunya k best angel ho bilkul wese jese papa men roz mangta tha.
He protectively wrapped his arms around him:i love u baby.Everything will be fine.I promise!
