As the night took over the darkness spread throughout ... even though there was certain feeling of being content at some corner of her heart but the anxiety of being alone with him with no one around was something she didn't think of then...
Yes he didn't react for her statement but she knew it was too early for all that!
Silently she made her way to the kitchen to arrange the dinner table while he was in the washroom to freshen up...
She wasn't angry or hurt coz of Aanchal as she knew being a girl if she could help the man who would have been her husband if things worked out to woo his wife then she really must be a sweet person...
But this was also a fact that she was somewhere jealous of her too... y wouldn't she be her husband had spent more time with that girl more than her... n even talks to her phone like its been ages! She still remembered how rudely he cut her call the other day!
Y was her husband so open n free to the other girl than her... he went a step ahead n shopped all the ladies stuff with her... n he is so cool about it! Not that she was doubting him or something but something in the whole situation did prick!
Stirring the curry in the pot she didn't realise her hand was way too near the burner n her dupatta could have burnt...
Feeling the heat she quickly switched off the gass calming her raised heartbeats. .. While she came out to place the dishes on the table she found him already there talking to papa...
Though she had served him many times before too but this was different. .. tonight she was serving her husband dinner after his tiring day at work... she was odly feeling conscious around him... which was clear in all her actions...
The way she was trying to make minimum noise while pulling out the chair of while using the cutlery... she know she was over doing it from his sudden raised voice... cursing her stupidity she too a deep breath n relaxed her self n finished her food quietly!
He was waiting for her in the room for past half an hour but there wasn't any sign of her... 10 more minutes passed he was dead tired owing to the rainy season n the tedious works at the fields. .. all his exited spirits were slowly damping... he was about to go out to look for her when he saw her entering the room wiping her hands to her dupatta looking all lost!
Before she could realise he picked her up in his arms n dumped her on the bed... with a thud!
All she could do was look at him with a angry pout while he broke into laughter looking at her expressions. ..
Geet where are u going now?? He asked her after composing himself. ..
Ummm u sleep I...wo... I'm not sleepy right now... so I don't want to disturb you. ..

What's wrong with her she seemed quite happy with all those gifts then... did she want something else... Why can't she open up to me... this women always tests my patience. .. huh!!
Even after being alone all by themselves she felt lonely. ... she wanted to spend some time with him to know him better how will she manage with his rising temper all her life..
She didn't know how much time passed while she stood in her balcony in the soft drizzle of rain ... Until he hugged her from behind hitting his head with hers softly. ..asking what was bothering her...

That night maan didn't hug her coz he was somewhere lost in her words n the disturbed mind couldn't think of anything else. .. n geet didn't want anymore distance between them coz she was slowly getting a picture of what her demands of space n time could do to their relationship!!
For the world everything would look fine but the cracks were to dangerous to ignore... she didn't knew when she snuggled to him n when he hugged her close to himself giving rest to there restless hearts. ..
Every dawn I wait for the dusk to arrive for I see u a step closer to me!!
