Geet and Dev both were in pain and helpless this moment. Geet's past memories were fresh again reflecting in her eyes which were so expressive. She denied to treat Maan.
"Geet you are right on your place. Whatever bro did is not forgivable. And I don't ask for it. But Geet this time he is a helpless patient, who needs medical attention." Dev swirled her. "Geet you are doc and your work is to save life." Dev tried to convince her.
Geet flinch off his hands. "Dev you want me to cure a monster. Who not only ruined me but you as well." Her eyes were having a layers of water and body stiffen with the thought of facing Maan.
"Geet i agree with you. I can understand your pain as well trust me. Even I won't able to forgive him. But Geet try and understand." He pleads to her as she is his only hope.
"Why should I?" Geet raised a simple question.
"Because you are not like him." Dev replied briskly and stunned Geet. "Yes Geet you are life saviour plus you are a good human. Remember first when we met you fought to me for a strange person because my car hit him and you stood for him. I know you told me that bro killed that Geet. But jis Geet se maine pyar kiya hai usse uski humanity koi nahi cheen sakta. Now it's up to you. I am waiting for your decision. Still if you don't want him to be here, i will take him away." Dev left her cabin.
Geet falls on her chair. She leaned back and start thinking about Dev's words. She was in turmoil. Whether she take a risk of revealing her identity to her destroyer or let Dev take Maan away from here. What she shall do. Geet stare at the file, having detail of Maan's case. She leaned forward and opened his file. She start reading the details of him. Her fingers tapping on the knuckles of her other hand. She lost in deep thoughts and called at some number. After 5 hours she come out of her cabin and found Dev in her wait. She was bit surprised seeing his determination to cure Maan, when he himself a victim of his evilness.
"You still here? Dev think once again. Why you want to help a person who snatches everything from you." Geet cautioned him one last time.
"I learned this from you. Help the needy one." Dev gave a smile to her. A smile carrying so much hidden pain.
"Okay I am ready for his treatment." Geet said in a flat voice.
Dev said thanks but he knows what ever he do, he can't repay what geet is going to do. She was safe here till Maan don't knows about her being alive.
Both walked towards his ward where a sharp sound welcome both. Maan was awake and push the try far away from him. He was again shouting and yelling on the hospital staff. Geet and Dev quickly entered into his room and Maan got a view of her. Both come face to face after long ten months. Maan scanned her first then his widened eyes shifts to Dev who stood next to Geet. Already angry he got one more reason to curse Dev. Geet signaled the nurse to leave. Before they could utter a word Maan start laughing like a maniacs. They don't understand the reason of his weird and changed behaviour. Few seconds before he was shouting in anger and suddenly he start laughing for no reason. Both glance each other in confusion.
"What happened? Don't you like my happiness?" Maan asked in a very dangerous tone. Both knows him way of talking.
"Bro what are you talking about?" Dev was confused more with his words.
"Oh my naive brother wants to hear from me. Right" maan smirked like a devil. "And you my dead wife...oppss no not my wife. My brother's ex or I can say his current mistress." Maan's venomous words hurt both but they don't react. "Well you guys impressed me. No I mean it. Your plan is much better than of mine. First his exist then her and now my exist permanently from your lives and from this world. So kitne dinn ka schedule set kiya hai dono ne mujhe marne k liye." He strongly accused both for his suffering and even for his murder planning.
Geet stared Dev. "Or is ghatia admi ko tum cure karna chahte ho."she yelled on him.
"Hey guys no need to pretend okay. Your plan is disclosed already. How fool I am who was dying daily in pain of losting you. I wish I would guessed all this before then I was not lying here helplessly." Maan openly blamed both and accused them.
Geet now had no fear of him. She went closer to him and glared dreadfully. "A person like you deserve this. You have no shame on your sins. Still your brother wants me to cure you. And don't worry I will. He was right you are animal not we." Geet quickly filled one injection and insert in his vein. Maan's left hand worked only so he won't be able to push her away. "Now this will make your shity mouth closed for few hours." She inject and walked like a stroam out of the room, followed by Dev.
"Geet ye..." he was scared with her gestures.
"Don't panic Dev. I want to observe him, so it's necessary to keep his mouth shut." Geet assured him and walked away.
"I am sorry Geet. Meri wajhse aaj ek baar firr tume woi sab sehan karna padd raha hai. I am so sorry but this time I promise you. I wont allow bro to harm you. Once he get alright I will send you far away from his reach so you can live your life freely without any fear." Dev instantly dialled some numbers and gave instructions to the person on the other side.
Then he remind of Meera and he called Sophie her friend. "Sophie we need to talk."
"Why Dev? Why you want to talk with me?"she asked.
"Sophie don't even think of hiding any thing. Now start speaking..." Dev commands her in a threatening voice. Sophie turned mute for a while but she know if she keep her mouth zipped then even no use because later or sooner Dev will find the out every thing so she told him everything. Dev's eyes clenched hard.
"On that day when she left you, actually she was planned for it and you gave her a reason by paying her debt. Dev don't tell her that I told you all this or she will cut off with me also." Sophie was scared because she doesn't want her friend hate her.
"Yesh absolutely not. Please take care of her." His firm voice suddenly turned into a meak one. He felt so much burden on his shoulders.
Geet knew what was Maan's problem and how she can treat him. His case was tough to handle but she was all set to cure him. Geet observed him and his reports for few hours. Then she prepared some notes for further treatment.
