Part 10 Oozing romance from this part. Both are alone in whole house and could not avoid each other. she was dumb seeing he affecting her so much and he was not losing this chance to drool over her. beautifully written. So will something bet man & woman. Lol.
Part 11 She could not deny the feeling for him. That feelings reflected in her writing also. Lovely verses. It shows how she wanted this to continue.
She stole his B/W pic from store room. She didn't want to back to delhi in busy life rather she appreciate here with him alone in this house.
She was aware of his gaze on her back.
"You want anything more...omg...what she thought .
Loving how you are building the magic in chapters.

"Geeettt! Pinky sang as she ran to hug the living daylights out of her.
"How have you been? she asked taking the bag from her, linking her arms with Geet as they walked to where Pinky's dad had parked the car.
It's been months since Geet was away to Dehradun, and Pinky missed her terribly. Theirs was a minority gang but a gang nevertheless; herself, Aditya and Geet.
Without Geet, it felt sort of weird hanging out just with Aditya. He was a nice man, but they both jumped out of nervousness at the mere mention of anyone around them as if they were dating each other.
They weren't of course. Having Geet around made their little group made more sense; it had three misfits after all.
"I am good Geet said smiling back sunnily at her best friend.
"Good? Pinky looked hurt. "Aren't you supposed to miss me?
"I did Geet said truthfully. "If there is anyone I have missed terribly, it's you
"Of course you would miss just me. Since DD was next to you, there's no chance of missing him there Pinky teased.
DD, or Dhak-Dhak was the standard nickname given by women employees to Maan Sir and it had always made her laugh. Not anymore, though.
She tried for a comeback, something off handed to make it sound like a joke or that it didn't matter, but try as she might, she couldn't.
"You should've been in my place she said instead with a sigh.
"You have no idea how many colleagues of ours think just that Pinky said meeting her square in the eye "You just have NO IDEA
This time, it made Geet laugh.

"I need to tell you something Geet, it was Pinky's father, Aman Manchanda who beckoned her closer.
He was her father figure, whom she had loved and respected so much and who is the only person who made her miss her family a little less.
"Is it necessary now dad? Pinky asked, her tone taking a frustrated end "She literally just came down. I think it can wait
"Shush Pinky. That's not how you speak to my uncle, okay? she said slapping Pinky's arm.
Sitting next to Manchanda uncle, she asked him "What is it uncle?
He removed his glasses and pressed his hand kerchief to his forehead, removing sheen of sweat.
"I got a transfer, and will be moving to Chandigarh
"Oh Geet said, for the lack of a better response.
"And Pinky?
"She is going to move with me, will apply to companies over there
"Okay
"I know it is not fair to ask you to give up your job but Geet, my child, we want you to move there with us
Geet felt something warm spread around her heart. If the family she had called her own has deserted her, there they were, people not tied to her by blood but still cared deeply for her.
"Pinky, can you get me some water?
She looked at Geet suspiciously, as if she sensed it was her ploy to get her out of the room, and Pinky did look like she wanted to argue, but then she sighed and walked out of the room.
Once Geet was alone with Manchanda uncle, she took his hands in hers.
"Uncle, I really really want nothing but to move in with you but I am not qualified enough to find another job. It's a miracle that I have made it to Khurana constructions. I have wasted away enough time, but I swear I am going to work hard, join evening classes if need be, finish my education before I could take a good step. Meanwhile, you will always be my family. I'll come visit you every other weekend, I promise
Aman Manchanda wasn't a sentimental man but he pressed his kerchief to his eyes to dry them up at the thought of leaving the poor child alone. He didn't know exactly what happened to Geet.
It might have been Mohinder's call that day, which made him give shelter to Geet. But he had loved Geet like his own daughter from the day she had stepped in his home.
If needed, he could ask about her past, but the echo of sadness in her eyes told a story that he didn't think he could bear knowing. Whatever had befallen her, she had walked out stronger from it and while she was with him, she would be his kin, his another daughter, and he wanted nothing but the best for both his daughters.
"Whatever you say my child he said passing a loving hand on her head.
"Just remember one thing. You have me, if you need anything
"Thank you uncle Geet said touched. "It matters a lot to me
"One more thing Geet he said hesitating "I wished to tell this earlier but don't hate your parents. They love you very much. Your dad especially
The thought of home always made her homesick, especially because it made her realize how she can't go back to her past, she can't go back to her mother and father even if she wanted to, with all her heart.
"Your father called me the day you came to Delhi Aman Manchanda told her. "How else would we know about your whereabouts? I don't know what had cause you part from them but I know, that wherever you are, he would wish for nothing but your happiness
When she felt a sheen of tears in her eyes, she felt Manchanda uncle patting her head, and she had rested her head against the old man's shoulder, as she had closed her eyes.
Maybe she didn't have a perfect family, but she does have people that loved her, that cared about her. And maybe that was enough.ENCHANTED - THREAD 2 SUMMARY - Thanks all for completing thread1
